A wonderful place for the sailing fraternity and their friends/family. If you want to learn to sail this is a great place. My husband joined as a member and now we have access to an amazing club with riverside views and veranda. Great bar and lovely restaurant plus meeting rooms for tslks and lectures. We had a talk about the regeneration of London Docklands followed by a meal and drinks. Strongly recommend joining.

Just an amazing beautiful club on the bank of River Thames right best door to Southwark Bridge. Fabulous ambience, comfortable seats in chesterfield type upholstery. The library had a terrific collection of books, something for everyone I believe. The dining room especially in the evening serves tasty fresh cooked food in a very welcoming environment. The views across the river are worth sitting down with a drink and watching all the different types of vessels passing by. I was at one of their Tuesday evening new members and members. The menu was beef bourguignon with flavoured rice with a very delicious sauce, followed by an equally tasty freshly prepared custard and apply crumble, just like granny used to make. A great cross section of people that evening all with an interest in little ships. I believe this Little Ships Club Is an almost hidden jewel with exceptional comfort. The appropriately named cabins instead of rooms each, with a porthole as once again befits a yacht club, with a cost to stay making it certainly more affordable than some of the local hotels and with charm. Went back for my first lunch experience. Just had lunch at the Little Ships Club. The service was exquisite. The setting is really desirable. The tables are spaced out so that a business meeting is very comfortable. In fact there was a group for a corporate lunch and still we were able to enjoy the excellent food freshly prepared by the chef. I had a smoked duck with peach salad and the really tasty Fishcakes for my main course followed by an upside down peach cake with freshly made custard sauce. All in all a great setting to enjoy a lunch in a comfortable setting I'm the only yacht club within the city of London right next door to Southwark Bridge. The Little Ship Club is an incredible place in the heart of London bringing together people who love all things nautical. I have been a member for the past year and I have met some amazing friends that I’ve been able to share some great sailing memories. From the winter fast cruises to pints on the Thames, I’ve made so many wonderful memories with some inspiring, fun and kind humans. The RYA training courses that the club offers helped me dive into sailing after doing my Competent Crew Practical only 14 months ago. I just did the RYA First Aid course today which provided a great foundation in understanding how to deal with a variety of medical emergencies at sea. I have also signed up for the RYA Yacht Master Theory next month which I’m really excited about getting into following the club’s October Fest party. It is a great place to fit any of your needs whether that’s learning more through training courses or meeting new friends over drinks, laughs and interesting chats.

Located on the banks of the Thames River- it is a well suited space for meetings, lunches/dinners, private events, & social gatherings. As a member of the club, it provides a wealth of opportunities to engage in social sailing events of all kinds- both on and off the water. Celebro reuniones de almuerzo en Little Ship Club varias veces al año. Todos son excelentes en términos de comida y servicio. El consenso general de los quince en nuestra última reunión en noviembre de 2019 fue que los ya altos estándares han mejorado aún más. Strange little place in the centre of London overlooking the Thames. Has everything going it, but does not seem to maximise on the potential. No breakfast available in the morning? Very few staff on hand first thing and the 'main entrance' seems to where the bins are stored for other firms. Externally from the Thames side I thought it was derelict? Great potential, currently missing out.

My husband and I threw a party for our friends and family to celebrate our recent marriage. We chose the little ship club because of it's excellent location on the Thames and also because it was family friendly for our guests that bought children. We were not disappointed with our choice. The venue has great character was a good size for the number of guests that we had (approximately 110). It was really nice that we could go out onto the Thames walkway to have some photos and admire the views of London throughout the course of the evening. It also has a good dancefloor area and a quieter seating area.Although my husband and I didn't have a chance to eat on the night, a number of guests have commented on how good the food was.The staff at the venue were accommodating and flexible of all our requests and they were extremely professional as everything ran like clockwork.A massive thank you to Didier and Anais who really made it a really special night for us. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place as an excellent venue for any celebration.

You don't have to be a sailor to enjoy this utterly unique restaurant on the banks of the Thames, bang in the centre of the City of London. True, the Little Ship Club boasts a large number of mariners as members but I'd join just to be able to eat great food in a unique setting with the Thames lapping away outside the dining room window. The food was excellent - a small but interesting menu, with a different special every day of the week. The service is attentive and presided over by a genial French "maitre d". Wines are reasonably priced. In fact, I'd say the whole experience was memorable. Do go before everyone gets to know this hidden Thames side gem in the heart of the City.David D

I visited the Little Ship Club last week (one of my colleagues is a member), and I must say that it was a fantastic experience! The food was beautifully presented, very tasty, and the waitress was charming. We had a private table with amazing views over the Thames, and the sun came out to set it off perfectly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area. A walk down the Thames path from Tower Hill, followed by lunch with a view, and a tea in a superbly comfortable and stylish lounge - perfect! It should also be noted that the food was very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area.

I hosted an event for 14 people at the Little Ship Club because I have a colleague who is a member. Inside it has a lovely atmosphere. The staff know their regular members and are keen to please. The views of the Thames are superb. We had a three course lunch and everyone agreed the food was fabulous, and beautifully presented. My guests were all impressed with this ambiance especially in this busy part of London: it feels calm and civilised and hassle free. Several of my guests expressed an interest in becoming members and I will probably use this venue again. On the downside:For myself I found the service, on this particular day, slow - there was a long gap between the first and main course. Also, we had several vegetarians in our group and although they were well catered for in the end, they were made to feel slightly uncomfortable at one point. Also, the office is not manned full time, and at a point where we could have done with some photocopying, it was locked, the person was just about to leave and when persuaded to help the photocopier jammed and the project was abandoned. Another important negative is the approach to the front door to Bell Wharf is atrocious. It is a covered road that feels like a car park an is where they part the refuse lorries. The approach via the Thames path is infinitely preferable. However, overall this is a relaxed but classy venue and the views of the Thames make it very special.
