The Little Hideout Cafe in Stockport

I arranged a delivery of afternoon tea for international women's day at my workplace for 14 of us and we were all delighted at how lovely it was. It came in cute three tier boxs of sandwiches, cakes and a scone etc... and the manager and staff were very helpful with everything. Will definitely be ordering from here again in future and maybe even a visit to the cafe itself.

Lovely little gem of a cafe we stumbled across while in trip advisor. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was yummy! We will be visiting again with our children!

Went here while visiting bramall park for a sandwich Excellent quality of food and very reasonably priced. Cakes and toasted sandwiches all very good It is very popular at lunchtime Only negative was our table was next to the door and we got a cold blast whenever the door opened

Called in a few times now. Excellent vegan breakfast, delicious cake,lovely coffee Very friendly place. Nothing not to like.

Love this cafe …the staff are so welcoming and the food is superb,home cooked and fresh. Kids meals are fantastic and it’s Dog friendly they even give them sausage. My favourite place after a dog walk. Tina

I have had a couple of parties where the catering was provided by Richard and his staff, a wide range of food, a variety of fillings for the sandwiches, including vegetarian, I will definitely be using them again. x

Nice enough, good selection overall but kids bag was rubbish and very overpriced for what was in it.

The little hideout cafe is our little treat. We visit here every weekend after our gym session. The Hideout special.. which is a huge full English is always cooked to perfection... Specialist teas, coffee and cakes are delish and all incredibly reasonably priced. Richard, Eleanor and the rest of the team are polite, welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Good breakfast the sausages are really tasty. They have a fantastic selection of cakes to have with your coffee and the ice cream is really smooth with a nice selection of flavours

The cafe is very nicely decorated and has a homey feeling. There are also some paintings from local artists on display and for sale. The menu is simple but the food is very nice. Staff is very friendly as well. The cafe is dog friendly which for us is a massive plus.

A home made biscuit and an Americano coffee to take the chill off after school was just what I wanted. The festively decorated cafe had lots of well behaved children with their parents. A.mixture of seats and sofas makes for a relaxed atmosphere There are books and games to entertain the children and the food was good, the coffee and complimentary biscuit pleasant. Will definitely call in again.

It's a big hit it seems with the school-run crowd which makes it family friendly. The toasted sandwiches are amazing- can highly recommend the tuna melt or Brie & cranberry! What we especially love it that tea is served properly... In a pot with China cups & saucers. The staff are ever so friendly. It's fresh and modern, incorporating aspects of a traditional tea shop. Well done! A perfect addition to the community.

My family and Ollie the dog visit a couple of times every week. The atmosphere is great, you’re always welcomed and the food is amazing! I highly recommend the prawn sandwiches. Visit this place, you won’t be disappointed!

I had written a review when this little cafe opened and I couldn't have praised it more. However I was so disappointed today. I ordered a sandwich to take away and when I got back to work found that the bread was very mouldy. I took it straight back for a refund (I didn't fancy a replacement as it made me question the freshness of the other ingredients). The owner said he had fresh bread delivered daily so I guess he needs to take it up with his supplier. I would however expect better quality control by the person making the sandwich, how they missed that much mold is beyond me! Won't be going back. Such a shame as I love supporting small local businesses.

We’ve been here for breakfast and lunch and the food is always fab. They do a great coffee as well and as an added benefit it’s just up the road. A really comfortable and friendly cafe - you won’t be disappointed

We have regularly visited the little hideout and we're always made to feel welcome. Richard is a great chef and the food is well priced and delicious. Even the coffee beans are personally selected! The atmosphere is warm, friendly and comfortable. You can even bring your dog if it's well behaved. Can't recommend enough.

Dropped into the hideout purely by chance and what a delight! It’s funky yet cosy interior welcomed me into having lunch. What a find be it light snack or afternoon tea. Five stars ⭐️ all the way 😋

Been here a few times since it opened. Lovely staff. Delicious cooked breakfast, Lovely lunches and homemade cake. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely one of the best coffee shops in the area.

Despite it being in walking distance of my home, this was my first visit to this little gem of a cafe. My breakfast was of the highest calibre. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Went into the cafe with my mother in law and baby daughter. Had hot chocolate, Mocha, Chocolate Brownie and a Bakewell Tart. The cakes were homemade and lovely ! Cosy with a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Been a few times since it open and we love it. Staff are really friendly and welcome children. They have a great selection of kids books that keeps my 3yr old entertained so I can eat a meal.

Lovely little cafe. Delicious sandwich to take away at lunch time. Will definitely be going back. Might try breakfast next time. Owners kids were in as it was summer holidays, lovely family business. Decor is nice with lights hanging down. Nice addition to the little row of shops.

Pleasant staff and good coffee. Don't know about the food as I haven't eaten there. Hope this little café does well.
