Didnt eat ,just had a drink ,the landlord and the staff really friendly, and chatty ,great place with a lovely atmosphere, and one of the cheapest pubs around .well worth a visit

Excellent traditional local with Ossett White Rat plus a Merlin brewery ale as often as not. Homemade pizza reputed to be good but phone ahead to be sure they are on that evening.

Good local pub, with local people. Very clicky but bingo was good last week and very busy.

We went there after a funeral.The buffet was lovely and catered for vegetarians too.Nice little pub.

An amazing local pub. Doll and Andy the landlord/ landlady are really friendly. There is a selection of cask ales as well as a selection of gins. They have a weekly quiz on a Thursday, monthly music quiz and karaoke and periodically live music. The pub only does pizzas but they are fresh made to order, delicious and reasonably priced.

Its an English famil pub and not trying to be anything else. Beers sre cold, staff very helpful and big rugby games are shown, which for me was a bonus.

This is a nice proper pub. Only offers pizzas but they are yummy. Has a real fire that keeps you warm in the chilly weather. Great place to meet friends 😊.

I Stopped going to this pub a long time ago beer prices got too expensive it was a very good pub in its day and was always full to capacity its really funny these pubs nowadays think if they paint it gray n black that it instantly turns into a high quality gastropub and can charge lots more money but in reality winsford isn't Parkgate London so if anyone wants to celebrate a birthday or anniversary etc they go elsewhere Liverpool/Manchester/chester and winsford isn't Knutsford and never will be i believe in good quality and value for money not the pandemic rip off that is happening everywhere now
