The Lighthouse Fish and Chips in Lewisham

Comida caliente de muy buena calidad, trozos gruesos hechos a mano estaban deliciosos. ¡Pequeño era más que pequeño, en realidad más grande que algunas de las grandes porciones en otros lugares y considerando el código postal de Londres, estaba más que feliz con este lugar!

Las porciones son grandes y muy sabrosos. Me dieron el servicio regular de bacalao y mi marido fue el grande y estaba delicioso. Cod se servía de la piel en la que no nos lo esperábamos, pero era bueno. Nos dieron muchas patatas fritas con tan generosas porciones de pescado. Los guisantes blandos eran buenas y calientes.

Estado viniendo aquí durante el último par de meses, comida de calidad y un personal amable. Podía hacer con la modernización.

Oh cielos. Le aconsejo que siga caminando y pasa de este sitio. Cómo cualquier sitio puede conseguir comida tan mal es más allá de mí, pero este lugar. El pescado estaba por debajo, pasada, sin sabor las patatas fritas? Bien, no era nada como un chip que he probado nunca. El Savaloy que pedimos estaba aguada y gris. Nos shant pensaré volver.

Jody y su equipo entregaron más de 100 comidas calientes para nuestro hambre quizzers el sábado por la noche. Antes del evento me pareció Jody sea profesional y flexible, como los números cambian regularmente! En la noche apareció a tiempo, y nos ayudó a dar la comida. Fue una experiencia completamente el estrés, dado los números. Salsas y vinagre, etc.. Hay muchos elogios sobre la calidad de los peces y el hecho de que a pesar de ser muchas, la comida estaba caliente. Un gran trabajo, y no dudaría en recomendarlo.

Excellent fish and chips at a reasonable price. Excellent value for money. Great friendly service. Short trip from Harry Potter Warner Brothers. Worth the trip. Aussie chip shops should be this good

Very good fish & chips. And good sevice. But my goodness me the size of it.!!! Two people can easily share a small cod & chips. My husband & i got 1 each and had to throw half of it out!!!!! Will defiently go back but only order 1 for us to share.

If you should find yourself driving into London along the A21, visiting the famous city, or returning perhaps from Kent and the coast, or France and beyond, and if as you are approaching Lewisham you are feeling tired and hungry (and it's worth hanging on, at least until you're so ravenous that you will eat the kids if you don't have something Now!), I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you pull in by the M&S garage on Lee High Road, and find THE LIGHTHOUSE FISH AND CHIPS (across the road from the M&S garage). They serve the best chips I've had in decades, the real thing, from the old days, and my old days are pretty damn old now, when chips were chips, if you catch my meaning. The ones we had last night we're freshly cooked, and maybe that's worth holding out for, but in any case, they were lovely big, fat, crispy outside, hotbeds of potato inside. And enough in one large portion that even my tired and hungry pal could not finish them. The saveloys we chose were top quality too, so I expect the same goes for the burgers and pies and chicken they offer. Or you could stop on your way out of the city for a boost of energy for the trip!
