Beautiful place and great food. We were one big group but food came out very staged so some were left waiting quite a while while others were almost finished - which frustrated both the group and consequently the staff. Otherwise all great.

I’ve passed by this picturesque Greek restaurant many times and finally had the pleasure to try it out for myself. The service was great and the staff were incredibly welcoming. However, if the potions were smaller and prices a bit lower, we would’ve loved the opportunity to try more things on the menu. Overall, it’s a lovely spot, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering two starters and mains if you’re dining as a pair - it’s simply too much.

Amazing sharing mezze platters and Orzo!

The food and drink are great value for money, with an optional tip. Today, the restaurant was flawlessly presented, with capable staff and an exceptional manager, Yannis. I had a great experience ordering coffee and mineral water, this morning and later, I enjoyed a tasty and healthy lunch.

Visited this restaurant for the first time. Lovely premises in Store Street. Charming staff, great service. DIVINE food. My negative is...we were downstairs in a really cozy area. The stairs down to this are are unlit, and narrow. Both fire exits down there were completely blocked. No safe way out! Being that we were near the kitchen, my clothes and my friends clothes stank of oily cooking smell. My coat will need to be dry cleaned as I can't get the smell out. Even after hanging it outside overnight. I would definitely go again. But I wouldn't want to be downstairs, even though its a cute area.

Good place and better food, very pleasant atmosphere.

Booked in advance couldn’t wait to go New Year’s Eve, well it was empty but such a kool place and a warm welcome. Couldn’t find a cocktail list so asked, the waiter advised the mixologist was off that night so no cocktails! I was totally shocked and asked none at? He replied I can make a classic mojito, I thought that’s ok well well…he bought a tumbler with big blocks of ice, and about 1.5” of what looked like cloudy lemonade. I asked what is this he replied a mojito.. I replied it’s totally not what’s with the shortage of liquid, and garish etc he replied it’s a SPECIAL ONE and I won’t charge you. There is a part2 to this story I’ll let the other person, express her findings etc we left the restaurant within 10-12 mins!!! TELL YOUR STAFF TO CLOSE THE KITCHEN DOOR ALWAYS!! ;(((

The Life Goddess at Store Street has generously hosted our team festive dinners two years in a row now and it’s been incredible each time. The space is always beautifully decorated, the food has been absolutely delicious, very authentic and filling, and the service for such a big group is impressive. A special thanks to Yiannis the restaurant manager and his staff for their help with arrangements ahead of the dinner that help it all go smoothly. Really appreciate the attentiveness to detail and responsive communication which made such a difference with making sure everyone’s dietary needs and preferences are attended to. Highly recommend, such a fab experience!

Really lovely experience, delicious food.

I dined at Life goddess store road yesterday , I had a table reservation for 2 at 6pm and while the food was undoubtedly delicious, my experience was marred by appalling service. Starting with the positives, the food was delicious,the stacked aubergine dish and the lamb Kleftiko was delicious , the downside was the whole meal was rushed , with mains coming even before we had finished the starter. However, the service left much to be desired. when we asked for the desert menu we were asked to move to another table as they wanted our table for another guest . This was only an hour and 15 minutes from our allotted reservation . I made them aware that there were other couple who had arrived before us , but we were asked to move instead ! This dinner reservation was a catch up with my friend who had travelled from Mumbai and She was appalled at the hospitality offered here . I hope the management addresses these service issues, as I believe this was truly wrong and the dining experience left me with a very sour taste.

Randomly came in for lunch. Had the best greek meal of my life (and I've been traveling many times to Greek). Great wine recommended to the meal. Such friendly, warm and service oriented staff. This place is a hidden gem. Bravo!

I recently visited with a large group of work colleagues. We were seated on a large table downstairs. The staff were lovely, welcoming and attentive. The food was authentic and very nice. There is a good variety of food available and the various dishes ordered across the group all looked really good. Would definitely recommend and will return again, Thankyou. Addendum: I returned for lunch with a friend and once again was not disappointed. The restaurant was very busy but staff happily found somewhere for us to sit. I ordered the chicken and my friend ordered the beef stew. We both really enjoyed our meals and once again staff were friendly and attentive. We finished off with a Greek coffee which was lovely. Really like this restaurant, Thankyou.

Abbiamo cenato in 3 in questo accogliente ristorante che offre una gustosissima cucina greca. Bella atmosfera, personale molto gentile e attento. Ottimi gli antipasti che abbiamo condiviso. Ho particolarmente apprezzato gli involtini con le foglie di vite, lo tzatziki e il formaggio feta avvolto in una leggera sfoglia, veramente squisito. Ottimi anche gli altri piatti. Conto adeguato. Tornerei molto volentieri.

Great food and coffee. Service is friendly. They really value regular customers and make them feel special. The feta cheese thingies are superb. Nothing not to like.

It’s a really cool place with tasty Greek food, however the portions are relatively small and pricey (in Greece portions are much bigger)

Cenó aquí esta noche y quedó totalmente sorprendido. Un camarero era encantador, pero otro era muy grosero. Comida muy cara, servicio irrespetuoso. No podía tomar las sobras, terminó envuelto en una servilleta debido a preocupaciones de desperdicio de alimentos. La mesa vecina tuvo que dejar alimentos intactos debido a esta política. Me preocupaba, me daba groserías. No volveré, no lo recomiendo. Decepcionante para una empresa que promueve la sostenibilidad.

I’ve been eating here since 2016 and after the last few meals I’ve decided no more- it’s sad but the food just gets worse every time. Last night my main was a cod fillet with olives and lemons - fish rubbery and completely over cooked and the olives dominated the dish to the exclusion of any other flavour. The waiter cleared the table and didn’t bat an eyelid at my almost untouched plate and asked us no questions about how the food was. My friends were new to the place and I didn’t want to spoil their experience by complaining. There was no one from Greece in the kitchen during last night’s shift - so the dishes were “lost in translation”. For authentic Greek food there are better options. Otherwise almost anything else in store st serves better food than this.

Delicious authentic Greek food, with cheerful friendly service in a warm atmosphere. Love the courgette fritters and lemon roast chicken. Moussaka also fab! And the apple and bergamot drink was a delicious non alcoholic drink.

Went last night with my friend and the food was divine. We shared three starters and I had a glass of wine. Beautiful decor - looks like something A.I. would create if you asked for a cosy bar/restaurant/cafe - perfect place to escape to on a blustery, autumnal evening. Recommend booking as we went on a Tuesday night at 6.30pm and it filled up quickly after we were seated. The food was well presented and the flavours really popped in the mouth. I just had the house wine which was a decent red wine. I'm sure I'll be back.

Very pleasant dinner with amazing food, relaxed atmosphere and good service. Everyone was very happy with their meals.

They gave us a completely different menu at the restaurant than their live website's one. The prices were higher and most items didn't exist or were different. I had already pre-chosen the restaurant because of a specific dish and then it was a big dissapointment when it didn't exist. The food was overpriced. My friend paid about 27 pounds for a main of rissoto with mushrooms, which was not very filling. The half aubergine was fine but not worth 19 pounds.

The food quite good. When they removed our plates, they brought us the bill without asking, we didn't want desserts or coffee.

Excellent freddo cappuccino. Staff are very friendly. Relaxed environment. Vast selection of Greek wines. Outdoor seating in the sun is lovely. Would definitely recommend going for a coffee or a glass of wine!

Food was great, delicious food. This is our second time there and unfortunately service was ok, but not great. Also, you can only give tip/service charge in cash, which makes no sense in London. Never heard of that before.

Great food and atmosphere, tucked away in quiet Store Street. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious and well portioned. The interior is warm and inviting.

I’ve been here twice and have had a lovely evening plus the food has been tasty. However, both times they have overcharged us for the wine (charging us for a bottle >£20 more than we chose). The first time I assumed this was a mistake, but having happened for a second time I won’t be coming again as it feels like they are chancing their luck by deliberately overcharging for something that could be overlooked if someone didn’t pay close attention to the bill. I don’t tend to double-check my bills so it’s a shame this restaurant has made me start to do so!

Came here with my Greek friend, according to him the food is authentic. I had the seafood orzo pasta which was really good! They also sell lots of cute Greek food items eg. Biscuits, sea salt etc. Recommend this place!

Delicious food and cozy environment ! Roast chicken is so tender and yummy. The chicken soup is so comforting. Lamb shoulder is so good too. Especially surprise with the potato. I’m not a fan of potato and usually skip those in a meal and I finish them all this time ! Definitely will come back next time visiting London!

Esta es realmente una joya escondida para la comida en el medio de la calle Carnaby. El ambiente es increíble con el diseño y la música. La comida era sabrosa con la pérdida de platos y vinos griegos tradicionales. Sobre todo, la mejor parte de este restaurante es el personal. Helen y Hércules estaban fenomenales. Acogedor, muchas risas y llevando una sonrisa a la cara de todos. Personal infeccioso y súper amable. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar a cualquiera. Y de nuevo, la comida era sublime con una ensalada griega verdaderamente especial.

Un restaurante íntimo situado en una calle bastante céntrica de Londres. Tiene una cueva de Aladin de productos en su interior. Excelentes platos griegos auténticos a un precio muy razonable, especialmente por la ubicación. Personal amable y eficiente.

I've had Greek food before but this was next level. My friend who is Greek ordered for me so I'm and bruh! Everything was fire I had Giouvesti for my main and dakos as a starter and both were well seasoned, not overcooked and super delicious. I had the gigante beans (pictures not included) to go damn cleaned out the plates fam! These people can cook for real!

Very tasty food, nice atmosphere, good portions although on the expensive side. The octopus salad didn't have much octopus - we were struggling to find some tiny pieces among the potatoes.

The food and the suggested wine were fantastic. We shared the musaka, oh boy! The only problem was that they brought out the aperitif with the meal, that ok but seemed a little off. We would return and do rzcommend

The food is good, but the kitchen closes at 9.30pm. We had booked at 9pm and the choice was already limited due to the time. However this information was not clear when booking.

Delicious food, with generous portions. and decently priced as well. Everyone is super nice as well! Honestly would highly recommend, especially the goats cheese with fig jam it was absolutely incredible.

Lovely and authentic Greek food! Visited for dinner (would recommend to book as the place is not very big) and ordered Mussaka and other Greek specialties- everything was delicious! Portions are very generous. Large selection of Greek wines. Note: dog friendly- this is a big plus! Would definitely recommend and visit again.

A lovely, tasty, huge breakfast, particularly if you fancy something other than the usual English style brekkie. Authentic Greek food with masses of flavour. The restaurant is beautiful and the owner very generous, giving complimentary breads/croissants to takeaway and sit-in customers.

I was fortunately able to visit this gem of a place with some friends for an evening meal. It's a small place (although I hear there is a downstairs too which I didn't see) so it feels rather cramped, and getting to all our seats at the table was a little struggle. I loved the decor and ambience of this place. The smell as I was in was amazing. The food was top notch. I loved every bit of what I ordered (the mushroom tower was especially good). I would certainly recommend a visit if you like greek food.

I absolutely love this place. I am a great fan of Greek cuisine (who isn't), and I go there just to get away from the work stress. They're always amazing and have fantastic food. It's a bit tempting to be surrounded by all the Greek cookies and pastries (they sell brought straight from Thessaloniki).

This is a very pretty restaurant in a lovely street. We came for a dinner on Mother's Day on the back of a friend's recommendation, but in all honesty the evening was a slight disappointment. The restaurant was very quiet, even though it was quite early when we arrived (6:15), so there wasn't a great deal of atmosphere. The food was quite good, although several options on the menu weren't actually available. The service was adequate, but not terrific. We had to wait a while for food and for reasons that are beyond me, the kitchen seemed to close at 7:30, which means anyone coming for a slightly later dinner would have been disappointed. In all, the dinner experience was a perfectly respectable one but didn't live up to expectations.

The place exudes a tight-knit, homey atmosphere, an absolute perfection. Although the gamilafo appeared bland, it was surprisingly mind-blowing, coupled with a fascinating history lesson about its traditional presence at weddings. The lamb was exquisitely tender and expertly cooked. The prawns surpassed all expectations, the best I've ever had. However, the sauce could benefit from more prawns and a side of proper bread; it had a reminiscent taste of soda bread.

This place is amazing. We called up around 5pm on a Wednesday to see if they could fit 14 of us that night, which then grew to 18! They even allowed us to split the bill at the end (we were meeting after a work conference and some people had travelled very far and so were able to claim back meals, if they had receipts). They were very accommodating and took our large party in their stride. The service was phenomenal, so friendly and relaxed. They asked if 1 person could be in charge of getting everyone elses food orders, so we got out a pen and paper and passed that around. We were in the downstairs room so it was a bit cozy but nice to have a private area to ourselves. The food was amazing, I got the lamb and lemon risotto and it was heavenly. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals too. They have a very good drink list and I thought everything was reasonable for the quality and being in central London. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, delicious food in a lovely relaxed atmosphere! A great choice for work lunch - we all said we wanted to eat here every day, and there were plenty of options for vegetarian, vegan, and meat eaters alike. The serving sizes are huge though, and food waste makes me a bit uncomfortable, so I would only be back if they offered take-away of uneaten food.

The menu offered was much cut down from that on the website. The moussaka was the best that I have had in a resturant; the kleftiko was good, apparently. My aubergine starter lacked half of the stated ingredients, was not of restaurant quality, and was absurdly overpriced for what it was. The wines were ridiculously expensive. Poor value. Will not return.

Nice place to go for a special evening. Feel like the veggie options are poor (only 2 in the main) and very overpriced for small portions. Nearly £20 for 1/4 slice of aubergine for a main with a few mouthfuls of lettuce.

What a gem this place is! Came in on a Sunday afternoon, had seabass, greek salad, a few other appetizers and a bottle of Theopetra Estate Cabernet. Having lived in California for years, learned one or two things about wine and I can say for the very least this bottle is under-rated. A civilization that has been making wines for centuries… just did not excel in marketing what they do as much as French and Americans… Coming from a Turkish ;) The owner is a fine gentleman from Greece who have generously offered us a bottle of complimentary cold-pressed olive oil and a bottle of authentic kalamata olives. Greek hospitality at its best in the middle of London!

The meat in the seafood risotto was fresher than many restaurants.

This restaurant serves absolutely fantastic authentic Greek food in a wonderful friendly and intimate atmosphere. I had a bowl of olives as a starter. They were the best I’ve ever had served in London and included marinated garlic and sun dried tomatoes. Each day there are several specials. I had a stuffed aubergines topped with a thick layer of toasted feta… sublime. The whole place is lit with candles perched atop wooden tables thick with wax. The glow from them feels wonderful. This is a truly amazing restaurant I thoroughly recommend it.

The best Greek food I’ve had outside of Greece. The humus was so good even my 5 year old took a minute to appreciate it. The main courses were absolutely amazing. I will definitely be coming back!

I used to come here over 8-10 years ago, and I finally dropped by today after all that time. To my delight, I wasn't disappointed. The service was kind and gave great recommendations, and the kleftiko was seriously delicious. I'm not waiting another decade to come back. If you're around and craving a good, hearty lunch, this spot's got you covered!

The food at this restaurant is heavenly. Everything we tried was perfect and made us feel like we were back in Greece! The team was also great with accommodating my food allergies. Definitely come early or make a reservation - it’s a small space!

Food was tasty, though my dislike of fresh tomatoes leads to desire for less of them in salads. Table bread was fresh. Service was friendly. Kitchen opens around noon I think.
