Had a meal with friends lovely food great atmosphere friendly staff what more could you want.

Nice quiet friendly pub with new owners

Live music! Folk music! Great venue. 17/10 Where has the folk music gone? Where have the customers gone? Where is the atmosphere gone? Where have the good staff gone? All of a sudden there is nobody here with passion for the business and little beer to sell!

Advertise selling food on social media the same day. Go there, board up outside saying they have 2 kitchens, 1 inside and out. Go in and menus on table, got to order and say the kitchen is not open today!

Fabulous venue , pub and eating place 👍💞

Really lovely pub , only thing is when we go there for a drink we have on some occasions asked for cocktails and shots and no one seems to know how to make any of them apart from 1 time when we was lucky enough someome got called down from somewhere to make them. It seems to me the same 2 people that haven't known how to make them for like a month or more now.

Good selection of cocktails but No one in the pub knows how to make them. Manager should train the staff before leaving them behind the bar on their own .

What a little gem. We weren't quite sure how to take this place from the outside when we arrived but it appeared recently refurbished and the Sunday Roast was truly wonderful. We had a great meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the meal. It was a very pleasing find. A point for improvement would be to get baby changing facilities. But it is a challenge in an old style of pub. We would revisit for sure. Thank you.

An absolute diamond of an establishment in Irthlingborough. Staff are really friendly and the food was at a standard you'd expect in Restaurants in London. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Friendly staff. Clean venue. Excellent value they have a premonition on. Only criticism is the food that was very good was served on a cold plate, causing the food to cool quickly. Nice place that I will frequent again soon hopefully.

So been here a few times . First time very nice ,clean and quick service . Could tell the person serving wasn't interested in talking . Food was nice ,nothing special . Chicken wings where generic chip shop batter ones some sauce on . Came back a second time ,will not be going again . Full of local drunks and people with no volume control . Walked in to the bar was told to take a seat and someone will take our order . No way to fill out check and trace . Taking a seat was a mistake ! 20 minute go by no service just been ignored. Went back to the bar and was told we had to sit down and someone will serve us . 5 minute later . Waitress comes over with "what can I get ya " ,didn't know what was on tap or in bottles . Drinks did come out pretty quick . .Rather awkward when they have to go back to get the card machine each time instead of bringing it with them .To get another drink or some form of service it was like the crystal maze ! To get food ,made eye contact plenty of times ,waved at the waitress/waiter and nothing ,ended up going up to one of them at a serving hatch to order to be told to sit down again ,for her to finish her conversation and come over when she felt like it . So 40 minute wait for a burnt pizza and halloumi gyros . Halloumi was so over cooked it squeeked and had the texture of a cheap frying steak . Will not be returning . Will stick to drinking at the Artlenock and ordering a takeaway .

Place was empty took long time for two plates of chips to come out. Menu needs also need normal pub grub meals all fancy mix of choices baws

Lovely pub and garden. Surprised that 17year olds accompanied by their parents have to leave at 19:30 . Would of had a meal each had we got enough time but made do with sharing a plate of fries between us.Thought we had until 9pm with under 18's.

Bardzo fajny pub z przyjemną atmosferą, wygląda on na pierwszy rzut oka na pub dla motocyklistów lecz nawet jeżeli taki typ jest w środku to są ony zazwyczaj mili i przyjaźni dlatego też to miejsce jak najbardziej jest odpowiednie dla dzieci. Dania i napoje alkoholowe i bezalkoholowe trzymają poziom. Jedyne na co mogę się poskarżyć to zapach papierosów oraz nie za wysoki poziom czystości.

The Brit has been through many owners and tenants. For an old biker pub in the middle of nowhere it still retains an authentic feel. It's rough. It's vaguely familiar. They have open mike in a Tuesday and rock on Fridays and Saturdays. Want to see a proper working man's pub in action then this is as close as you'll get any time soon. No food. Chippy up the road. Now. I just learnt it is closing soon. Another community pub bites the dust. Sorry to see y'all go. Say bye to Saxon, the biggest pub dog you'll likely see any time soon. And he likes to sing to harmonicas too!

What a great pub. Just another one of the fine venues for The Underdogs, on their never ending "where's the nearest lamppost" tour. Great atmosphere and very friendly locals, full of enthusiasm for live music. Good range of well kept drinks either on tap or from the bottle. Also wins hands down for having the best 'pub dog' ever, as the photos will prove.

This is a biker, rock music pub. Great live music, good choice of real ale, great friendly smoke area outside and heated. Had some great nights over many years.
