Fantastic food and service. Attention to the decor diners see is needed! Cobwebs and dead flys in summer heating appliances needed.

As always we had a fantastic meal out at Bills, tonight we had our meal in one of the out side pods. Fantastic meal and the drinks kept coming, service was first class and Rosie and the team went the extra mile to make sure we had a great meal out. Thank you to all the staff for making the night entertaining and a special thanks to Rosie for her first class service, for entertaining us with her Christmas Singing and for making the evening so special 🤗

Came for a valentines meal with partner. We were seated quickly and the waitress was attentive. We had been told by one member of staff that we couldn't get a normal meal from the menu but we asked our waitress and this was allowed. The meal was pretty good and we got a blue light discount which took off 20percent. The bill came and I had forgot that they do a service charge which was 7 pounds odd. I don't like this as I always tip anyway, but I tipped on top to round it up.

Five stars—just don’t ask me how much I ate.

Food was good but menu choice needs work

Pancakes were weirdly dry and undercooked. The matcha latte was nice but came in a cheap horrid plastic cup. The biggest breakfast on the menu still only comes with 1 sausage!, and also pickled onions do not belong on full English. Asked for more syrup, which came in a jug that was so sticky and unclean that syrup was glogged in opening so couldn't get anyone. Don't waste your money and just go somewhere cheaper.

Went during a quiet morning, but staff welcoming and attentive.

We had a birthday meal here a few days ago, the service was beyond terrible, over an hour before food orders were taken and then took another hour for food to arrive. Coupled with this two days later 80% of our party have been ill and no one else not at the dinner has been effected. messaged the chain to make a complaint and no response, which matches the service time arguably. Very poor, sad as the place looks awesome, but a massive let down.

We regularly enjoy an all day breakfast at bills for its excellent food and service. Noticed one day that they offer bottomless pancakes (which are one of my daughters favourite things) so we booked for it and took her only to find they were out of pancake ingredients. You might think this is bad but the service they offered turned it from a bad review to good. They arranged for ingredients to be collected and my daughter got her pancakes. Fantastic food and experience every time

Bills gets better and better!! Great food as always, 20% off all day, every day, with Blue Light Card... and a free bottle of Prosecco for my birthday!! What more could you ask for. We'll be back.. again and again! 😃

Had a lovely date night, very peaceful to go on a Monday night, which gave a very intimate and cosy atmosphere, we ordered the BBQ Bourbon Burger & the Buttermilk Chicken Burger which were both delicious. Plus, we were served by Danika (according to our receipt), who gave very friendly and bubbly service. Worth all of the 12.5% service charge and more! Will definitely come back for another date night.

Cold chips and funeral march slow bar service. Food arrived before drinks. Had to ask for drinks for them to arrive few minutes later. Chips were luke warm and steak wasn’t cooked as asked. Was busy but luke warm food, undercooked steak and ridiculously slow bar service isnt what id expect. Not great when u go out for a couples meal but due to poor showing u basically end up eating om your own

I like going to Bills. I've been going for many years. I don't know if we just caught them at a busy phase, but the table wasn't wiped down when we were seated and the floor underneath the table was full of food debris which was slightly off putting! Other than that, the food was served quickly, hot and tasty.

Undercooked burger. All other food was ok, but out 15yr old daughters burger that was ordered well cooked was very poor.

The last time we went we were near the door and it was cold. This time we were down the far end and it was cold. Sat in our coats to eat. The burger for our 15yr old was badly undercooked. It was ordered well done. The answer given was “our burgers do come out a bit longer than others”.

I had avocado, poached egg on sour dough and it was nice , one of the eggs was hard. My party arrived at 1pm and I got there about 1.15, food was not served till 2pm despite having pre ordered, some of us had to leave to do the school run, I said to the manager we have been here an hour and we are still waiting for food, he said no you havent! Not great customer service, some of us habnt even been asked about a drink!

Quick service, good quality for the price, lovely breakfast and brunch, lots of options. Very polite and happy members of staff.

Great food and loved the drinks - can recommend raspberry and pomegranate lemonade

This was our second visit to Bill's, but although the food was nice this time, I just felt the service this time let our experience down a little. We were interrupted by staff while having a conversation a couple of times, and our food was left on the serving hatch while staff were talking and laughing.

A delightful place to go. I had the pleasure to be served by Joe. He was super patient with kids, very organised and we were really impressed by his hospitality and speed. Me and my family didn’t see such a service in a long time. Being kind means a lot for customers. Food was good, went for classic burgers 🍔 next time we wanna go inside as is beautiful clean and interesting design. ❤️ going back soon

Extremely slow service, felt like we were forgotten , had to repeatedly ask for the bill for 30mins . Server went home whilst promising to get our bill leaving us waiting with no explanation

1. Steak was luke warm, asked for medium rare, got part medium, part well done, part rare, clearly not cooked properly 2. Truffle jus was not the consistency it should of been and wine was not cooked off properly. 3. Attendant was great though

when I wanted to pay the bill I found out that cash is not accepted, just card payments. What should to be announced us a first! . and what if I didn't have my card with me? CASH IS A LEGAL MEANS OF PAYMENTS! People, do something about it and don't allow yourselves to be enslaved.!! Big no, no. My first and last time in Bills. Thank you !

Typical plastic chain cafe/pub with food to match, staff friendly though, but a bit overstretched.

Always a good service with great food

I want to give service higher . We love it here and know sometimes best to book but went on the if chance as had a meeting over lunch however I felt sick and dizzy (menopause) sat outside waiting but was getting worse asked the lady for an apple juice explained as was not seated at all .. she brought me out a drink and kept checking on me .. we were then seated and had a lovely lunch .. all fresh and tasty as always .. drank a gallon of apple juice .. and the lady still kept checking on me .. thank you so much bills xxxx

Fantastic experience here at Bills for my birthday! Amazing food and atmosphere! The service was second to none, Evan was absolutely awesome, very attentive and had us laughing constantly! Really lovely guy. A credit to you! Thankyou for a wonderful time here, we will be back 😄

A relaxing brunch for a break from Christmas shopping

The restaurant wasn't full and it seemed like there were enough staff to not have to wait for 30 minutes to be even asked for our drinks order. My raspberry gin spritz was somehow tasteless and strong at the same time. The food was OK, but not worth the money and parts of it seemed to have been microwaved.

Avoid at all costs , bland and overcooked food , and seriously overpriced , too many tables , felt claustrophobic, staff rushed off there feet , and then they try to sting you for a service charge which I declined ,

Had a lovely dinner this evening. Joined with great company, the food was wonderful and less couldn’t be said about the service! We had the most friendly waitress, Niamh. She was such a great help with the menu and an all round lovely girl.

Great place to grab a bite to eat and get a drink after a hard day's shopping, great atmosphere and great staff, attentive without being in the way, definitely recommend.

Only popped in for a swift beer while kids at 1 star crappy flip out. Beer range is minimal, If you don't like peroni you're out of luck, and it's nearly 8 quid, which considering this is grotty northants not London west end is a bit bizarre! Staff polite and efficient though, which boosted this from a 1 to 3 star review! Couldn't comment on the food, people seemed happy, maybe they just come for food and coffee

Just had a great brunch at Bills Rushden Lakes. Bottomless pancakes were so delicious (we had fruit, biscoff and chocolate) Niamh was great at serving us! Thanks so much for the recommendations Niamh and for finding us after we left our takeaway pancakes on the table!!

I went to Bills in Rushden Lakes to try it ahead of the opening in Milton Keynes. I have to say I wasn't impressed. Our drinks were delivered after asking a few times just before the end of our meal. I wasn't offered sauces when my food was delivered. We were never asked how our food was. My friend had a dog with her and your dog menu was expensive and just bags of training snacks. We then went to Lounges after and got her some scrambled eggs. To add insult to injury for 2 of us we were charged 12.5 % service charge. To charge that your service should be top service. Won't be back

Chicken beautifully cooked, crispy and juicy, best part by a mile. Chips were cold, below Luke warm Sauce was nice but the flavours of the burger were quite bland. Staff, very quick and friendly! 12.5% service charge for two people is a bit daft!

If you want to pay £9.50 for a double vodka and coke, then it's great . I personally did not expect to be paying £30 for 3 drinks. I was not happy, to say the least. Staff super friendly

Came for lunch around 1 PM, all the food places were busy only place’s available to sit were outside. They provide blankets which is nice. Waiting time to see staff for orders and then getting food was awful to be fair very long waiting time, food was cold but we didn’t ‘complain’ cause we were that hungry and waited for the food for ever already. Starters came with main and for dessert we had to wait further 20 min maybe? Just to put cake on a plate…Had kid’s pancakes- disappointed cause they were very hard and gummy. Chips were less than warm, portions were alright. Staff was not checking in how we doing or if we need anything else but still upped bill by 12.5% of tip for absolute basic delayed service. I understand they get busy but they know when they will be busy so should get more staff for that times.

I have only one question??? WHY is a SERVICE CHARGE a COMPULSORY ITEM??? I am a pensioner and a widower who is living on a budget. Good service? Then leaving a tip on the table is OPTIONAL!!!! But NOT a compulsory one.

Great service here from Evan on 8th October when my partner and I popped in for my birthday lunch. Thank you to the member of staff who took care of dietary requirements and got in what was needed in advance. Will definitely be back soon!

The Team at Bill's were first class in, not only taking a booking for 14, but for the care, preparation and service they had shown, once they found out it was after a family Wedding for my Partner's Daughter and Son-in-law Lorna and Ed. Our Server, a lovely Lady named Rosie, couldn't be more helpful. Not only did She and the Team prepare the table, but procured balloons, a celebration card and bottle of fizz for our happy couple. First class effort, thank you so much Rosie and Team Bill. We will be back.

What a wonderful evening we had!! The staff were all polite and friendly. Lovely food and great value. Our server dealt with a tricky customer who was sitting near us and couldn’t have been more polite despite the rudeness and the threat of reporting him to head office. I wouldn’t hesitate in visiting again.

I normally like this place I went last Friday with friends and ordered a bunless burger not good.

Avoid at all costs if you have allergies. My mum went to eat there on her birthday and she specifically told them about the two allergies she has, an hour later she was being taken to A&E by ambulance after two adrenaline shots from paramedics. She didn’t go or eat anything in between. Luckily she made a full recovery in the hospital and the way Bill’s dealt with this situation is absolutely shocking. They said they have an external company who ‘investigated’ the incident, no one called us to ask what happened, no CCTV was reviewed, they didn’t even know my mums name when they wrote to us to say they’ve completed their ‘investigation’, and of course they didn’t know any of the details. Absolutely shocking this happens nowadays and I will continue to spread the word about what has happened to us and how Bill’s treated us. Beware if you have any allergies and eat there

Review update September 2024. This restaurant is now cashless. I do not support cashless establishments in today's society. Service was slow. No seating allowed outside until 10am due to staff shortages apparently. The food was very dry with over cooked chicken. Sauces are sparse and I had to ask twice for some. I feel the evening menu prices arnt worth it after the latest menu change. Very dirty outside chair cushions. Rubbish around the back of the restaurant. The menu is different from breakfast to lunch and evening. All of the menus can be seen clearly online. Lots of seating areas both inside and outside, but can get busy especially in the summer so online booking is advised.. They currently have outdoor seating pods for winter outdoor dining. Saying that most of the outdoor area is still covered. You can sit outside with your dog if the dog is well behaved.. The doughnut dessert with chocolate sauce is delicious.. My only negative would be that the cocktails arnt worth the money.

Came here for breakfast and had the breakfast burger (not on their online menu but is instore) - sausage patty, bacon, egg, spinach and cheese sauce. Unfortunately, the burger had no taste. The patty was flavourless, the cheese sauce didn't taste like cheese, it was very bland. This brunch comes with fries, would be good to have an alternative if you're having brunch at 10am like I was 😄 The portion sizes are good however and I can't fault the service as it was pretty busy! The restaurant is really nice, well decorated but this is Bills thing so can't fault that either!

Very unfortunate experience for myself and family today. Started with a 20 minute wait for anyone to even take our order on what seemed a quiet operational day. People had been sat down 10 minutes after us and were being served and had recieved drinks and a main meal before we had even got our drinks. Even their dog was given water and a cake on arrival! This was then followed by a drink being poured all over myself once we were finally served and no apology to be seen by the waiting staff. We had ordered a sharing meal for three people and they brought only 2 plates. Once we asked for another plate, a completely dirty dish was then given which was sent back immediately. Thankfully they came back with 3 glasses of piss warm water to make up for the disappointment of an experience recieved so far. We were then asked if we wanted to pour the water back into the jug so they could just put ice in the already warm water. By this point we just got up and left. Pitiful

Go to Lago Lounge instead. This place is great if you want your existence to be ignored by the people that work there.

This is now our go-to place for lunch when visiting Rushden Lakes, especially if you’re able to get a table outside. Best book to guarantee a table outside though. For choice it’s great, especially for a coeliac who needs gluten free options.

We went for brunch on a warm late-morning. We sat outside with views of the lake. Service and food both great. Varied menu and good price. Pancakes are huge.

Disappointing! Music to lound, even after asking them to lower the volume. Then asking for a twenty pound service charge, of which we refused to pay. You won't be seeing us again.

Food was good as expected, burger was good, side portions very small though. Team friendly and helpful, though seemed busy, food took much longer to come once ordered or ready. About 40 minutes for mains to come, which is more than usual for our local branch. Atmosphere was nice, inside and outside dining.

Lovely place to eat, very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere can feel a bit cramped depending on where you sit but really it's a great place to go for a meal, I'll be going until it stops opening its doors.
