Decent micro pub, nice choice of keg and cask with vgn friendly choices, had a folk band on during my all to brief visit and was wonderful, gotta return when I have more time. Updated tonight, Sep 23 and it seems such a different place now, really not for me, the decent beers have gone, the bar tender on her phone for ages before realising I would love to be served was a winner too, musician talking about BJ's was classy. Not a micropub imho on the way I understand them..

Thankfully reopened after the pandemic, which closed so many great pubs. Friendly, cosy and with a range of good ales, this pub is a gem. Popped in after work and was served by Zico, just great to have a decent pint and a chat. Worth visiting. M

Brilliant,popped in with pals from work on our derby tour,sue was ace as we're the regular chaps..we were allowed to strum a guitar for which our team Strummer did rather well...Great beers..Will be back...cool pub.

Great micro pub with live music on a Friday. We saw the Ogres Hummingbird play.. who were great.

Visited Saturday 28th January 2023, late afternoon/early evening. Visited before, but it was many years ago, glad to see it reopen after COVID and with the original owners. Very quiet; however, they normally have live music, we just happened to visit when they didn't, with music on its much busier. Quite small inside but plenty of seating alongside a small but covered outside area. Beer choice is pretty good with 4 cask alongside craft beer on keg and lager, there's also spirits with some excellent whisky. The guy behind the bar, Zico, I believe, is outstanding, polite, helpful and friendly, he has a really approachable and calm demeanor, he's going to do well. Kind of the wrong side of town for us, but we'll be back.

Good to see them back after Christmas, always impressed by the atmosphere and their selection, my other half gets a cask beer he enjoys and I get my favourite cider!

Definitely a town centre booze, live music a bit overpowering in the small bar area.

The Last Post is certainly one of the smallest pubs I've ever been to (though not quite as tiny as the Pump It Up in Belper): You get about 10 people in there and it's packed! But the place oozes community atmosphere, and you'll get into talking with other patrons immediately. At least that was my own experience, and I'm a rather shy, reserved person. The selection of drinks is also excellent: a fair number of hand pumps, and, more importantly, they offer real ales from smaller breweries, and the not usual, jaded Doom Bar or Pedigree. Lovely, helpful barman, too. The range of single malt whiskies outshines that of many much larger establishments. And, even in a place for just ten people, The Last Post offers live music! Highly recommended real ale micro for Derby, even if it's a bit off the beaten track.

Great little micropub situated on a busy corner. Well kept ales, great selection of whiskies and very friendly landlord. Worth a detour if you're in Derby.

Very small micro brewery pub. Thursday night is solo guitarist night & its nice to be able to sing along if you want to. Very safe pub for females.

Great little micropub. Everyone was super friendly, fun liv music too (every Thurs, Fri, and Sat). This is clearly a labour of love and it shows. It was my first time but will definitely be back!
