Love coming here when passing through. One of my faves places. You pay more. But worth every penny. Quality and quantity exceptional. My partner had the bacon muffin. Perfect. I had the crispy chicken. With bacon sweet chilli sauce mayo. Beautiful and ample. Chocolate and orange ganache buns scrummy. Staff also lovely.

Having visited a number of times now, I’m never let down. Whether it’s a sandwich, pastry, cake or one of their varying specials it is always made with quality ingredients by someone who cares. The place is always immaculately clean and when deciding to eat in, we are always incredibly well looked after. I just wish I could go everyday!

Called in here while passing through. We weren't intending to buy lunch but were caught by the food in the window. Daughter had sausage roll (apparently the best ever), I was impressed with Cajun chicken (cajun-y enough but not too much so you could still taste the chicken). Husband more than happy with the massive quantity of salad in his sandwich. We would have bought cake too alif we hadn't been going out for dinner later.

The Larder has changed hands and is now a coffee shop with seating, but they still do takeaway food. I ordered a tray of sandwiches for someone's birthday at work. They were very accommodating and had a good selection. All freshly made. I work with some picky eaters but they all enjoyed them. I have been back for sandwiches since and so have some of my workmates. Would recommend. I haven't had coffee but it smells really nice and they do a nice selection of cakes as well.

So much selection of tasty food here & the Bakewell tart is one of the best we’ve had! Baby changing too, just a little on the small side unfortunately, wish it was bigger

Ordered a jacket potato with coronation chicken, nearly fell through the floor when they told me it was £7! I then proceeded to wait 20 minutes to then be presented with a microwaved potato with warm fried chicken and a dollop of sauce on top! When paying that price I expect a much higher quality product. Never again.

First time in this delicatessen cafe its was a really nice welcome warm and cosy atmosphere ace chairs nice food good today's specials loads of staff. So I went for the turkey stuffing pigs in blankets cranberry sauce sandwich and lentil and bacon soup, oh and a latte. I had a little wait for my order but got my latte straight away on a bit of wood cool. They didn't seem to have one person sorting the order as they had to ask which soup it was again and then the sandwich was ready then the soup was waiting. But I got them soup was excellent on a bit of wood cool! The sandwich had bacon sausage stuffing cranberry sauce but no turkey in it, it also had thin flat lettuce in it which in all honesty didn't fit right in the sand which. I mentioned this they sorted it out I got some turkey and a cake fir my inconvenience which was great. I'm going again Brill might take the wife lol. Please like my review if it helps.

Dreadful place. The woman who owns it was verbally abusive and physically assaulted me when I complained. Threw us out because we didn't like it. I felt that it was because my partner is black or because they don't like gay people. Had a good mind to call the police. Food is over priced and average at best, staff are slow and rude. DISGUSTING.

A small deli on the Main Street with a nice variety of sandwiches. Most feature rotisserie and even Yorkshire cheeses. An ideal spot to lunch if you’ve bike down the tow path from Hebden Bridge.

The Staff are rude and ignorant and the MANAGER was RACIST and disgusting the place was dirty and the food was uneatable. I came here with my friend to grab a small lunch looked like a nice little place anyway I picked out the food I was getting sat down and began to eat I spat the food straight out it was definitely not in date and I went fraught to the till to speak to the staff but the staff was too busy on their phone so I called them and they said “hold on!” In a rude tone when they finally came over I asked to speak to manager because I was not happpy with the food or their food and when the manager came and when I asked for my money back “she gave me £5 which is not what I paid I paid £10 for me and my friend and they told me to “get the f@&@ out you n£&ger;” and threw my sandwich at the door. DISGUSTING, I reported them to the police and the police said there was nothing they could do with the situation other than get a full refund which I did I would not EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!!

Been twice now for breakfast and both times the food and coffee was fantastic. We ordered the poached eggs on sourdough with avocado, feta and sundried tomatoes. A friend had recommended this dish and she was right - one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The bacon sandwich was perfect too. We've also had many take-outs from here as we work nearby and it's always good - the haloumi special baguettes in particular are outstanding. The staff here are helpful and efficient and happy to accommodate our special requests (like making the coffee extra extra strong as we like it that way). The decor is very pleasant with nice little touches. Homemade cakes are fantastic (the chocolate caramel brownie - wow!). Local deli products to buy. Great playlist. A very welcome addition to Sowerby Bridge.

The Larder has come to Sowerby Bridge. Thought we would give it a go. Although food ordered was tasty, there could have been more for the price. Salad with a hummus dip could benefit from a chunk of crusty bread. Coffee was good. Home made soup was tasty too and the filling in the sandwich was more than sufficient.

We used the larder delicatesen to provide food for a family gathering/wedding anniversary. We ordered hungarian goulash for 20 people... the portions were great and food taste was brilliant. We will certainly use this place again and definitely reccomend.

Used to visit almost daily when under previous management. Don't now due to young staff gossiping and stirring up about customer. Rang owner to complain & also make him aware of the damage his staff were causing, but it's his daughter spreading gossip so I was told where to go and had the phone slammed down on me.

Well I've tried to like it, but the new owners really don't do it for me. I've tried various options from Jaffa Cake cookies, which were nothing special, looked forward to the Thai curry, again I was disappointed as it lacked depth of flavour, to a roast beef sandwich which although had plenty of filling, the meat was tough and stringy. It's not cheap so I would expect better quality. Really, really wanted to give good feedback but I'm just so disappointed that my favourite deli has become decidedly mediocre.

Lovely welcoming pub with great food and a warm atmosphere. Recently changed hands and the new landlords have brought with them super friendly staff, permanently lit fires and (so far anyway), fab menus. …Traditional pub food but elevated with added twists and nice presentation. Really enjoyed our three visits so far (once for a couple of pints and twice for food) and will definitely be back. Beautiful walks on the doorstep too.

Stopped off for Burritos before the cinema, and really enjoyed the food. Would strongly recommend the beef burrito and loaded fries! Generous helpings and good prices. I look forward to coming back to try the jalapeño poppers!

Disappointing food. Had the haddock and there was a very small piece of fish in a soup of Hollandaise sauce. Half of the mains were not available.

Came for new years and although the food was very nice, I felt the service was lacking, especially in comparison with 22 the square in CrossHills. We had meatballs and creamy mushrooms to start. Both were delicious. Followed by two pasta dishes- one carbonara, one mushroom pasta. The food was really lovely. We did need to ask for things a few times e.g water and cocktails. And it didnt feel the staff are as friendly as its Crosshills counterpart.
