Had iftari there. Alot of dishes according to price. And seperate iftar table as well. Mango lassi, meat karahi, haleem and gulab jamun was a hit. Tuesday to thursday Adult £15.99 Kids £9.99

Fantastic atmosphere and service. The buffet had plenty of variety and the food topped up fresh regular. Friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be coming back

First time at Babar Khan Restaurant, and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered the Tawa for 4 everything tasted fresh and delicious, with generous portions. Also got a Pizza, but had to take it home because the Tawa was more than enough! Service was exceptional from start to finish. Aunty at the front is an absolute gem, she knows exactly how to make customers feel welcome. Having worked in customer service & complaints for 10 years myself, I’ve done plenty of workshops on great service, and she absolutely nailed it. 10/10 highly recommend!

I would like to share my delight regarding the food at barber khan halifax buetifull food the sister and staff brilliant service briliant .very kind a polite the ladie behind the counter and the staff 10 out 10 for the service the food and the place we'll done will definatleybe back again and definatley recommend to family & freinds .💯

Food was good waiter were good but management set up was poor. You have tawa with grillled food but you won’t get sauces. You have to buy them separately! A no brainer bad business skills. They won’t add cost of sauces to tawa to keep tawa price attractive! Really it’s not small tub of chutney only is £2 extra. Forget chili sauce.

We went there recently food was okay but quality and quantity was rubbish and in other words nothing is free as they even charged for sauces as well so not recommending this place. Location is award as well.

Was very nice staff did not really communicate with us or tell us when we could go for main or how it works for are first time tbh but was polite when we spoke to them x

We where really looking forward to our Xmas do here and we did enjoy it we had payed everything up front apart from the alcohol charge.The food was good and restaurant clean.Was shocked to find we had to pay for tap water and other items that we hadn't asked for but they brought to the table.Another £70 on top of what we had already payed made it stressful which we where trying to avoid.

Food was good one dish I didn't find appealing so that makes it 4 stars for food but overall all the other dishes were quite good and I would come again. I'm not sure what all the other reviews mean but all that they've said is untrue and a lie because the service was very good there were no rude people at all or uncooked food like they said poppadoms were perfectly cooked and not soggy like some reviews have stated.

10/10 got the tawa for four and everything on the tawa was lovely and coked to perfection and the service was great would definitely recommend.

Nice venue with parking. The food was plentiful in the Tawa and tasty. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves as a family and generally a nice family atmosphere. For us, the menu worked out better financially than the buffet.

Went out with extended family for meal at Babar Khan Restaurant yesterday. We ordered the tawa platter the food was piping hot and tasty can't fault it. All the guest throughly enjoyed the meal. Big thank you to Junior Babar Khan and his team for making the evening memorable. Highly recommended. Would definitely visit again in future.

What a great place! This was our first visit to Babar Khans. Previously we only ever ate at Aakash in Cleckheaton if we wanted top notch Indian food. However since it closed it's doors we have been looking for somewhere to replace the buffet style eating we enjoyed there. Lanika, on Pellon Lane, was a good alternative to Aakash. Now we have been fortunate enough to find Babar Khans which is a different atmosphere to Lanika, a better (for us) booth style seating so there is a little more privacy to talk whilst eating. The variety of dishes is very good, well presented and tasty. Certainly somewhere that we will be eating again.

Not worth at all. Don't waste your money

The culinary offerings are remarkable, and the ambiance enhances the overall enjoyment of the meal. However, when opting for delivery, certain discrepancies arise. The portion sizes tend to be modest, although the quality of the food remains commendable. Additionally, I encountered an instance where a can of Coca-Cola, priced at £2.00, was substituted with a generic brand commonly found in local stores for a mere 50p. Considering these factors, I would strongly recommend visiting the establishment in person rather than relying on delivery services.

Organised a wedding reception at Babar Khan. The food was amazing and the team could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend the restaurant for dining and events. It is a lovely location at Dean Clough Mills and provides authentic food and a warm family welcome.

Nice staff, but not the best of food to hot and spicy over priced

Ordered a tava for two, as the photo it looked very tasty however the meat and fish were of a low grade…only identifiable once in your mouth due to the masala coating. The accompanying sauces were sparse and watery On the plus side you can bring your own beers and masala was tasty

Awful nasty jealous narcissist woman with no customer service skills tried to snatch 2 small slices of pizza out of my 2 year old daughters hands even after we offered to pay for it. NEVER GO HERE. NOT child or white people friendly. Racist horrible woman.

A disappointing night, guests arguing with staff, threats from the chef to close, music turned off and a lack of food (buffet). We should have asked for a reduction on the bill , it wasn't offered. Won't be going back in a hurry 🙃

On entering, greeted by a waiter who barely understood basic English. Sat down and the waiter came over with a pen and paper straight away before I’ve even opened the menu. Was told that it’s only buffet tonight because there was a party on but they do Ala carte every night aswell. I ordered a curry and was told that I need to get a naan bread with it, I replied I didn’t want a naan bread and the waiter said a further 2 times that I need one, thought this was quite rude- telling me what I need to order(wasn’t a suggestion). Food tasted good but wasn’t even hot, was rushed- seemed like it came from the buffet. Took only 10 minutes to receive 2 full meals.

A nice place for an Indian/Pakistani food. We didn't go for the buffet as our friends visited before and didn't like buffet. We ordered starters and lamb karahi, and it was decent food and service. We will definitely go again if we're in the area again.

Reading some of the previous reviews I noted some that didn’t feel to sit right in my opinion. The vast majority of reviews are positive yet there were some odd ones out there that were very harsh. I dined there this evening and my overall impression was positive. I was greeted by a young man, very pleasant and polite. I ordered my food which was onion bhaji and then for my main a lamb bhuna, pilau rice and chapati. All were excellent and made fresh. The restaurant was very quiet, clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend and would also return

Disappointing We tried to order by phoning the restaurant but were told we had to use Uber Eats. We were unable to find Poppadoms or Chipatties on the Uber site which we all wanted. The food arrived in the time frame given but was all only luke warm. All the main dishes were very tasty but all the sides were disappointing - brown Pilau Rice - ???? Wouldn't use again.

Okay so the lady who served us had no customer service skills, she kept interrupting and every 2 minutes kept saying can you make space can you make space when clearly the other waiter had made space, she then gave us water and took away the glasses and did not return with any glasses… once the tava had been served we realised she had taken away the cutlery and she wanted us to eat out of our starter plates… once again did not give us fresh clean plates. When we asked about dessert cakes she said look at the menu, not happy with the service at all, when the guy at the pay in desk asked how it was and I explained he said it was just protocol that she was following…. Horrendous service will not be ordering or going there again… AVOID…

Excellent food and service value for money

We went as a party of 37 people and the service and food was 5*. Fresh and hot food was served with no issue what so ever. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially the buffet to all.

Quiet night. Very strange service. We had to ask repeatedly for menus. Waited quite a while for food, but it was great food.

Please think before going here. We were only allowed buffet which on the whole was awful. The trays were not replenished and felt like Oliver Twist asking for more. The food quality was very poor They even wanted to charge a lot extra for taking our own soft drink. Very arrogant head waiter

We had a buffet dinner. A good variety of dishes is available at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and cooperative. A high price is charged for children. Which I think needs to be amended.

Buffet only, no menu available as the chefs felt they were too busy. For an Indian restaurant the vegetarian choices were limited to onion bhaji, vegetable curry, vegetable spring rolls or margarita pizza and chips. The veg curry was cold, the rice was empty. The bhaji whilst nice were surely shop bought. Expensive for a vegetarian option

Was looking for a tawa place in Halifax and came across this little gem. Decided on the buffet instead as they did both. Lovely food and well worth the price. Lots of choice for starters and the currys were spot on. It's a big place on the inside with great ambience. We were well looked after by the staff and the lovely Mrs Baber Khan.

Soggy poppadoms, rude staff, grey chicken, slow service, manager claimed he'd been there a day and was new, staff said he had been there years, portions small, prices high, manager rude. Good job it wasn'tbusy....best thing about it was door out of there. Chicken tikka was 👍

Not a good first impression. Had most of the buffet dinner empty and not much of choice. What ever food is available, that tasted really good. Service is not as good as expected. Overall, I'm not happy and will not be visiting again.

Good buffet styled restaurant with excellent ambience, no loud music (thankfully) and decent food. I had limited options as a vegetarian but my meat loving friends enjoyed it more. The seating is comfortable and price is affordable. Also enjoyed their Asian desserts, but they also have icecream option.

Went with a large party and had the buffet special which consisted of mains starters and sundries together. Really enjoyed the food the waiter was great. It's got no license so you can bring your own, will visit again

This place is great for night out, do not listen to negative comments I absolutely loved this place and food, my hubby is a chef and is very hard to please food wise but not one complaint.

Never changes always a lovely evening and great food

Overall experience very poor. Looked like only one person was waiter. Popadums given but no side plates, not cutlery. Mains came out disjointed. Some had rice and no curry, some had curry but no nan/rice. No plates, cutlery, we had to get our own. Poor, poor service. It wasn’t even busy!! Only thing was when food came out it was tasty.

Thought we'd try it. Wasn't impressed, service was great but went for the A la carte menu but said only buffet was available. I hate buffets. Turned out to be pretty bad. Food was dry and nothing to shout about. Can be better.

We went as a family of 5, the place looked nice but the buffet food was terrible honestly the Chicken Wings weren't fresh & they were cold, no spice in the currys... very limited choice of food & dessert. We spent over £100 so it's £17 for each person without drinks... we wouldn't come here again...

Booked a table for 4pm for a birthday meal, arrived to be told we had to wait 20mins for buffet, even though we had booked the normal Al la carte menu... to be told that was an even longer wait bearing in mind I booked this table Tuesday.evening. the 15year old serving didn't have a clue of the bookings or surroundings

I visited this establishment earlier today and could not wait to write this review. I haven't before been to a restaurant that cared so much about their customers, all the staff went above and beyond for us and even offered to entertain my children while we ate! Lovely food, lovely ambience and as mentioned before AMAZING customer service! We shall most definitely be returning soon!

Place needs shutting down! After waiting an hour and half for our order and the restaurants number not being in service I used the number connected to Facebook and got an extremely rude and unhelpful staff member who said our food had been sat in a bag waiting for a driver for 45 minutes and that said driver arrived while I was speaking to him. 30 minutes later I called back as still no food arrived. He ignored any other attempt to connect and our food never arrived

After a visit to the buffet last week 6 kids in tow, age 2 to 16, me n hubby popped in for the tawa lunch this aft.. Absolutely deliciously fresh, authentic cuisine and something for all!! Keep it up Babar Khan’s, the best in Halifax!!
