Nice place but overpriced muffins are the best value 3.50 for a small oblong of cake and about the same for coffee but I guess on apsr with similar establishments.

Pretty decent coffee and baked goods. I stopped off for a smooth tasting flat white and a Portuguese tart. The cafe is in an attractive Georgian building and has been converted nicely. Good coffee and food, done well in a nice environment…sounds simple, but so many places get it badly wrong. So it is a credit that the Larder gets it right. My only gripe is small but significant…… The staff in the larder are, on the whole, great. However the owner seems to have an axe to grind with everyone and everything. Each time I’ve been there he’s either been having a go about something or at someone. And when I was last there he came out side and complained that my friend and I shouldn’t have put our bikes against his wall?! We were not blocking anything or causing a problem. And when we pointed this out, he grumped off. Not sure what his problem is?

Rude owner who kicked me out. I come here most days and spend at least £5/10 upwards before heading to the library. Came today 15 mins before the library opened, bought a drink and sat with a couple of friends in the mostly empty cafe. As they didn’t buy drinks we were all forced to leave, explained we come here all the time and would be gone in 10 mins when the library opened. Would’ve been happy to leave or buy more drinks if asked in a nicer tone, instead got some small conservative business owner speech instead. Not impressed

Lovely spot by the library with some delicious and interesting frittata, sandwich, and pastry options. Fair warning that if you're asked "do you want a side salad with that?" for something from the cabinets, it's not a bit of lettuce and cucumber for an extra quid, it's a full seeds and leaves salad that is £3-4 more

Stopped by for a coffee before a work event and this cafe is a bit of a hidden gem. Located in a converted Georgian building. Really great coffee and selection of food, done simple and really well in a relaxed environment. The staff there are amazing too, service very quick and efficient. If you’re in Leamington Spa definitely worth going out of your way to check it out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌰

Really cool cafe with a great selection of sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Would be five stars but they have a habit of starting to shut down an hour before closing time, taking away food, putting chairs up on tables around you and focusing on cleaning rather than serving. It's a shame as I'd much rather support this independent business than one of the chain that stay open later.

Brilliant if you’re happy to be rudely rushed out. I’m not one to write reviews, especially bad ones as I’ve worked in hospitality and know the pressures. It started well. Fresh coffee. Friendly baristas. Empties collected quickly. No faults and thankful to the baristas. BUT… after an hour, the chef came out and loudly asked me to leave, with no clear explanation why. I assume it was because my empty cup was collected so I didn’t have a drink in front of me, but I was actually about to buy another coffee. Customers - especially repeat locals - are more than money grabs. I am left questioning the other possible reasons as to why I was personally picked on when many others had been there for the same length, same purchase etc. Regardless of the reason, the manner was unprofessional, and other customers seemed equally shocked. Such a shame, especially as there was no sense to resolve the situation. I’m both confused and frustrated.

A decent café in Leamington Spa's Pump Rooms. It's ideal for tourists because The Pump Rooms have a library and an Art Centre - so you can take a break for a coffee and a bite to eat. My only criticism is the prices - I asked for a run-of-the-mill small Americano coffee. The coffee was 'small' but it cost just under £3 - typifying our modern coffee-shop rip-off culture. Aside from that, it's a decent place and the loos are usually nice and clean, too. 🤗

Just been in here with my son who has autism. Asked nicely if we could just have a cheese and ham brioche as all that is usually available is a bit too fancy. Not everyone wants pickle or relish or fig jam...some children just want plain sandwich. The children's bags are not cost effective for a teenager and he won't eat all the stuff with them and they are aimed at little kids . What are older children supposed to eat here please ? There is nothing catered for the older children. Nicely asked ,bluntly refused and brushed away, really rude lady with blonde hair scowled no and walked off. Don't come here unless you want fussy flavours and an unfriendly experience. Walked over the road to bandstand cafe who were much more accomodating

I consider myself to be a healthy foodie and always on the look out for quality healthy lunches (that is not a sandwich) when out and about. Today I tried one of the 'Larder's' beautifully presented salad boxes......mixed vegetable and lentil mix with Chicken and i even tasted fresh herbs! (they do a vegan one too). It was amazing and for £6 I can afford to buy them more often. This is not an ordinairy salad it is a multi-dimensional taste sensation (not just boring lettuce, cucumber and tomato)!! The portion was generous and filling.....This cafe know how to 'do' salad - I will definately pop in again. I also added one of their amazing 'energy balls - wow!! Only £3 and pretty big. I thought i would have to cut in half, alas not, and as it didn't contain any white sugar I absoltely enjoyed it even more. Well done - you made my day.

+ Bright space with big windows offering view on the green space outside. About 4 spots offering power plugs if you need to work a bit. - High ceilings make the space very noisy. Add in the old folks yapping at each other. The coffee was not great, I believe the roast to be very light. I would come here for the friendly staff and maybe an afternoon cake (many sweet and savory to choose from) but not a morning coffee.

Very noisy with the coffee grinding machine right next to the till. Old people shouting to each other because of the noise. It was not a place to go and relax. The latte was very small for the cost of £3.10. I would expect a large for that price. The latte I had was served in a glass with no handle, and hot drink should at least have a handle. The cake I had was dry and fairly tasteless. So, if you want a nice relaxing coffee and cake. Don't come here.
