The much was delicious , but service pretty poor , the placed our order One Ravioli and one Bavette steak, after a wait of 25 minutes , I wanted 9 table being served who arrived at leat 15 minutes after us , when I ask the waiter why he said it because we ordered a steak ?? That not how you run a kitchen you cook to order, it seemed that the kitchen was more concerned to send out the days specials and left out might i add more expensive till last . One again when I asked the server why he simple said I don't know and that my answer, so no customer care skills there ! David

Very disappointing food, My friends and I got 3 meat roasts and 2 vegan, the gravy tasted of water, the meat was dry and I only received 2 small potatoes. Staff were rude as well (only one in particular)

A friend arranged to meet for Birthday drinks this evening at this establishment, and I dropped in to deliver a gift, they were sitting outside on a table in the street. I arrived shortly after 7pm and before I was able to reach their table, I was approached by an extremely stroppy member of staff stating I had to leave immediately , as I had my son with me and on one under the age of 18 was permitted to stand in the street outside the Pub after 7pm, adding, "I don't know why anyone would be out with a child after 7pm anyway". I genuinely don't ever recall being confronted by such obnoxious, arrogant opinionated bar staff anywhere ever before. I asked her if I was permitted to stand across the road, and if not, how much of the street she believed the Landseer Arms controlled, she stated 'the whole street'. I look forward to hearing the managements justification for their staff members assertion that they have full, legal jurisdiction over the entire length of Landseer Rd, which, as far as I am aware, is still a public highway. As such, there is a public right of passage over the land at all times "without let or hindrance". But, according to them, on which, no member of the public can walk with their child after 7pm????

Fantastic meal with great service to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The food was excellent from the starters through to mains and puddings. Wines perfect suited the Mediterranean food too.

Another trendy London pub with staff in flat caps and nothing for the bitter drinker. Food was good, but with mains at almost £20 it should be. Maybe over-50s seen as too old here - pity, as we're the ones with the money.

Disgusting customer service, I live near this pub and my partner just went in for a quick drink whilst walking our dog . Firstly they don’t take cash and when asked why they got belligerent and threatening to chuck him out . Disgusting behaviour

Really enjoyed our meal here. It's laid-back with friendly staff and you order at the bar. The chicken dish was described as 'chicken shawarma with tabbouleh' - and although the chicken was spatchcocked (it was on the bone) and the tabbouleh was more of a couscous-style pilaf, it was delicious. The chicken had been beautifully marinated and the tabbouleh was well-made with bulgar wheat, fresh herbs and pomegranate seeds. On the side, was a nice, earthy beetroot yoghurt. Dessert was roasted apricots with mascarpone, olive oil and almonds, which was spiced with star anise (I think) and truly scrumptious. Great beer (according to my husband) and a nicely-chosen wine list.

They don't except cash. There are no signs to saying this. The staff we're to busy talking to each other. But they have a signs on the bar which asks for the patrons to buy the staff a drink. They are happy for patrons to leave the money for them in cash. What a joke

Honestly, I don’t know where to start. We chose 2 starters and 2 mains which came all in one go (!), together with a distinctively loveless service. The padron peppers croquettes had hardly any padron peppers in them and were totally flavourless. To be honest I couldn’t tell what was in them. Potatoes? Bread? Cheese? No idea. Regarding the beetroot ravioli with cavolo nero, what to say.. They were swimming in oil and melted butter and/or Parmesan shaves, far too salty and overall unpleasant. Both dishes obviously reheated. What a shambles! On the positive, the blackboard menu looks arty and fashionable. Spare yourselves the tummy ache afterwards!

Recently moved to the area and had spotted this place as being super worthy of dinner and a pint. Absolutely loved the pub itself but the one menu is an optician's test from hell! We both ordered pork belly and chorizo with greens and some type of bean that we couldn't read. Took a chance. Got a massive dish of totally unseasoned butter beans, ONE thin disc of chorizo apiece, a few lumps of carrot and anaemic looking kale and a chewy tough piece of belly. I could have cried. Chorizo should have at least brought a strong paprika element but this dish tasted of tinned beans water and nothing else. So I'd maybe come back for a drink some time but I'll never order food here again. Super disappointed.

Lovely local pub, hidden amongst the streets of Upper Holloway. Me and a friend pre booked for Sunday lunch and drinks. The pub is clean, spacious and quite busy. Staff were attentive and responded to any requests. We had the chicken roast dinners, tasty with some interesting tangy gravy... they initially forgot the potatoes, but this was quickly rectified 😊. Varied selection of drinks including festive ones, we tried the Mulled Ginger Beer - think citrus with a nice warming of ginger. Would recommend a visit and if going on a weekend I advise that you book!

This pub is a hidden gem in London. It’s tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood, has an excellent food selection and a good range of drinks on tap. It’s good value for money: the quality, taste and portion size. Great location to sit outside on their benches when it’s sunny and they have lovely decor inside. Would recommend to a friend!

Disappointed, to say the least. Went there for a night out with 5 other friends, who hadn't seen each other in years. Sat on a table outside and later we were asked to move inside, which we did. Once inside the manager (?) asked us to keep our volume down, which we promptly did even though we were not speaking louder than anyone else who was in the pub. It was quite noisy inside but we were the only ones being asked to reduce our volume. Once they rang the bell for last orders we tried to order only to be told staff was instructed not to serve us anymore. As if we were drunk or causing trouble, which we weren't! We were doing nothing differently from other tables. We had a few pints, we ordered food and we were just chatting normally. The only thing that set us apart from the rest of the pub was that we were the only non-English speaking table. We felt offended by the difference in treatment. Although the food is good I wouldn't recommend if you are a non-white, non-British or if you're planning to talk in another language with friends.

We were having a great time at Landseer Arms until the manager clearly didn't like our table, told us to keep our voices down, refused to serve us further and, when approached about it, just told us to never return. Appalling. I am sure nothing like this would have happened if it was a group of English speaking people. Shocking.

Just before the latest lockdown I chose this lovely spot to tell my friends they'd be my bridesmaids next year! We had a lovely evening with a light meal and lots of wine. Staff were friendly and polite. The two whites we tried were wonderful and my sandwich delish, even our crisps were brilliant - I can at least consider myself a connoisseur of fancy crisps! Furthermore, one of my friends has a severe allergy and they advised and accommodated her well and informed the chef (rarer than you'd think). It really saddens me to see ratings suffer as a result of trolling. I can explicitly say that my experiences have always been pleasant, enough to pick the Landseer for this special moment.

This morning I bought a loaf of white sourdough bread. Came back home for lunch to discover that the loaf is at least 3 days old.(Sourdough has a shelf life of 5 to 7 days). Came back to the shop after one hour to bring them back the old loaf and they insisted (rudely) that was freshly baked this morning. After 5 minute of discussion trying to explain that the bread is clearly old (the crust is softer than the inside!) the lady that served my said (but, at least, is the taste good?), ?!?!? I didn't came back to ask my money back (which considering the price of the loaf 6£ would have been good!) but after waiting the line in the cold to buy a 6£ loaf, go home and find out that is not fresh, go back to complain in the cold, the least you can expect is a bit of understanding! RUDE STAFF, PRODUCT NOT FRESH, you can find better fresh bread anywhere else, avoid!

Ridiculously bad. I have lived nearby for a while and was very much looking forward to going and did just that tonight... Oh my. Pretentious environment for pretentious, badly cooked, overpriced food. Who can't cook potatoes, FFS. 12 quid for 3 slices of tomato in yoghurt, FFS. Go to one of the Turkish places on Green Lanes instead. Half the price, twice the humanity, and actually tastes good. P.s. the wine was awful too.
