This is a beautiful pub, full of gorgeous nooks and crannies, with lovely furnishings. The food was really delicious, and fairly priced. The staff were friendly and professional, very well trained, and very pleasant. My only slight negative is that it felt a bit understaffed, and everyone was working really hard doing everything. Having a few more employees would improve the overall experience. This is for the brewery to sort out, please. I will happily recommend this pub to everyone

The experience was largely very enjoyable. Quality of service was excellent and delivery of all drinks and meals was timely. Where the experience fell short was in the food standard, which was noticeably lower than when I had last eaten at the restaurant. Some of the vegetables weren't fully cooked, even to an al dente level. Additionally both my steak and my partner's steak was not cooked to the doneness that we had requested to our waitress. I had requested a medium-rare steak and my partner a medium steak, but both steaks were overdone on one side and cooked to a medium-well doneness. The steak was still enjoyable which is why the experience as a whole gets 4/5 stars, but it wasn't how I ordered it and given the cost of the meal, this wouldn't seem to be a high bar. The saving grace was the quality of the starter and the pudding, which were both excellent.

Took family for Sunday lunch,the food was first class and the atmosphere was great.y children and grandchildren enjoyed. Experience made better by friendly Harry who served us and he had great personality.

We popped in at lunchtime as we were passing and were pleased we did. Nice food, reasonably priced, and attentive staff. Would visit again if in the area.

Absolutely amazing food pizza especially and the drinks taste clean and refreshing. Service is amazing and really quick. Really recommend this place.

The front of house staff were excellent, but our experience was not good due to the quality of the food. One of the main dishes was sent back because it was cold, and when it came back the rice was not cooked. A replacement meal was provided but we ended up eating our meals at separate times, when all we wanted was to eat our food at the same time.

I love this restaurant! Such welcoming and friendly team of staff. Great food (can highly recommend the signature Burger and Seabass!). Very cosy, ideal for both families and couples. Nice garden area for the warmer weather. Highly recommended!

Excellent friendly service, polite but non intrusive - good size portions and very dog friendly which is what we wanted.

We both had the Trio Roast. It's was presented well on the plate and the flavours were outstanding. Meat was cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly and polite. Lovely relaxing country pub. Will be visiting again very soon. Highly recommend The Lamb Inn 👌🏻

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Lamb, definitely recommend the Pie of the day served by our very friendly waitress , Fran . The band playing tonight was a bonus to our night out .

For starters the Inn smells lovely as soon as you walk in, and the whole interior and atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service was great, we had a fab waitress who was happy, professional with just the right amount of attentiveness. The food options were nicely varied, I had a delicious aubergine parmigiano with garlic bread. My fellow diner had the beef and red wine pie of the day, we were both really impressed with the food and dining experience. Would highly recommend.

We have been coming to The Lamb for over 40 years and we can honestly say we could count the bad times on one finger. Kate was really friendly and kind as my husband is getting a bit ancient! Good food good service. Great.
