I’m very fussy with my fish batter I hate it when the inside is like cake mix, this place gets it right every time. Lovely and crispy. The chips are always lovely, but since they introduced the battered chips they are definitely my choice and have never been at other places. The kebabs are delicious not greasy and with a good amount of meat, salad and onion, the portion size is good. Importantly the staff are great, always attentive and friendly. Happy to help in anyway and lovely to the kids. Can’t fault this place keep it up! 👍

Came here as our regular was closed. Thank god it was as this place is amazing. Best kebab meats I’ve ever eaten and perfect hot fresh chips. Lovely staff too. Good portion sizes.

We were there to see a show in the Station Cannock and popped in beforehand for tea and had a brilliant fish and battered chips meal.

Ordered food via uber eats, after waiting an hour and a half, still no food !! Chip shop contacted us to apologise for the delay. Turns out the uber driver collected our food but failed to deliver to us. Our food was delivered direct from the shop, fresh and hot by Becky who is always happy and helpful. Needless to say we won’t be using uber again. Have used the chip shop for several years now. Always lovely food, good portion sizes and good prices. The staff are all friendly , especially Becky, nothing is too much trouble

Tried here for the first time today as our usual chip shop had put the prices up again. All I can say is I’m glad they did and it made us go here. Amazing food. The battered chips are actually battered and not just orange and they are lovely and crispy. The food was hot when it arrived and plentiful and it wasn’t at all greasy. Prices were good and there was a big selection to choose from. We will definitely be back here again and it will be our go to chippy from now on 👍

OMG, I’m 48 years old and only now have I had the best chips I have ever tasted and felt in my mouth. Sorry for the phrase but, I had a mouthgasm. Oh wow! This place puts our old chippy to shame! We were told that was the best chippy in Cannock, heck no! The battered chips are out of this world and quite possibly the best food I’ve ever given my mouth the pleasure to try. Their fish cake tastes like fish, not bread pretending to be fish. Their curry sauce is the best I’ve ever had. I’m aware that all chippies might use the same supplier of curry sauce.. but I swear it was better than ever. We’ve lived in Cannock since 2008 and we’ve always used the same chippy. Oh man I wish we’d tried them all, over time, then we’d have already been eating these amazing explosions of taste and texture. But then again - We’d be the size of TEN houses by now. 🤣 Seriously, if you also want to taste and feel the best chips ever, order their battered chips, and I highly recommend fish cake and curry sauce. (We order enough to eat over two days) Absolutely gorgeous Chips. I never want any other chips ever again! ☺️

After seeing the good reviews,,we decided to try Krispy Chip.We ordered large cod ,regular mixed chips, and small carton of mushy peas The fish tasted awful. It left a strange sickly taste in the mouth.God knows what it was cooked in,and it didn't taste like fish. The chips were soggy, certainly not crispy. The battered chips were were soft not what could be described as battered. The mushy peas consisted of about 2 dz peas in green water. Most of the food was dumped in the bin outside of the shop. As I did so,I said to the young man who served me, who was putting up outside of the shop that they were the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Total cost £12.60.My advise is to avoid this shop and go elsewhere.

We love coming here for fish & chips, proper good chippy with great staff and amazing food. Just how fish n chips should be, never had a bad one and always seems nice and fresh. Yes they are on Uber etc. But you don't get their amazing atmosphere online just their amazing food.

Ordered through Just Eat and the driver left the wrong order. Rang the chippy and they couldn't have been more helpful in sorting it out for us, even going so far as a lovely member of staff delivering the food herself! The food is always fresh and tasty, but this was fantastic service

I ordered food on uber eats from krispy chip, tracking was good, uber driver delivered but had handed over the wrong order, I called uber but no answer back on call, I called krispy chip directly, a lovely lady had answered and apologised for the mix up on the uber drivers behalf even tho it wasn't her fault, she had spoken to her manager and got back to me as soon as, she had offered to make up my order and deliver to me herself personally even tho only 3 staff in the shop at time, on arrival she greeted me with a lovely smile, another apology and hot food all the right order and said for mix up to keep the other food although I didn't need it as had my own order but the thought was still nice, my partner had the food when he finished work 😂 but my kids were happy and enjoyed their meals, thankyou so much.. uber requested a review and if I'd like to tip, if I'm gonna review anyone it will be the service I got personally from krispy chip. Thankyou again.. my son loves the chicken strips BTW also 😊

This should be everyone’s place to go. The quality and generosity of portions is amazing. They never fail to deliver amazing food consistently and often add a little extra. Cannot praise highly enough

Always go here and they never let me down, customer service is amazing they are always happy and welcoming. Food is outstanding always give good portions and is always fresh. Don’t see myself ever going elsewhere.

Will never go there again. When first order arrived was missing a whole meal, sauce on one meal and a whole pot of sauce. Called them they said they will send it out in 10 mins. One hour later no food, called them and the girl bringing me the order was apparently trying to find my house and couldn’t for a whole hour ? Was apparently trying to ring me a text came through but all these apparent missed calls didn’t. After at least about 10 different calls back and fourth food was stone cold by the time it came which was nearly 2 hours late!!! Told me if I go into the chippy they’ll give me £10. What goods that when family have eaten over 2 hours ago

I don’t know if this chippy changed owner or something but we had from there once in 2019 maybe. Had something today was absolutely disgusting. Chips were soaked in oil, order a chicken kebab and ending up with a chicken tikka, curry sauce was rubbish. -0 out of 10. Absolutely rubbish.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips. A small chips is plenty for two people, the fish had crispy batter and the mushy peas were lovely. I would highly recommend this chippy. 😀

Would give 0 stars if possible can't comment on the food as haven't eaten here, went in as an experienced chip shop worker as they were hiring, only to be told he didn't like my tattoos and my tattoos would affect weather I got the job or not! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the manger! It's 2023 not 1860!! Stop discrimination against people!

i have been using this chippy for about 20 years, the best chippy ever, staff are very friendly and helpful, the cheapest priced and well portioned food and excellent, 5 stars all round id give more if i could, this chippy is very highly recommended

This is the absolute worst chip shop I've ever been to with a questionable portion size large chips is £4.80 and the chips are vile which is shocking didn't even feed two adults and a 4 years old

This is by far the best fish and chip shop. Chips were mouth watering tasty, fish was fresh. Curry sauce was nice.Was disappointed with the doner meat but everything else was enjoyable.Will def visit this fish and chip shop again!

This would be 0 stars if it could be! We have been to this chip shop for almost 15 years. Will never ever go again. Customer service is now absolutely horrific. We ordered our food and then were told we were liars when we questioned, when they had added one extra meal on and charged us for it. Then when we asked for a refund we were told we couldn’t have a refund as we asked for it the original meals (despite the fact we DID NOT and I even held my hand up to say how many meals I needed as the woman was obviously struggling to hear). The two ladies were so rude that we asked for a full refund so we could go elsewhere and were denied it, so ended up having to buy the food from the worst staff I’ve genuinely ever ever come across. Will never ever go here again.

Kebabs were like eating dry cardboard box. Donna's meat and flappy pitta bread were well overcooked and dry.

I love this chippy. The people are lovely and the portions are just right. Probably the best chippy I have ever been to. They also gave our little girl a lollipop how sweet.

The food was ok, but well overpriced. Paid £15 for two fish and chips and it wasn’t pleasant, fish was very chewy and chips had no flavour. Had high expectations for this place but won’t be going back

Forget the chips the kebabs are amazing!!! The portion sizes are huge! I got a large mixed kebab and it fed two people. My only issue is that it's in cannock and I live in Manchester! But Everytime I visit for work I always visit this chip shop. Thank you.

Only been the once but was a memorable fish and chips shop. Well clean inside with nice tiling but it's all about the food. What I had was a mixed kebab wrap at a sizeable portion also at a reasonable price so left happy and soon after full. Highly would recommend.

One of the few places that actually serve decent fish and chips in Cannock. I've never had a poor/ reheated fish here. That very unusual!!!! What some places serve is shocking.....staff have always been friendly when I've used it.

Not Crispy chips (but was the best bit of my lamb kebab) was passing on the way home and fancied a kebab and chips.It was 8pm and I should have looked at the slightly under cooked kebab meat left on the spinner and just walked out, anyway I got home took one bite of the kebab shredding and thought this just is not right so I decided to take it back. OMG I got shouted at by the owner and he aggressively slammed £2 on the counter. I should of told him to shove the £2 where the sun don’t shine. He said if you don’t like the taste don’t come back, well don’t worry I’m never EVER coming back.

Absolutely disgusting fish chips the batter was so thick and hard won’t be going back again my hubby paid 15.00 for tea tonight what a waste of money when they at to go in bin Zach you won’t be doing much trade serving meals like this
