Jumbo House in Cannock Chase

Am missing my Chinese takeaway as been closed for few months, have been using this Chinese since moving to hednesford in 1986 ,always friendly , happy & pleasant. Amazing food and fast service.

I have been using Jumbo House since I was a child the food has always been excellent . The staff are always polite and friendly, they amaze me there is only 2 of them and the quality of the food never fails. I think they would give any of the bigger chains a run for their money. Lovely food great service best around

Food was soggy, undercooked and full of onion to bulk it out, no taste whatsoever. Took it back and the women in the shop went absolutely mental shouting and told us to get our. Disgusting food and service.

Been coming here for 20yrs or more …always lovely food ,, king doh chicken,salt and pepper chips chicken fried rice and curry sauce ….and sometimes a spring roll if we’re really hungry …love it

Use to go here a lot for our Chinese great food well priced but very difficult to park outside so do not use no more but highly recommend it

This Chinese has been here for years and it is amazing! The food is tasty, fresh, and always ready when they say it will be. A Lovely couple own the Jumbo House and they always remember the regulars.

This is the best Chinese take away, good food great staff that have been in charge of the place for years.

Been using this chinese for years as my parents always used it, when I moved out I stopped going and tried using various local Chinese take aways to me (Cheslyn Hay/Great Wyrley area) However after a couple of years I reverted back to Jumboo House as the quality cannot be beaten. Sometimes there is a longer wait during peak times but I’m prepared to wait for high quality food. Lady (owner) who answers the phone is friendly & polite and they always provide complimentary free prawn crackers. Wandering Dragon highly recommended :)

Flat-out best Chinese Takeaway in Hednesford. Big portions, friendly staff, and quick turnaround times. More importantly - delicious food. Delivery service would be an improvement.

If you like a "big curry" and lovely rice dish then go here. The meals are really Jumbo sized and really fresh and tasty.Very good value for money and always free complimentary crackers!

We have been having takeaways for years .we have never had one bad meal .the owners are really lovley people too.this has to be the best Chinese takeaway in hednesford .

Have used this Chinese for years and is a lot better than the take aways local to me in Rugeley. Situated on a busy junction but ample parking on either side of the road.

We have used this take away for decades, but over the last few years it has sadly steadily declined. From the mobile telephone number and then the owner answering and hanging up on their busy nights....yes this did happen on Valentines night a couple of times! to the crispy beef that is chewy and soggy. Sorry Jumbo House enough is enough, from now one we will take our hard earned cash to the other take a aways that don't hang the phone up when the going gets tough.

I have been using this takeaway for many years, the food is consistently good and there is always plenty of it. I would recommend king prawn King do if your a fan of sweet and sour and you must try the pancake roll, they are large and packed full. One small downside is no delivery, I would suggest ordering the food for collection, as my title states, everything takes 15 mins.

Had the set menu for two... Easily fed for. 20 quid. Clean place.

Beef curry boiled rice and Cantonese Chow Mein is immense also and they always throw some prawn crackers in for free

Enjoyed the takeaway from the Jumbo chinese. Really tasty, excellent value, would recommend the takeaway, did not have to wait too long for the meals

Been here twice on the last month or so and not being to sure the 1st time, tried it again last night. I had the basic curried chicken with egg fried rice and a few chips. It looked to orangey and didn't taste like curry i had from other takeaways. The chips were ok but I only had 2 mouthfuls and chucked it. I won't be returning😩

Have tried various different places over time but always went back to this place. Now never go anywhere else. Always good food served with a smile
