Tried Peters Kitchen tonight as all others where closed. Had my favourite Singapore fried rice dish. Wow, what beautiful flavour it was. It was loaded with Chicken, Pork and prawns the portion size was massive filling my plate. The service was quick and the lady was very polite. Definitely have again.

ordered from here for the first time, and it was the best Chinese I’ve ever had!!! Service was amazing , and the food was amazing!! Portion sizes were huge, couldn’t even finish it all, lovely inside too, will definitely be visiting again, so happy, the only Chinese I’ll be eating from now!!

The best Chinese iv had in a long time! I had bbq ribs which I'm really fussy about and they were fantastic really happy with my meal.

Had mixed satay and was like water with meat and veg only a couple of prawns found not great for the price paid

Bought tea from here on several occasions and always been very reliable. Never even average tbf. The food is pretty much ready to collect on time and the portions are decent too. Overall, very good.

Again we had our usual curry and aromatic duck delivered. Delivery was good and ontime and hot, the food was tasty and good, however the price was extortionate £25 normally around £15_£18. After Xmas these guys will struggle.

Best Chinese takeaway in Rugeley hands down, my gf and I always come here when we want something different and the customer service is always good. The food isn't greasy unlike other Chinese takeaways I've been to and generally speaking food quality is A++++++ (spice level is also pretty much as-advertised as well, you will definitely not be left wanting)

Lovely Chinese food not full of salt and grease like some. Special chow mein came in 2 containers 1 with noodles and other with Special in sauce. Hot and fresh.

Food couldn't fault however £15.80 for a special curry egg fried rice and chips which the chips I believe were included in the curry price I feel is somewhat extortionate....however I paid for a soup I didn't order when I called to complain i was told the manager had relayed the order back to me ...i then changed my mind from Singapore fried rice to noodles my order came with rice not a problem as I enjoy both. As much as the food was delicious will not be ordering from here again..Customer service let's you downl

Excellent food and great service.

Had 2 takeaways from here now and both times the food has been tasty and hot and great portions for the price. Had a long wait the 2nd time but they were very busy which is fine as the food made it worth the wait

This is the best Chinese in town. Try the Chicken and Cheese Rolls they are delicious defintley a big Favourite

Wide choice of meals on the menu and the food was very impressive too.

4 years since i last had a takeaway from here, thought i would give them another try, see if they had improved,,,, NOPE! Had sweet & Sour chicken balls, chicken was very salty and tasted a bit strange, the batter (if you could call it that) was like dough, undercooked. Result?, gippy tummy and several visits to the toilet next day, glad i threw half of it away.. Will never use them again!!

Oh my days! Just had Singapore noodles from Peter's. First time in about 2 years for Chinese (long story) and it was absolutely gorgeous! I ordered 2 portions as I used to but one was more than enough. Hope I can freeze the other one 😁. Very friendly staff and great food ❤️

Food is great but they pick a price depending on what day you go in!! If it's a quiet night prices change and go up 🤷‍♂️ Decent food though.

Great large veggie pancake roll specially made fresh. Great salt n pepper chips. Great beef chose mein. Great cheesy chicken rolls & small veggie rolls. Very clean, very friendly & helpful staff. Best Chinese takeaway in Rugeley.

Ordered duck curry small amount of onion only. Was told half an hour. Was an hour, practically cold and solid with onion. I shan’t be using this shower again.

I always use Peters Kitchen ,even through their poor hygiene review .Ordered a takeaway ,told 20 minutes ,an hour later and still waiting .⏱If I would have been told the time issue I could of picked it up myself .Feel very let down oh and hungry Come on peters kitchen ,tell people the truth ,it may help you out .

Had a takeaway for the first time in two years. Was told delivery was 40mins (mid week). After an hour I had to chase the delivery. When it arrived we had a “free” dish. If it’s a trial for a new item then don’t bother, it was not pleasant. Husband meal was ok , but I had house specials. Not in oyster sauce as they used to be but in something really bland. There used to be six prawns, now there are only two. It didn’t even taste “ Chinese” just bland. You forget after a while why you change supplier. Will go back to our normal takeaway in future. Very sad as when Peter Shek had the place it was superb.

My favourite Chinese restaurant by far! Excellent pricing and fantastic food, never feels greasy or oily!

Service was good and amedmets made to an order. We all enjoyed the food and would always return for a take away there.

We love our Chinese night from here, the people who run it are lovely I cauld ask for anything off the menu to be made differently and they do with no trouble at all, and their driver has a wealth of knowledge about everything and is always happy and smiley he’s a pleasure to speak to.

Great food but for a delivery you have to wait nearly two hours which puts it at a 3 star.

i used this takeaway for many years uptill about 5 years ago and it went from one star to nill, it just went down hill meals just got worse n worse , maybe owner had a problem but think he back on track, last night i decided on to give it another try and so hapoy i did, best spare ribs ive ever had, sauce thick ,full of flavour,like the good old days, will def be back .

It’s a shame the service is so terrible as the food is delicious! The people that answer the phone are useless! This is not the first time either! I have used them a few times since the first few problems but after tonight never again! I said can I make an order for delivery she didn’t ask me for my adddress I said do u not want my details she’s was like oh but ur collecting if??? I said no delivery like I said??? 40 min later she calls me back as they are waiting for me to collect??? His many times??? Now it’s been nearly an hour as she messed up my order? Again not the first time but 100% the last! Very poor!

So me and the boys decided to have a takeaway tonight . Peter kitchen supplied the goods once again ,delivered when they said it would be ,lovely food now ready for some Saturday night TV 😊😊

We used this establishment after being referred by a friend.We had a fairly decent meal, curry was okay and a fairly decent portion. It was prepared in decent time and we had no issues with it other than it was a little hot, nothing too detrimental though.Well worth a try though.

He estado usando Cocina Pedro durante muchos años y ha sido mi primera elección cada vez.Justo antes de Fin de Año mi pareja y yo decidimos pedir comida. Yo tenía mi habitual ypor desgracia delicioso al día siguiente, me vine con un caso grave de intoxicación alimentaria y sólo puede haber sido de cómo la comida era preparada o almacenados (creo que el arroz).Esto arruinó nuestra nueva años celebraciones ya que pasé la mayor parte de ser enfermo.Intenté contactos ellos para hacerles saber que había un problema y que deben comprobar que el proceso de almacenamiento. Pero después de muchas comunicaciones simplemente no parece remotamente interesado.No hace falta decir que estoy Amargamente decepcionado con cómo han manejado su y juramos nunca utilizarlas de nuevo.Es una lástima.

Típico para llevar chino, hizo el trabajo sin embargo, el tiempo de entrega y la comida podría tanto mejor. El servicio siempre con una sonrisa, pero era un día entre semana así que me esperaba algo mejor, ya que no podría haber sido ultra ocupado! Pero la relación era bastante buena, pueden probarlo de nuevo.

Wow I don't think I've ever been more grossed out and cross! We ordered food from Peter's kitchen tonight and found a black hair in it!!! So after calling them, the girl was fantastic! Sent apologies and told me someone would be with us soon to give us the money back. However, when he arrived he demands the hair back! I told him it was in the bin with the food! He insisted I go and get it so he could take the hair back... ended up fishing the dirty plate out of the washer (with the culprit still there) so he could pluck the hair off to take back. So not only have I had a hair in my dinner but I've also been made to feel like a liar! Warning... avoid like the plague!

very friendly staff, excellent food, delivered if required. ask if you want extra item's in your food. you can telephone your order and its done with the agreed time.

Hemos estado utilizando cocina pedro durante años, la comida es excelente incluso se esforzaba por hacer nuggets de pollo, que por cierto era enorme para mis nietos, y el servicio es el mejor que hemos tenido, siempre puntuales no te decepcionará.

Muy buena porción bien recomiendo. Buena calidad.. Los alimentos entregados a la hora... Ahora uso regular

Nunca me decepcionó, mejor carne rallado crujientes que he probado jamás. La entrega está siempre de buen tiempo. La comida es verdaderamente increíble nunca he tenido unas mejores chino en cualquier parte del mundo. Nos encanta este lugar

Haven't had a Chinese for awhile after Peter left but thought we would try it, we weren't disappointed, it was spot on, delivered on time and piping hot, looking forward to the next one.

Well had Chinese before from here but was OK. But we tried again; they have uped there game .. fresh. .. tasty.. good portions...Value for money..Now our new Chinese

It use tobe lovely food. But can't eat it now. Everything seems watery.not good at all .also the people who take order are so rude. I felt rushed.terrible customer service.

We have used this Chinese quite a few time in the last 6 years. It is consistently good, delivery is always either on time or early. The food is hot and tasty and they have never mucked the order up. It is cash only. People taking the order are friendly and efficient. Wish they had their menu on line, mainly because ours always disappears

There are loads of Chinese take away's in Rugeley with non of them being really outstanding, however i finally feel that i have found the best one. The menus are all very much the same but Pete's kitchen meals are bigger portions and are a lot tastier.

We always have takeaways from here. We have been eating from here for years and always a great standard.

Last time I came here it wasn't good at all and I vowed to never come back again. The chips were awful and portions were small. However the lemon chicken was nice.You always see the owner (or ex owner?) peter in local beer houses on the drink.

We have been using Peters Kitchen for years and we have never been let down. Superb food always, prompt delivery and a reasonable price.

the best Chinese I have had by far

We have been customers at peters kitchen for a few years now but took a break due to moving away from the area, we returned recently and thought we would give he place a try again and wasn't disappointed! What an excellent takeaway. We ordered a delivery service on Saturday night and were expecting a long wait. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told my order would be with me in 40 minutes. I was dining with friends and it was a large order so I was expecting a longer wait. However 35 minutes later a hot and excellently packed takeaway arrived at my door. The delivery man was really pleasant and polite which makes a change to most other takeaways! The food was delicious, we had a variety including the mixed starters, satay chicken, beef in black bean, chow mien and spare ribs all were excellent. The one thing that makes this stand out is the food quality. It's not greasy and heavy and is tasty and cooked well even on a busy Saturday night. It is slightly more expensive than others but its worth it given the quality. I will be visiting again soon!

We have a takeaway from Peter's Kitchen most weekends and love it.....have tried them from other places but always go back..... can't be beaten.....!
