El Kraken chippy en East Kilbride ha bajado sus estándares , llamado a la cena de nuggets de pollo , y la cena de salchichas , las patatas fritas eran comestibles y la masa de salchichas era casi inexistente , y los nuggets de pollo se quemaron por fuera haciendo que el pollo como goma por lo que se embotellaron con la mitad de la cena de salchichas , voy a dar a este lugar una falta de ahora en adelante

Increíble calidad y servicio de principio a fin. El personal es amable y se puede ver que se están divirtiendo, lo que siempre hace la diferencia. Este lugar es perfecto. Hemos probado todo el menú ahora y cada elemento está listo. ¡Los filetes de pollo, los peces monje, las cenas especiales de pescado y las papas fritas son increíbles! Lo mejor de este lugar es el pedido suave y fácil de comida que siempre está listo muy rápido. Cada bocado es fresco y sabroso - usted necesita visitar pronto! Hemos revisado restaurantes en todo el mundo desde 1996. Este es el mejor chippy que hemos visitado, y nos hemos abstenido de una “revisión temprana” de cuando abrió. ¡Está listo!

Normalmente uso la rama cambuslang, pero estaba con mi madre para la rapidez utilizado el pescado del pueblo era principalmente rebozado y para 8. 50 Yo esperaría algo mejor

Decided to The Kraken Chippy East Kilbride after following their social media page for their Cambuslang store & I guess falling for all the hype. Now their new East Kilbride store, well it was some wait for the store to actually open (Must be the longest wait for any takeaway to actually open in history). It had of course been hyped up for at least a couple of months before the doors opened on April 16th 2024 with a series of social media posts with Roman numerals as a clue to the opening date because they couldn't just do what any normal business would do & just tell their potential customers. Now their social media pages tell you that The Kraken Cambuslang store is award winning (Awards apparently for Best Dessert Offering, Best Fish Supper - West & Best Delivery Service) Strange then that the East Kilbride store didn't actually open up with this award winning delivery service set up & ready to go. Anyway I went down to try the much hyped Kraken East Kilbride store. Ordered Sausage Suppers which you'll see from the photos were not worth the money & were overcooked. Sausages & the chips as you'll see from the photos were abysmal. I'll not be back. If this is an award winning chippy then I'd hate to see the ones they beat to the coveted titles. Now the owner can't take criticism on review sites. He'd argue about the sky being blue & the grass green. He's only interested in the ones praising them to the hilt. In order to avoid the argument I'll include snippets of my receipt for proof that I have visited the store & the photos of what was received. Don't believe the hype folks, there are better chippy establishments selling better stuff than The Kraken. If I could give 0 I would.

Had to try the new shop that’s recently opened . We really enjoyed the fish suppers and the homemade tartar sauce . Will definitely be back .

Went to the Kraken chippy in the village East Kilbride and looked good but it stops at that for me. Nothing special when it came to the food and when I asked if they batter to order I was told can you see how busy it is and then they got the order wrong to be told…my bad. Dreadful saying and Fish wasn’t great so won’t be going back
