There are mixed reviews here, so I would say to check them out for your own opinion Unfortunately I personally didn't enjoy my food and it ended up in the bin I travelled so far based on the reviews The rice and peas were beautiful along with the mac cheese, my issue was the jerk chicken, it was way to salty and I couldn't eat it Such a shame that this was my experience. I drove a hour, so I wasted my fuel and also wasted my money 🙃

Ordered food 20:25, 22:33 still no food, 3 phone calls and the staff had zero interest of helping and told me it was on them. The food had apparently left at 21:30 and they couldn’t do anything to help. Customer service is non existent and they have no desire to want to help customers and feel it isn’t there fault the food hasn’t been delivered but happy to take the money.

I ordered jerk chicken rice and peas and steam veg with a dumpling. As a jamaican this is the best jerk chicken I have had in a long time. Portion size was good with the right amount of jerk sauce, the chicken was full of flavour, I enjoyed every bit. Will definitely be ordering again and recommending to family and friends.

The Jerk chicken is just like the Jerk chicken in Jamaica but with more sauce/gravy. High on the jerk smokey flavour with medium spice. The brown stew chicken is delicious too but not as good or as spicy as the jerk chicken. The Ja’makin me hungry box is the way to go as you get steamed veg, Mac n cheese, dumpling, rice n peas, sweet fried plantain and coleslaw.

1st time I have ever ordered from this shop the was yum yum yum will definitely be telling my friends and and family about this one place

The food here is unreal!! It’s become our new regular go to for mutton curry. When they were closed for a week we went back to our old place we’d regularly go to prior and couldn’t believe how bland that food tasted in comparison to here. Look forward to ordering from here again soon!

They need to add fry chicken dinner to the menu man but apart from that the food nice

There were some drawbacks, such as an unbalanced meat-to-rice ratio. Additionally, the wings were overcooked, resembling burnt charcoal, and the pimento seeds posed a threat as they were easily mistaken for meat but turned out to be bones upon biting. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement in certain elements.

Worst burgers ever! Patties Came raw, chips came cold and sent wrong drinks. when I contacted them basically argued against me and said burgers are always 100% cooked and that I should just contact uber eats!

Curry goat on a madness Rice and pea took me back to my home town big up the rice and pea errytime Jerk on serious levels chefs doing some serious rizz on the chops Fries coming light and fluffy with it complimented by that beautiful sweet coleslaw you man are doing bits Serious grafter enjoyed this food you man should try this one Busting moves like m dot r after this meal still Come on

Went in ordered curry chicken,rice and pease and steamed veg and it tasted amazing! The best curry chicken ive ever tasted.

We had the desi breakfast which was nice and filling. Only constructive advice I'll say is they need to serve karak chai instead of normal chai .

Half the food was missing I rang up to tell them,, the lady on the phone was so so rude I would not recommend anyone eating from here the food was stone cold soggy chips the burger was cold missing items then she tried to blame the driver for not picking up all the food when everone knows that the food is passed to the driver over the counter this lady even had the cheek to tell me I must come for the food when I told her I'm leaving a bad review she hung up on me no customer service very poor manner dies not know how to speak to customers when they are at fault they never even tried to rectify it.

This food is delicious 😋 I had the 'Jamaican me hungry box', which was good value for money! A great big box of hot food. I opted for curried goat, rice and peas, mac and cheese, coleslaw, boiled veggies and dumpling. We called them about the menu as there was a slight discrepancy in the ordering process and they were so helpful and polite. What I like about this food was that it had a slightly hotter curry, which I really liked against the contrast of the cheesy and homely mac and cheese and the fresh coleslaw. The dumpling was soft, sweet and fresh. Really liked the food here 😋 😍

Enjoyed the food, we ordered oxtail, jerk chicken and some plantain and the portion size was good as was the quality of the food. Would have liked more vegetables with the rice and the plantain had to be warmed up, but otherwise great and would order again. Food was made and delivered quickly after ordering too. If you're looking for something a bit different to the usual pizzas and burgers, give them a try!

I ordered 2 meals, my wife was pleased with her meal. However my Hake fish meal was overpowered by the pickled veg. Wherever I’ve ordered fish dinners from, the fish has had sauce. The whole experience was dry. Really needed that “fish sauce.” Very disappointing when you’re hungry and looking forward to having dinner.

First time ordering from here, and I would definitely recommend it. I ordered the jamakin me hungry box and also the klassic jerk wrap. The depth of flavour and taste and also the portion sizes was amazing I loved the way they cooked the chicken in the box and also the wrap to perfection, and the sauce in the wrap was something else probably my favourite taste in my whole order. The sauce/gravy of the jerk chicken added even more taste to the rice and mac and cheese. I would definitely recommend and will 100% be ordering from here again

I was put off by some of the reviews but I decided to order from here. I had oxtail, with a jerk chop with rice n' peas. Although the oxtail pieces were smaller than I prefer, the taste was on-point and there was plenty of gravy. I will def order from here again.

First time ordering from here and the food was unreal! I ordered the jerk wings,curry goat and peri fries. The food portion sizes were reasonable and it tasted amazing.

My first time ordering and so please I'm leaving a review here as well as on just eat. ordered three things and it is the best Caribbean food I have had as usually I have been left disappointed. In the hungry box I loved the Mac and cheese and I felt the elements tasted good together. Spicy Fries I really liked those. It had a spicy sticky coating that was just oomph The burger was woah. First time I ordered food from here it was absolutely 10/10,flavour,portion size,tenderness of the meat..however this time around the food was shockingly bad,stewed chicken meat was really dry,lamb chops were really dry and over cooked also..plus all the food was ridiculously spicy and I didn't receive my curry goat which I'd been charged for..really disappointing service this time round 👎 £55 order I will not be ordering from here again

Absolutely smashed it… This place is clean and fresh looking from the outside and inside does not disappoint! Sam hooked us up with some curried goat, rice and peas, steamed veg and a couple of dumplings… Everything is seasoned PROPERLY with some real taste and a great amount of spice. If you want authentic then definitely try this place, I have been back twice in a week! Portions are good (large dinner will feed 2), dumplings are a bit small but cheap so buy 2 😎👌🏾

I love it here, best tasting food

I was very disappointed that the meat was very tough and did not taste nice at all.

I ordered the curry goat for me and my partner and whoever cooks the food must of thrown a whole heap of scotch bonnets in, it was not edible at all. I’ve had curry goat many times before but never has my mouth felt like a volcano. Would not recommend nor would I use again. 1 star was given as no choice for zero 😡🤮

Food was full of flavour but wasn't very hot only warmish I had jamaking me hungry box with curry goat which cost just under £20 I didn't think it was worth the money tbh there wasn't much curry and some bits of meat were warm and others cold the mac and cheese was a tiny square and cold so threw it out there was more coleslaw than anything else after hearing the hype of thus place I couldn't wait to try only to be disappointed as couldn't fully eat as was only warm

I placed an order for delivery. 2 items were missing, I called the shop to inform them and instead of trying to resolve the issue they hung up on me. I tried to call back 7 times to which they just let the line ring out. Shocking customer service the 2 items alone cost £5.50 which I only added as extra to be able to qualify for delivery!

Delicious, full of flavour and the right amount of heat.

Food was really tasty and the portion was generous. Nothing bad to say about this place. Will definitely buy again. More than enough left over for lunch tomorrow.

This place is one of the best places I've ever had Caribbean food. They jerk the meat like no other place I have had mutton chops. The rice and ps are so flavoursome I could survive a nuclear winter on them. The packaging in a tray is fantastic, the separation of portions. Only thing is I like planting over done so you have to specify otherwise it is as ripe as advertised but still those chops are to die for and the homemade coleslaw take the spicy edge off if needed. Great food 😋

I ordered the Oxtail and it was delicious it fell of the bone and came with plenty of sauce. The delivery was fast and I would definitely order again.

I ordered on Uber Eats; I’m skeptical of ordering from places I haven’t tried before. Ordered the Jamaican Me Hungry box & it didn’t disappoint! The food was hot, the delivery time was fast and the flavours were all there. Ordered the skyjuice, didn’t like that but that’s down to me, not the the way it was made. Felt compelled to leave a review after seeing all the negative ones on here. Would order again for sure

I ordered from there, my burger is cold and the posting of the brownie and “custard” is ridiculous it’s not even edible it’s like jelly.

The best Caribbean food in Birmingham. Always great and the delivery times are fast. Portion sizes are generous and everything is very tasty

Unfortunately food was inedible due to far too much salt. Ordered through ubereats and could only get a redelivery if I reordered through uber which was a minimum £15 spend. Restaurant were really understanding when i called but unfortunately couldn't refund or prepare fresh jerk wings and curried goat dishes as chef had gone home and everything must have already been prepared and seasoned. Really unfortunate as presentation was really good and coleslaw and dumplings were nice, hence the star. Lingering taste of salt after trying the meat dishes meant that we didn't want to eat any more of the rice and veg. Very disappointing as food looked really good but not helpful looking good when you can't eat it!

Its not nice to hang up in a customer's ear if you are trying to solve a delivery problem or if your customer is still confused.

Not good. Jerk chicken was raw and pink inside also covered in this vinegar flavoured sauce which was disgusting.

Ordered first time today of uber eats, thought give it a try i dont leave reviews really, Ordered jerk burger they called me right away said not in stock and offered me upgraded alternative. Burger was tasty, jerk chicken and rice tasty no lack of flavour. Mac n cheese tasty. Defo gona be comming again

Went today had the hake which was made fresh, portion sizes were really good, decent portion of rice, veg and fish, a lot of places load up with rice so it was good to see decent portions of all. The chicken burger was nice. Sky juice was bangin👌. Service was really good, staff are friendly and welcoming, will definitely visit again especially as it is so local
