We came in to day Husband usually has jerk chicken rice and doubles but wasn't ready he was recommended the mutton he never tried it before but he loved it

Yeah I think maybe if your a local you will get some quality food based off these reviews I've read. Or maybe it was just a bad day for me, however, when I ordered a potion of ackee and saltfish, with no exaggeration, there was one small piece of fish. It was effectively just ackee and white rice. I did sense some bad energy within the place and Jamaica/jaimacans generally do bring good vibes. I didn't even entertain a response to this offer of food and happily went along my merry way. Some people really are sad out here though i cant lie. The maddest thing is I don't actually eat from food shops as I don't like reheat food, which I did ask the young man at the front if it was cooked freshed this morning to which he replied yes. So yeah that was my experience with these people. Bless sameway though, we try stay positive despite what's goin on around us ya get it.

The chicken wings recommend, the main meal had a different smell than expected and lacked in flavour. It’s a shame as this place had good reviews and there was so much to choose from that was actually available.

Food is fantastic my only slight gripe was my fried chicken came with sauce on which hasn't before.

Best food shop for miles, tried a few, and it’s the best in town.. travel over 5 miles round trip, for that freshly made daily soup.

The best vegan Jamaican food i've had EVER! When I say they're not little on the portion size. I always have a huge plate of ackee. The service is excellent. I never leave reviews but i had to big them up ! Food so good it tastes like it does back home. 10 stars!!

Mmmm 😋 I just had a large vegan pea soup, it was fire 🔥 👌🏾👌🏾 big pieces of yam and carrots, good amount of peas, lovely flavour, nicest pea soup i’ve had in a long time 😊 Will definitely be back.

Portion seemed smaller but it was nice

I never leave reviews but I had to this time. I got macaroni cheese, plantain, fried dumpling and large curry mutton with rice and peas. The fried dumpling was huge, the plantain was perfect (chewy but not too soggy, I’m a texture person) the mac and cheese was the best I’ve had from takeaway, the meat was tender and fresh, everything tasted fresh and banging. Prices are reasonable, the curry mutton lasted me 2 days for me. Deffo my fave spot to go now if I want to treat myself!

Definitely not happy with service. I live in a flat, driver called and asked me to come down to the main entrance. Although pregnant I said okay and asked a friend to go down to collect the delivery. When he went down driver had left the food unattended on the floor outside the main entrance! After paying a service charge plus a delivery fee this is unacceptable. First and last time ordering from here.

The food was really good but the food place meed to invest in better food containers the sauce was going through the boxes which was making it hard to eat.

The mac and cheese wasn't nice, the red bream, rice and peas and dumpling were really nice.

Tried the mutton soup & mutton patty for the first time. Won't be the last, my three year old son couldn't get enough. Curry mutton & curry chicken was spot on as usual. Sexy juice is gorgeous :)

Rice and peas was quite dry and the carrots in the mac and cheese were way too crunchy in contrast with the soft pasta and cheese other than that the food was delicious 😋

I’ve never really had a complaint about this place before, but I’ve got to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment. I had ordered a meal which the girl who was serving got partially wrong even though she repeated back to me. The worst part of it was the tiny portion of cabbage tasted and smelled sour and the whole thing was dry- had to throw most of the meal away. It was appalling!!

I have chosen 1* as 0 was not available. I placed an order here through Just Eat and my food never came but was shown as delivered! I called the shop and they were unhelpful. They told me I would have to go through Just Eat as this was not their driver. I have complained through Just Eat, another unhelpful service, but I feel the restaurant could have been more helpful about the situation.

Delicious fresh food and good portions

I've used this place numerous times before. The tall Gentleman (owner?) and his more experienced colleagues are charming & respectful and the food lovely. I cycled 5 miles especially & I'm nearly 60, so it's an effort. However, today the girl who was supposed to be taking orders was too busy being chatted up by a married man (yep..he told her that, immediately before saying what a lovely smile she had and she swooned!!!). It was clear to her I was waiting for about 10 minutes while she was busy flirting - but then, I'm not black or white. I'm just Asian and I'm kinda tired of what appeared to be the casual racism that rendered me invisible. Or she's just a young girl who needs to grow up. I told her I'm going and she said sorry - I also told her tell her Dad they've lost a customer. I'm sure she probably thought nothing more of it.
