Disappointed with the Cheeseburger Experience Visited recently for a quick takeaway and was quite let down by the food. I ordered a cheeseburger that cost £15, and honestly, it wasn’t worth it. The patty was incredibly small and thin—looked like it cost £3 to make, max. For that price, you'd expect something more substantial, maybe even gourmet and menu says its a gourmet burger. But this wasn't even close. The burger lacked flavor, was bland, and didn’t feel fresh or homemade. It didn’t live up to the price or even basic expectations. The service itself was good, no complaints there. However, the atmosphere wasn't great—we were seated right next to the checkout area, which made it feel cramped and uncomfortable. Overall, I left disappointed. If you’re charging that much for a burger, it should at least taste good and feel worth the money. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

Staff were great but the food was awful. I had high hopes for this place, sadly I was disappointed by almost everything I ordered. The jerk chicken was tough and could barely chew it. The rice and peas were dry and tasted old and reheated. Coleslaw was okay. I ordered Pina colada too which was basically warm milk in a glass with whipped cream on top. The only decent thing was the spicy chips.

It isn’t the largest venue so booking before hand would be recommend. I ordered curry mutton rice and peas. Prices aren’t the cheapest for items and the sides have to be paid for as an extra. But the streamed veg was included The rice did get over cooked a bit as it had a burnt taste. I saw the loaded fries and it was a big size. The juice was slightly disappointing it was syrup was water. Nezha and Hanan — severed us and they were nice. Especially Nezha she looked after us well and we were a big group so thank you and well done to Nezha. Not impressed with the allergen booklet and when questioned what the ingredients contained to double check a clear answer could not be given. So quite worrying for people who have (severe) allergies and intolerance. The vegetarian options was poor too there was only one meal and some sides.

This place is just beautiful. So aesthetically pleasing but the food matches the aesthetic perfectly. The customer service was brilliant as soon as we walked in, we were seated straight away and all the service was quick including the food coming out. All the staff are lovely and helpful! my big respect to the manager Mya who’s customer service is just amazing, going above and beyond for us, and the chef Martin who cooked up some real beautiful dishes. The curry mutton and jerk chops were ordered, both meats were stunning and full of flavour, the mutton fell apart, not at all chewy. We will definitely be back again and again for this food, quality and quantity is both on point! and the price of everything is amazing. Thank you so much Kitchen Co x

Went to this restaurant on Thursday for my birthday. Was only two of us and the restaurant was not that busy at the time. The service was fantastic, Megan was very knowledgeable of the menu and made some recommendations. The food was tasty. The price is reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family based on my visit I have no complaints. I had left over food and the takeaway packaging provided was also very good.

Everything was seasoned perfectly. ive struggled to find an authentic Jamaican restaurant in Birmingham, but the food here is amazing. The jerk was actually smoked on a bbq and so spicy. The curry goat is super flavourful and tastes like a bowl you could get in St Elizabeth. I’ll be a regular

Great find in Solihull. We went for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Mocktails were lovely,😋 not sickly sweet like some establishments.Curry mutton and Oxtail were bang belly delicious. 😋😋Followed by carrot cake, great portion size, we shared,good job we did, moreish 😋😋😋😋Staff were friendly and polite, menu selection, something there for everyone! Will definitely try their takeaway soon.

We had a wonderful time here! We came for a family celebration. The staff were lovely (Maya and Meghan). We loved the space and music. Wonderful food! Something for everyone and great prices for the portions. The food was well seasoned and the hungry-plate deal was great as everyone could have a bit of everything. We didn’t get rushed off the table (it wasn’t a busy evening) which gave us a nice private dining experiences in the corner booth. We’ll definitely return!

Originally ordered from the Hagley Road takeaway branch absolutely beautiful food so we tried the actual restaurant and again food is amazing even down to the presentation..the two lovely ladies Megan and Nezha were brilliant and also kid friendly. 5 stars all the way.

We went here for food for my nephews birthday, there was mis communication meaning the booking hadn’t been out in the diary, this wasn’t a problem Maya and her colleague quickly moved a few things around and made room for us. I'd highly recommend this place. When we arrived there was no one else in the restaurant, which is an instant alarm for me, I have no idea why there were no other diners, my only thought is that not enough people know about this place...... It was our first time, so the waitress suggested we try a platter which pretty much gives you a taste of everything. I chose the mutton curry. The Mutton was very tender, all of the food was excellent, value for money was also very good. We couldn't eat anymore food and we'd spend £16 each, which included a drink. Definitely worth another visit. It's just a shame more people don't know about the place.
