we came for a few drinks after dinner else where and it was amazing! will definately be back again and looking forward to trying out the food! service from Keisha and Kae wa superb! so friendly and welcoming and happy to help us with anything! Thanks for the great experience all xx

Booked a table for 14 people- spoke on the phone twice to restaurant . Then arrived and was told we would spilt over tables with some sitting either in a booth diagonal or behind. They took deposit and I’m now waiting for it back. We booked as a family birthday and wanted to be sat together- no one once mentioned this on the phone either time. Totally poor service. Who would think it’s acceptable that anyone would want to split their party up.

Food was great and staff were lovely(david and sim in particular ) They were helpful and friendly with both me and my friend

Sim and David were amazing! very attentive and answered any questions we had food was very nice and hot. would recommend the chicken burgers and jerk fries

David was a wonderful host and made sure we were well attended to. Great food, great atmosphere!

Me and my partner ate in, id like to give massive credit to the staff at jamaya! So friendly and polite, a lovely young girl served us on Tuesday 8th April, about 8:30pm! The food was lovely, flavours were banging. Atmosphere is very relaxing, loved all the songs they played! Mocktails were refreshing too. We will definitely be back soon. Nice and clean too. They acknowledge food allergies straight away which is lovely to hear. Not a bad word to say over here . Thank you!

Great place to eat in or take out, much prefer to Nandos. Food tastes much better imo. Staff are all friendly especially Simone who I’ve seen on the last couple of visits. And of course the jerk spice is 👌👌👌

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly without being intrusive. Their service was genuinely seamless and added so much to the overall enjoyment of our meal. The food, of course, was delicious and bursting with flavour—but it was the combination of great food, incredible service, and such a lovely atmosphere that made it a standout experience for all of us. Thank you, Jamaya, for a fantastic evening—we’ll definitely be back!

This was our first visit to Jamaya, and it definitely won’t be our last. The service was great, the atmosphere was lovely, and… oh, the food! We tried a few different things from the menu, and every mouthful was a taste sensation. We can’t wait to visit again.

My wife and I often eat at Jamaya, we like the laid back atmosphere and good food. I am a vegetarian but always enjoy their meat-free options and Red Stripe lager.. David was very attentive and offered a great service. would highly recommend.

Recently moved to Solihull and been looking for a local spot to bring all my friends. Finally found it, this place is amazing. Best chicken I've ever had paired with the best waitress I've ever had... Amanda was such a professional and she was so lovely and attentive. She really made the experience worthwhile. Leeah was exceptional with her service in Solihull Jamaya branch. She made sure we were well looked after and also she ensured that we were served and regularly checked on. The food was tasty - the restaurant has a very good vibe to it with a wide variety of food available that is good for family or big groups.

Food was stun, would have like to have seen some curry goat on the menu but the chicken rice and peas was lovely. David attended to us during our visit and was excellent in assisting us. Would definitely recommend!

Really tasty. We had brown stew, mac n cheese and chicken tenders. Everything was well spiced ( or not for the sake of the children). Great value for money. Would eat here again.
