I review sourdough loaves for the public in Cmbirdgeshre. I purchased a sourdough granary style loaf (1100) this morning ( 06.01.220. The weight of the loaf was 772g. It was a disappointing purchase. Clearly this loaf had not been baked freshly today. The crust was tough, very difficult to slice and probably a day old. The crumb was dense and the flavour was weak. By weight was this a large loaf or small? The cost was £4,60 expensive for the size of the loaf. I will not be returning to purchase a sourdough loaf again. There are bakeries in the area that produce delightful sourdough -larger loaves, better flavour, crumb and better value for money. I wish this new venture well but they do need to improve on quality and freshness.

I much prefer the cafe at the St Ives Morrisons, which appears to have more staff. So tables are cleared and cleaned more quickly etc. They also offer free coffee refills!!

Unit 1 Long Barn North EndI got married recently (26th June) and ordered my wedding cake from Mary. Wow!!!! I wasn't disappointed. I asked for the bottom tier to be a Victoria Sponge, the middle tier was a light fruit cake and the top tier was a Lemon drizzle cake. Everyone who had a piece kept complimenting on how tasty and moist the cake was I gave Mary a piece of ribbon for my colour scheme and she got it just right. The edible roses on the cake were amazing. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mary at all. Beautiful cake which made a special day even better. Thank you xx

Ermine StreetBeen there many times 😁. Just had a takeaway. Cheese burger. Chicken nuggets and chips. Has a decent size carpark.
