McDonald's in South Cambridgeshire

Excellent customer service and very friendly staff and the food was so tasty.

Staff were busy, but served quickly. I haven't had a McDonald's in a while, and won't be back soon. The burgers are tiny! The Big Mac is more like a Small Mac. Way over priced for what you get. I remember the good old days when McDonald's was value for money.

What a shambles... Waited over half an hour for food and the hot drinks needed to be remade. Management were scruffy and the general staff looked completely withdrawn and vacant. Been to so many macdonalds over the years and this is in the top 5 worst ones. Will keep driving next time!

Always the service it's a mess and slow, and atmosphere well, too many people but no too bad

The service was quick but the food was not up to standard. It was cold when i got it and fell apart when trying to pick it up.

It may have been the time of night we visited, but the service was slow, considering it wasn't that busy. Food was OK. It's a service station, so what atmosphere.

Put too much ketchup on my food never ordering ketchup on my burger again

what the sus is going on! first they gave me my order (which was a watery caramel frappe) then they didn’t give my business partner her order!! we complained and the poor teenager at the front was sweating balls. we waited for forty minutes for a god forsaken bacon roll and another caramel frappe, WHICH the woman refused to put cream on because she is a conniving dictator. after we collected our stinking food, we went to sit down, but it appeared that half the seat had been gobbled up by grimace so we had to sit at a bar. upon opening the wretched order, the immediate stench hit me and my business associate like a dump truck and killed her. the odour was in fact caused by the TERRIBLE sauce to bacon ratio - which, by the way, was BROWN and not the ketchup which was requested by my associate. terrible terribleness. a ghastly institution clearly outshined by its neighbour quicksilver - will not be returning in my next business trip.

Really slow....waited so long for my food.... everything but the fries was cold.... even the coffee was cold (not iced coffee)

To start with, I arrived to the restaurant and started to order just to find my very vegetarian sister could NOT order her veggie dippers as a happy meal and we i fact had to order at the till. This upset her as we had already ordered most of our food at the machine so we had to delete all are hard work anf progress jus for her to not starve .second of all I was extremely disappointed and let down by the lack of sauce is my chicken anc bacon ceasar wrap and it really ruined my day and brought me close to crying as I was really looking forward for some saucy chick js to find my chicken was as dry and the moon. I am so so so dissapointed and honestly might have to see a therapist to get over the experience

Waited 20 minutes for my food. Young foreign girl called Lafesha was staring at me and laughing when i asked how long my food was going to take after waiting for 10 minutes, manager clearly did not care.

Drive through took 20 minutes. All food cold when finally handed over.

Busy evening, and shocked to see a manager named Rachel who yelled and screamed at someone full beam, the trainer girl on the other side kept asking ( the guy that rachel screamed if he was alright ) shouldn't anyone said something to her. What a horrible thing to see, I've been coming here occasionally and she's always in a horrible mood the way she talks to her staff members and customers absolutely outrageous. Seniors of the place is this how you let someone talk to your staff? Please have a word with her I only feel sorry for the staff at this point. Staff must be scared!!!!

Food was OK, service was slow, and the atmosphere was noisy due to crying kids.

We stopped off at the Drive Through part of Macdonald's and purchased X1 regular chocolate milkshake and X1 cold coffee.

Pity no receipts from the screen I used.

MC Donna's is McDonald's, it's clean enough, cheap enough and a quick/temporary plaster for hunger.

Probably one of the worst McDonald's I've been to, I never leave negative reviews, especially for a McDonald's of all places but felt I had to after waiting 19 minutes for a quarter pounder meal and mcflurry when it wasn't particularly busy. As an ex McDonald's employee (albeit 10 years ago), anyone waiting over 300 seconds (5 minutes) was rare but it seems normal at this one.

Came specifically for the "limited time" grimace shake just for it to be "unavailable" very unhappy child.

We got the wrong order & myself & granddaughter were extremely ill 2 hours later , underwhelmed

Extremely busy venue, possibly as just after major delay on road. Staff almost invisible, possibly as overwhelmed by trade. Only wanted drinks but waited an age and could see the drinks standing to be served. On return to get milk waited, then ended up reaching behind counter to help myself!! Assume there was a management problem, or staff shortage on the day. The only plus point is that McD in England is much cheaper than in Europe from which we were returning.

Awful 3 for £3 late meal Cambridge services, fries cold, hard, chipboard. Tasteless chicken (????) mayo and hamburger. Really upset stomach, ill this morning with diahorrea and vomiting. I will NEVER eat Macdonalds again. A rare event but not to be repeated. Since when have food standards been so low???

Literally the slowest McDonald’s in the world

The worst one I've seen. Plenty of staff but loads of orders being messed up. Order numbers going from 'preparing' to 'collect' to completely disappearing from the screen but the meal is nowhere to be seen. People complaining but staff don't seem bothered. I asked for a fresh coffee as it had sat there for ages without being served to me and the staff's response was "it's still hot". I didn't ask how hot it was. The customer service here is not good. What happened to get it right or put it right. Somebody is responsible for this shambles. The egg was nice.

Absolutely the worst McDonalds I've ever been to! Visited this morning at 10am and I do appreciate it was a busy Bank Holiday but omg, the service was so slow! I've never been to a McDonalds where I've seen staff literally just standing and waiting around! The amount of people questioning where their order was was shocking. I waited 15 minutes for standard mcmuffin meals and a porridge, and when it was finally given to me, the coffee was cold (to which I asked if a new one could be done and got "it should be hot enough" as a reply), the syrup and jam was missing, and no spoon was provided. I've never seen such a sorry bunch of young people looking bored out of their skills standing around like they have nothing to do! Sort it out Maccies....this branch is shameful.

McDonald's is really losing the edge. There seems to be an ever increasing barrier between customers and the business. Food was ok but customer service and vibe is really cold and lacked a smile

Been here a few times recently and it's always been very busy. On this occasion we arrived mid morning and it seemed reasonably quiet, however service was quite slow. Not so fast food!

Only place open at 1am. So can’t really complain. Fast service even though it was busy. Fries were a bit cardboardy though

The quality of the food is OK. Sometimes burgers are assembled a bit rashly but it's not too bad; if you just shift them around a bit before eating there shouldn't be problems. Large orders take significantly longer than multiple small orders due to the popularity of this location.

We turned up at 10.30am and we're very disappointed that we couldn't buy chips. They were only serving the breakfast menu. So we didn't buy anything.

I visit this place twice a month, Quality and services are degrading day by day. After seeing these fries in today’s order, I will switch to KFC.

This was the absolute worst experience we have had at a mcdonalds. We dont often go to them but as a Sunday post fishing treat for my son he wanted to stop in so we did, he ordered a bacon double cheese burger with no sauses, pickel, onions, and it come out with sauses and onions, the fries were basically still raw and unseasond, milkshakes were just awful, not even full cups and the strawberry flavouring was just floating on the top of a unfrozen milk slosh. I don't know how they get away with serving such rubbish. You should be ashamed of what you are putting out.

McDonald's Cambridge Services was the only place we could find food and hot drinks on the M1 part of our journey at 3.30am. Other service stations we passed were closed for food (toilet facilities only). It was clean but service was lacking: everyone was tired at that time of the morning.

It's the usual McDonald's experience, except service station standard, so slightly worse. And there's lots of horrible people it seems as customers at the service station. I saw lots of not so English youths harassing people and standing on top of their cars and driving around.

It's McDonald's you get what you get. Sometimes food is hot sometimes cold. That's the golden arches for you.

Modern MacDonald's never fail to disappoint. Consistent the world over. Terrible terrible food, that's now over priced. Love it.

Atrocious service. I waited 10 minutes for a single McCrispy meal. I had to ask twice before anyone even considered looking for my food. What I finally got was a dry piece of chicken on a bun that was both burnt and stale. My drink, which I had specified on the kiosk order to have no ice, had ice in it, which had mostly melted during the 10 minute wait. I don't expect McDonalds to be fine dining, but this was an embarrassment.

There was a guy named Anup. He was great human being and was so kind. Loved the place and time spent there.

Very good parking, quiet and large shower, toilet, I went to McDonald's. Thanks to all the staff and management of this establishment and parking lot. There is a room for prayer for Muslims here. I am very pleased with you, I spent the night here for almost three days, went and prayed, respect to you.

Worst service ever had. The supervisor wasn’t really doing the job. Had to wait 30 min for 2 drinks. And they dont have the enough manners to ask the problems

Stopped en route to Felixstowe, to be honest I wish I hadn't bothered! Food was cold, odd considering it looked as though it had been cooked for hours! Chips were cold and also looked like they had been reheated! Served pretty quickly considering how many people were waiting! Disappointed for a McDonald's to be perfectly honest! Won't be in a rush to go back!

Quick service and great food. Really enjoyed their Mcplant. A typical fast food restaurant. The tables were clean.

It is a motorway services McDonalds. Not that many self ordering screens but having said that, I didn't see anyone waiting for one to come free. Service was quick, much quicker than the ones I have used in the south of England, and the food was nice and hot. Nice outside eating area which we took advantage of.

We pre-booked and pre-ordered for our group, the food was good but service was slow. We had asked if we could pay separately and this was agreed when we booked. This was not possible when we came to pay and the man that we took to be the manager was most confrontational and unhelpful.

Service is awful. Clearing orders off and saying there ready before items are even made, so making up orders from receipts this caused multiple orders to be wrong including my own. I took my order back and asked then to remake my order and it was made wrong again. It was a double quarter pounder with no changes it wasn't like I was asking for multiple elements to be changed just a simple double quarter pounder.

McDonald's prices higher than your normal high street. Service quite quick, loads of seating, downside all rubbish bins were over flowing which was very disappointing.

Very busy , it took quite a while to get the food , I felt a bit sorry for the lad who had to pass the food over he could have done with a hand but the food was ok when we got it .

I only went here, as it was the only place open for a coffee at 3.00 o'clock in the morning.

Nice and clean, staff friendly and helpful and the food was what you would expect. Would use again.

All as you'd expect except that your number came up on the screen saying your meal was ready to collect long before it actually was. I guess they were fiddling the stats.

Ordered on the App went to waiting area see my order on screen preparing, then changed to collect. Then about for other orders including mine disappeared off screen. So waited did appear again so went to counter. And asked about my order manager said someone must have taken it, that definitely wasn't the case. But no worries they prepared me a fresh order.

Worse McDonald's I've been in. Missing items from order, cold and stale fries, wrong item with happy meal. Also men's urinals all taped up . Won't be going back

I appreciate you guys are very busy but last night whoever made 2 simple burgers for me put the actual wrapper INSIDE my burger so when I was driving the mayo went all over me and my car ! What's more as I couldn't see in the dark I ended up eating some of the paper not realising it was inside the burger ! The buns I had were not fresh either, they were stale and hard. People PAY well above the price for good food please remember that with every meal ! Also when there is a swamp of customers waiting it's impossible to hear a tiny voice calling out a number, perhaps have a seperate LED display to reitterate the number thats being called or have a machine to call out the numbers !
