Need to repair the game tablets for kids. Otherwise overall service and people are very nice.

Stopped on the way back from the coast for something to eat, chips were limp and cold and the milkshakes were runny think I'll just carry on home next time we pass

Stopped for a wee and bought some drinks and they were served very quickly!!

Mcdonald on the caxton gibet services is a 24hr drive thru with cloud wifi has all the usual instore services with the totum ordering boards and table service can be very busy at times with other stores on the site car parking is tight some disabaled parking spaces are nearby but are shared by the neighouring units staff are frendly and helpfull but can be rushed at busy times two hours free parking check the notice for any changes.

The frappe machine always seems to be broken

Unfortunately this place has seen better days. 9 out of 10 orders are wrong, items missing or simply wrong order delivered. Was given a box of chicken selects with bits of ketchup all over it. Staff appearance is appalling, long hairs and beards all over the place. Even seen a server more concerned with her fake lashes than serving the order she had ready in front of her for 5 minutes. From bad to worse as they say.

I had a great experience at McDonald's! The service was quick and friendly, the food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Perfect for a quick, satisfying meal.

Service was dreadful. Food the usual. They passed our allotted order number and when we enquired about ours the chap just grunted. 9 servings passed and we got our food without even an apology. 22 mins from order and it was pretty quiet on the day too.

I write this review as I am sat waiting for my food, once again being asked to park up. I don't live far from this McDonalds and I could count on 3 fingers the times when I've been served my food at the window. Every other time it's "can you park up". The worst part about it is, I know you guys do this to fake the wait times of the laser as I've overheard members of staff talking about this before. Corporate need to see this and take action. The fact you tell every car to park up for their food so it seems like you are serving them quicker is horrendous. Not to mention its always cold as you bunch together a bunch of orders to take out. Done. Drive-thru was missing part of my order. And the pot of sauce for the chicken selects and the lady at the drive-thru was too busy talking over to actually listen to the order terrible experience

Mc Donald's burgers have changed. They taste like dry cardboard. The cheese was like bright yellow plastic and tasted like plastic. There was very little ketchup, no salad, etc. I will NOT be buying one again. Extremely disappointed.

Slow service and order was short of food paid for! Eventually resolved after twice having to go back to counter! They weren't particularly busy for 10:30 at night on a Saturday!!!

For a quick meal on your way home you can't fault this place. Most importantly though is that they do check on you to make sure you are happy with your order, help you tidy up after, and obviously care about customer service.

Got told to park up and wait for food despite been no spaces so pulled into a disabled space now a fine absolutely ridiculous place

Ordered just now through click and collect and waited over 20 minutes to receive the food but ended up having to walk in to collect it as they were not bringing it out. When I got my order it was not what I’ve ordered and was missing sauces for my chicken selects and only had 4 selects in a 5 meal. There was no one in the parking lot waiting so there was no reason for the wait. Will not return.

Friendly service, fresh hot fast food. Clean restaurant and toilets. Perfect pitstop spot.

Felt like it’s been run by kids. first asked for a cold coffee when I got to the window he said that the machine is broken so took it into his own hands to make decision to what I was drinking got on the motorway to find out that my order was wrong for the second time thought the first time was just a mistake but for the second time! RUN BUY KIDS.

Absolutely shocking staff arguing and food going cold , finally got food to find fries greasy and not cooked did get them replaced with hot fries by one polite female staff member who seemed to be doing everything .... tables full of rubbish and dirty not been cleaned even though not busy. .

These guys are incapable of fulfilling an order without forgetting something. Every single time. The one thing they never forget is to charge you for it. Update many months later. Nothing has changed. Still cannot serve a meal without missing an item

Just visited this McDonald's 24hr and not for the first time the staff are sat there doing nothing with the doors closed. And the drive through blocked off. Absolute joke all need to be sacked. Food is usually dry and over cooked too

At the time I went, around 12. It was quick service. Was worried about the large queue but the staff quickly and efficiently managed to work through it. Well co-ordinated team.

The place is not getting chip serving size correct. Their large and small sizes are the same serving size.

McPlant Burger was a state (cheese wasnt even in the burger and was stuck to inside of box) ...also lukewarm. Chips pale and floppy..also cold. No apple in the apple pie. Overall 1/10

One of the worse Mcdonalds in Cambridgeshire. According to the staff in the Mcdonalds store The franchisee / owner never wants to spend money to fix the store. The milkshake machine ice cream machine always broken and today they had no burgers no filet meals. Avoid this store Or you will be disappointed.

Drive through is utterly useless. They seem completely incapable of processing an order in a timely manner. Always sent to park up and wait while they let the food cool down before bringing it out to you. Avoid as definitely not a ‘fast food’ outlet.

We arrived and placed an app order. We received the food after 15 minutes after being told to park up. We then realised that three burgers were completely wrong (mayo chicken) had ketchup and mustard in it? No Mayo? And then waited another 15 minutes in our car for them to change our order? Very confusing. And wasted time.

Could do a lot better. They manage it in Europe.

Worse Mc Donalds ever, they never have shakes and ice creams. They do not care. The machine is always out of order. This is happening for the last 18 months

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want their parking contractors MET Parking to fabricate penalty charges. I visited the drive thru twice in one day and they decided to only use the entrance time of my 1st visit and the exit time of my 2nd visit to say I had overstayed and give me a fine. McDonalds won't help, the charlatans at MET Parking just claim there is no other footage of my vehicle when there 100% would be. How is this even legal!!!! I am now being taken to court over this, absolutely shocking!!!!

A great McDonald's. We always stop here and never lets us down. Service is friendly and swift and accurate. Food is always hot. Premises are clean. Self service sugar, milk, napkins, etc.

Caxton Gibbet McDonald's is the most hit or miss one I've ever been to. Chaotic staff make you park up and send some poor kid into the cold with your food instead of getting orders out as they go through the drive through. Chips are often cold, limp, unsalted or a combination of the three. They've actually forgotten to bring our order out a few times and we've had to go in and chase them for it. Not ideal 🤷‍♀️

1st time ever seeing a member of staff going around the whole restaurant asking if their meals are ok. Food was a lot better here too. Chips were hot and burger was made well. 👍👍👍👍👍

Standard service from McDonald's that we all know. Hit and miss with customer interaction.

Grabbed a couple of CheeseBurgs from here via the Drive Thru. It was fairly busy but the Staff were friendly and welcoming and had my order ready by the time I'd got to the window (mere seconds btw). Would happily stop here again but would expect to spend a bit of time queuing to get back out onto the road during busier times.

What a joke ordered food from self service waited 20 mins for a bacon cheese and a coke with no ice which was only half full. When I asked about it not being full I was told I must have drunk it by a very rude member of staff who had no idea what he was doing. I was offended as he had basically called me a liar staff were smoking out the front of store very rude I will not be going back I was there on 28th march between 10 and eleven the staff member was on front desk. Very rude big tall intimidating guy

Went to this McDonalds drive thru for breakfast. Got the wrong item - a muffin instead of the wrap I ordered. Didn't get the extra hash brown I paid for. Got a black coffee with no sugar, when I'd ordered a white coffee with sugar. Terrible service.

5 out of 8 times we have come to this McDonald's over the last 5 months. The milk-shake and ice cream machine is broken.

Being a local I have given this McDonald’s too many chances thinking it might improve! It’s the worst one I have ever been to. If you go through the drive through they always get your order wrong. There’s always missing food when we get home. Tonight the chips in both containers were less than half full, soggy and undercooked. The burgers were dry with hardly any lettuce/sauce inside and they left our order sitting on the counter for at least 20 minutes so everything was cold and the mcflurries were melted. It’s disgusting and I won’t return now. Everyone local I know says the same. Whoever is in charge of the franchises in this area needs to go to this one and sort it out as it’s a disaster.

Two people waiting over an 30 minutes for simple coffee order in the morning when wasn’t busy at all. Not interested in the people asking for order or nothing, had to cancel my order after 34 minutes of waiting and not even apologi was said. Never again

Me and my colleague go here after work slmeoand everytime the staff are extremely rude and our orders have been wrong multiple times. Food is just like any maccies but do not go here !!!

The drive through was unattended for 4 mins then the queue was 6 cars long . It’s the worst one o have ever visited but on my way home … I often have to pull over / park up to receive food 9/10 and they haven’t had ice cream or milk shakes for over a year

I'm thoroughly fed up of going to a McD's drive thru and them taking the money and asking you to park up ... it's a great way of hiding how long the queue is and the food then gets a tour around the car park while the server looks for the car. The food is invariably COLD! ... The milkshake is invariably melted ... and the whole experience is exceptionally unpleasant. This is exactly the experience here tonight. Ended up throwing half the order away as it was awful.

Has to be the worst drive through MacDonalds in the world, every single time I have to wait for food in the car park for 15 mins. Then when you do get the food it's bl##dy cold, I wouldn't come even visit this restaurant but its the only one on my route, I may not even bother again in future.

Absolutely the worst MC Donald's I've ever visited! We are not from around there, I watched them slap the burgers into the buns with no care. When I asked for BBQ sauce like I ALWAYS HAVE AT MC DONALD'S FRANCHISES, I was told by a little boy that worked behind the till that will be an extra 10p for sauce! What the hell??? I said you're literally the only MC Donald's that charges for sauces and his reply was MC Donald's have been charging for sauce for 8 months now! In every MC Donald's we go to we have NEVER EVER been told to pay for the sauces!! Once we actually tucked into our meal it was so bland, no sauce in the burgers! The meat tasted like cardboard it was horrendous. WORST MC DONALD'S EVER!!

That’s it. Last time. £26 for three meals, should have checked my order before I left but I didn’t (can only put that down to being in shock because the milkshake machine was actually working). Got home to find there were only two meals in the bag, not three, and one straw for three drinks - rang to complain, was offered a code for a free meal next time we visit (how kind), when I asked why this keeps happening and I asked if they had read their customer reviews and shouldn’t they do something to try and improve their customer service, I was dumbfounded to get the response “I have more important things to do than read customer reviews”

This is a MacDonalds - I think it is a good one. Fast service, in my case great company (thanks to little Bro and Big Sis) and the food is as expected. Will return when it is convenient but not normally out that way...

Thought we would pop & get some food on way home from Family visit.. Place was 1/4 full. One member staff on tills. When food was brought to table the happy meal was cold.. chips were YUK!! Complained straight away and was given more chips..by this time felt it was going to be a bad decision stopping there. Boxed salad wasnt fresh.. a bit dry.!. So Caxton Gibbet bit of a gloomy thought & it sure was !!@ dont bother going there it was a waste of time and Money!!

Iv been here a handful of times now and every time I order food for my family it is always wrong. I made it clear no pickles as allergies with them and still get em. Food is cold and tastes like rubber.
