Been there many times 😁. Just had a takeaway. Cheese burger. Chicken nuggets and chips. Has a decent size carpark.

It's always slow to get an order . got to check this place out to see if they have done your order correctly as items Always missing. They seem to concentrate more on food app drivers than walk in customers

Food is never fresh. Something is always missing. This is genuinely the worst mcdonalds consistently failing. Poor management skills

Need to repair the game tablets for kids. Otherwise overall service and people are very nice.

Extremely busy, but wait for food wasn't too bad. Found it difficult to get a seat. Was clean and tidy

No problems with service or food, but the smell of human faeces as you walked in was awful. Mens toilet closed.

Can not believe someone can not count till 3! Waiting a lot for my order until the staff ( 2 young fella’s and a bird talking bull…) then ask what I’m waiting for! Menu missing a drink! So hard to check 3 item! Feel sorry for the management!

We just popped in for a quick pitstop as our little one was getting hangry. Not only was the service quick and efficient, they interacted with our little one and helped distract him from his hangry mood.

Involved in Modern Slavery on BBC 1 aired on 30/9. Didn’t spot 4 employees using same bank account and more. Food can be patchy quality especially at 6am. Otherwise a normal fast food joint.

This branch was found guilty of human trafficking and slavery. The victims - who were all vulnerable, most having experienced homelessness or addiction - earned at least the legal minimum wage, but nearly all of their pay was stolen by the gang. While they lived on a few pounds a day in cramped accommodation - including a leaking shed and an unheated caravan - police discovered their work was funding luxury cars, gold jewellery and a property in the Czech Republic for the gang. On several occasions, victims escaped and fled home only to be tracked down and trafficked back to the UK. Victims’ wages were paid into bank accounts in other people’s names. At the McDonald’s, at least four victims’ wages - totalling £215,000 - were being paid into one account, controlled by the gang Victims were unable to speak English, and job applications were completed by a gang member, who was even able to sit-in on job interviews as a translator Victims worked extreme hours at the McDonald’s - up to 70 to 100 a week. One victim worked a 30-hour shift. The UN’s International Labour Organization says excessive overtime is an indicator of forced labour Multiple employees had the same registered address. “It really concerns me that so many red flags were missed, and that maybe the companies didn’t do enough to protect vulnerable workers,” said Dame Sara Thornton, the former independent anti-slavery commissioner, who reviewed the BBC’s findings. Det Sgt Chris Acourt, who led the Cambridgeshire Police investigation, said there were “massive opportunities” that were missed to detect the slavery and alert authorities sooner.

Horrible parking service. They’re eager to serve PCN for overstaying for 10 mins regardless of your circumstances. What a shame for McDonald’s.

Order taken wrong, read back in a confusing way which is why I didn't correct the mistake. Food took 20minutes to come out from the drive through. Burger squashed and barely warm. Same for the chips. Still better than my last visit here, when my order was "lost". I only got my food that time after I went in and asked for it. On a positive note, I think this visit has given me the motivation to stop eating fast food all together.

One of the worst MD’s I been to. Ordered a drive thru - no Fanta so ask for Coke Zero as part of meal deal, went to pick up food and told to “park up if you don’t mind” despite no spaces available (cars waiting for spaces already) - I’d prefer not to I replied so the rude young woman told me I have to. Twenty mins later I receive cold food and a 7up. McDonald's is no longer fast food. Very poor systems now you’re usually told to “park up”. Avoid this one.

Good place to stop and grab something to eat. Took quite a long time whilst there, they seemed busy and understaffed. Didn’t realise until driving away that the order was incorrect and the milkshake was a different flavour. Perhaps could do with more staff working there on a busy weekend, but overall the food we got(!) was actually very nice.

Always make you park up and wait regardless of what you order, staff never seem to be able to identify cars and walk aimlessly round the large car park, allowing food to get cold, very rarely is the milkshake machine working, probably the worse McDonald's I have ever visited, dont even bother to stop now to and from work

As McDonald's go this was pretty good. Can't fault it decent coffee and service.

This review is based on basic hygiene. I noticed that there were absolutely no hairnets for long hair being used, as well as piercings not been taken out. For an environment around food, this is beyond unacceptable. - Edit: On my recent visit, there has been some improvement on the concern addressed above from last year. However, the food was not great. The fries were stale and the rest of the food was not even close to hot enough. Hopefully this does not happen often. The food quality on this occasion was disappointing.

Drive thru left us short one burger. Every time we go to McDonald's it happens.

Clean and tidy, some bloke on the go all the time we were there, clearing and wiping tables. My coffee cane out cold but was changed with no issues

Very good service, clean restaurant and food was cooked well.

Stopped on the way back from the coast for something to eat, chips were limp and cold and the milkshakes were runny think I'll just carry on home next time we pass

Stopped for a wee and bought some drinks and they were served very quickly!!

Mcdonald on the caxton gibet services is a 24hr drive thru with cloud wifi has all the usual instore services with the totum ordering boards and table service can be very busy at times with other stores on the site car parking is tight some disabaled parking spaces are nearby but are shared by the neighouring units staff are frendly and helpfull but can be rushed at busy times two hours free parking check the notice for any changes.

Food was ok but took a while even though it wasn't very busy

Unfortunately this place has seen better days. 9 out of 10 orders are wrong, items missing or simply wrong order delivered. Was given a box of chicken selects with bits of ketchup all over it. Staff appearance is appalling, long hairs and beards all over the place. Even seen a server more concerned with her fake lashes than serving the order she had ready in front of her for 5 minutes. From bad to worse as they say.

I had a great experience at McDonald's! The service was quick and friendly, the food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Perfect for a quick, satisfying meal.

This is one of the better Mcdonald's. Don't like when they park you up, it seems to happen too many times.

Service was dreadful. Food the usual. They passed our allotted order number and when we enquired about ours the chap just grunted. 9 servings passed and we got our food without even an apology. 22 mins from order and it was pretty quiet on the day too.

I write this review as I am sat waiting for my food, once again being asked to park up. I don't live far from this McDonalds and I could count on 3 fingers the times when I've been served my food at the window. Every other time it's "can you park up". The worst part about it is, I know you guys do this to fake the wait times of the laser as I've overheard members of staff talking about this before. Corporate need to see this and take action. The fact you tell every car to park up for their food so it seems like you are serving them quicker is horrendous. Not to mention its always cold as you bunch together a bunch of orders to take out. It's a standard McDs what more can I say!

Done. Drive-thru was missing part of my order. And the pot of sauce for the chicken selects and the lady at the drive-thru was too busy talking over to actually listen to the order terrible experience

Mc Donald's burgers have changed. They taste like dry cardboard. The cheese was like bright yellow plastic and tasted like plastic. There was very little ketchup, no salad, etc. I will NOT be buying one again. Extremely disappointed.

For a quick meal on your way home you can't fault this place. Most importantly though is that they do check on you to make sure you are happy with your order, help you tidy up after, and obviously care about customer service.

Slow service and order was short of food paid for! Eventually resolved after twice having to go back to counter! They weren't particularly busy for 10:30 at night on a Saturday!!!

Friendly service, fresh hot fast food. Clean restaurant and toilets. Perfect pitstop spot.

Ordered just now through click and collect and waited over 20 minutes to receive the food but ended up having to walk in to collect it as they were not bringing it out. When I got my order it was not what I’ve ordered and was missing sauces for my chicken selects and only had 4 selects in a 5 meal. There was no one in the parking lot waiting so there was no reason for the wait. Will not return.

Felt like it’s been run by kids. first asked for a cold coffee when I got to the window he said that the machine is broken so took it into his own hands to make decision to what I was drinking got on the motorway to find out that my order was wrong for the second time thought the first time was just a mistake but for the second time! RUN BUY KIDS.

Absolutely shocking staff arguing and food going cold , finally got food to find fries greasy and not cooked did get them replaced with hot fries by one polite female staff member who seemed to be doing everything .... tables full of rubbish and dirty not been cleaned even though not busy. .

Just visited this McDonald's 24hr and not for the first time the staff are sat there doing nothing with the doors closed. And the drive through blocked off. Absolute joke all need to be sacked. Food is usually dry and over cooked too

These guys are incapable of fulfilling an order without forgetting something. Every single time. The one thing they never forget is to charge you for it. Update many months later. Nothing has changed. Still cannot serve a meal without missing an item

At the time I went, around 12. It was quick service. Was worried about the large queue but the staff quickly and efficiently managed to work through it. Well co-ordinated team.

The place is not getting chip serving size correct. Their large and small sizes are the same serving size.

McPlant Burger was a state (cheese wasnt even in the burger and was stuck to inside of box) ...also lukewarm. Chips pale and floppy..also cold. No apple in the apple pie. Overall 1/10

One of the worse Mcdonalds in Cambridgeshire. According to the staff in the Mcdonalds store The franchisee / owner never wants to spend money to fix the store. The milkshake machine ice cream machine always broken and today they had no burgers no filet meals. Avoid this store Or you will be disappointed.

We arrived and placed an app order. We received the food after 15 minutes after being told to park up. We then realised that three burgers were completely wrong (mayo chicken) had ketchup and mustard in it? No Mayo? And then waited another 15 minutes in our car for them to change our order? Very confusing. And wasted time.

Could do a lot better. They manage it in Europe.

Drive through is utterly useless. They seem completely incapable of processing an order in a timely manner. Always sent to park up and wait while they let the food cool down before bringing it out to you. Avoid as definitely not a ‘fast food’ outlet.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want their parking contractors MET Parking to fabricate penalty charges. I visited the drive thru twice in one day and they decided to only use the entrance time of my 1st visit and the exit time of my 2nd visit to say I had overstayed and give me a fine. McDonalds won't help, the charlatans at MET Parking just claim there is no other footage of my vehicle when there 100% would be. How is this even legal!!!! I am now being taken to court over this, absolutely shocking!!!!

A great McDonald's. We always stop here and never lets us down. Service is friendly and swift and accurate. Food is always hot. Premises are clean. Self service sugar, milk, napkins, etc.

They make you wait for 15 mins on average in the evening.

Caxton Gibbet McDonald's is the most hit or miss one I've ever been to. Chaotic staff make you park up and send some poor kid into the cold with your food instead of getting orders out as they go through the drive through. Chips are often cold, limp, unsalted or a combination of the three. They've actually forgotten to bring our order out a few times and we've had to go in and chase them for it. Not ideal 🤷‍♀️

1st time ever seeing a member of staff going around the whole restaurant asking if their meals are ok. Food was a lot better here too. Chips were hot and burger was made well. 👍👍👍👍👍

Standard service from McDonald's that we all know. Hit and miss with customer interaction.

Grabbed a couple of CheeseBurgs from here via the Drive Thru. It was fairly busy but the Staff were friendly and welcoming and had my order ready by the time I'd got to the window (mere seconds btw). Would happily stop here again but would expect to spend a bit of time queuing to get back out onto the road during busier times.

What a joke ordered food from self service waited 20 mins for a bacon cheese and a coke with no ice which was only half full. When I asked about it not being full I was told I must have drunk it by a very rude member of staff who had no idea what he was doing. I was offended as he had basically called me a liar staff were smoking out the front of store very rude I will not be going back I was there on 28th march between 10 and eleven the staff member was on front desk. Very rude big tall intimidating guy

Went to this McDonalds drive thru for breakfast. Got the wrong item - a muffin instead of the wrap I ordered. Didn't get the extra hash brown I paid for. Got a black coffee with no sugar, when I'd ordered a white coffee with sugar. Terrible service.

Take away... unsatisfied with the fries, cold and soft.
