First time visit . Open Mike night lot of talented people. Got the impression good local pub , not many around these days. Good beer prices , staff good and helpful. I will visit again and recommend. Did not have food

The service and drink were fine. However, it's unfortunate that the condition of the toilet was extremely poor. Maintaining cleanliness and comfort for all customers is crucial, so it's important for businesses to pay attention to every aspect of their establishment. By far the best pub in Brislington. Friendly on every visit and never anh hassle. The beer is brilliant too. A well kept pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord is the icing on the cake

Great night had by all music drinks and banter

After a short closure and a 'holding manager this pub now seems in safe hands. It has good Thatcher's cider, interesting radical magazines and a parrot, (well Bristol is Long John Silver's town). Well worth using.

Was poured a pint of thatchers but the barrel was gone so it was all froth, barman changed barrel and then filled the pint of froth up. When i said could i have a fresh one, he refused and said it just needs time to settle. I took a sip and it tasted of cleaner fluid. He still would not exchange it and just poured it into a different glass, so i had basically paid £4.20 for an undrinkable pint. So for the sake of about a pounds worth of drink. He lost about £100 worth of sales as we were gonna meet friends there but went to the lagnton instead and wont be going back

Nice spot to have a pint after work. Friendly staff and There is little cosy garden. They serve cold Guinness, what else you can ask for.

Very nice pub. One of the nicest I've had a drink in (and beleive me I been in a lot of pubs over the world). Staff and owner are friendly and GOOD however it's worth mentioning Amanda who works rarely but when she does goes above and beyond and offers an OUTSTADNING service but will never accept a nightcap. She is FAB

Lovely intimate pub, new ownership now takes card payments which is brilliant, friendly and welcoming.

New management, friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, fruit machine and food is back. No more cash bar. Nice local that needs to be supported.......

Usually a decent selection of real ales and ciders from across the UK, although a couple of pumps out of action this tea time.

I love this pub. If only I lived nearer. Tonight the beer was first class Courage Best is difficult to keep since it moved North but here it was first class. I washed it down with a pint of St Austell's Proper Job. A hoppy ale that I shall be drinking again ASAP. Unusually, the pub was VERY busy and full of fun.

This pub has a good armosphere on saturday nights and a very welcoming and friendly landlord/lady running it compared to over the years and good selection of cask ales and traditional drinks

A good pub and quite lively when we were in there on a Tuesday night, which was quiz night. Oddly for some reason they don't accept card payments at the bar below £10 so take plenty of cash.

I was very impressed with the Xmas decorations at this pub. Really made an effort and it's good to see a proper pub doing well. Barman was very friendly and welcoming. Drinks are a decent enough price. Interior decor is nice and well maintained.

It's not a bad pub, but Dosent open most evenings, minimum card transaction is a whopping £25. But on the upside, it is a quite pub during the day. They do offer Sunday lunch.... But iv never had it myself.

A nicely situated pub, with a wide selection of beverages at a decent price, the staff were polite and friendly. A quirky little garden to add to an obviously well looked after pub. A nice and comfortable atmosphere within, I would recommend this pub to all drinkers.

Everything you want from a local pub good ale selection and a cosy atmosphere. Open Mic night every Thursday is well attended and attracts a high quality of performance. Quiz every Tuesday evening. The landlord and lady have done a fantastic job of putting their personalities on the place and it's better for it. Crucially it's dog friendly.

Great old pub which has it's own feel and style. It's nice to have a pub which doesn't follow the bland Witherhorse model. Only eaten once and the food was good. Not the cheapest but like I said it's not a Witherhorse .

My dad goes there all the time ! It is not a very expensive pub tho ! The staff are a bit strange you might think but if you go in there often they will get to know you more and you will be friends with them !!!
