Good service, great music, fab atmosphere

Great pub with friendly staff. It's always a pleasure to pop in here for a drink or 2 at excellent prices. Recommend following their facebook page though to see what live bands or entertainment they have on that weekend

Cheap drinks and great bands but Jesus this place needs a bucket of air fresheners.

Smells of wet dog. Beer was OK, though.

Quiet night tonight but genuinely friendly landlady/landlord. Easy going pub. Didn't eat. Great bands on nights when music is on. Probably the most beautiful puppy behind the bar that I have ever seen. Really down to earth pub. Not pretentious, just a proper pub 😁.

First time in the pub really nice people would recommend to sny one

First time of visiting the Black Horse. Went to see the Innes Sibun Blues Band. They were fabulous and there was plenty of room to dance. Met some nice people there, hoping to see them again at future gigs. Will definitely be back to the Black Horse. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

It's a pub which seems great for locals, but not so great for everyone else. They stare when you walk in and the atmosphere isn't very friendly. There were also ants all around the indoor table we were sat at. Plus points - it's cheap and they have a good selection of ciders, including Lilley's Cider.

Popped in on the way to a restaurant and loved the place; really friendly people, lovely atmosphere and great, chilled music. Wanted to stay and listen to the band but had a table booked elsewhere. Will definitely go back if in the area.

We had a really great on Saturday. There was a group of 10 of us there for the football and koroga. The staff were lovely, food was delicious, thanks for a great afternoon!!

Dog friendly pub and they are ok with clientele 😉 Have live bands every other week.

Fantastic Tuesday Blues night. First time attending the pub but will return with my friends. Only £3.75 for a pint of thatchers too, can't moan.

Lovely traditional 'boozer' pub! Really spacious and totally friendly. Only red stripe and fosters are on draught though and I'm not crazy on either, no European beers which is a shame. Other than that it's great and a welcome place to stop. Cards accepted but minimum £5 orders.

The good old Blackhorse.Easy going no hassle pub on main road parking around the back actual real wood burning fire to warm your bones.

This is a really nice family run bar, has lots of events on during the evening including some karoake and bands- the pub is spacious and well kept.

Love this pub. Down to earth traditional pub with landlords to match. Lovely home cooked roasts on a Sunday but no food in the week. good selection of ciders both on pump and bottled. Band every Saturday night and karaoke every Friday night.

Dark dingy and with a distinct feeling that some of the locals could be the artistic basis for a David Lynch film. To be honest this pub is somewhat of a guilty pleasure for me. Plus points are as follows.... Some Saturdays they get half decent bands. Cute lady working behind the bar mousey hair and glasses. Bad points.... Rude if not funny landlord. Faint odour of death.
