An old pub, that's now a new pub, but retains the atmosphere of an old pub. Does that make sense. Along with superb beer, wonderful staff, and probably the best scotch eggs in the world.

First they make it card only, not accepting legal UK banknotes to exclude people then they also say “no AMEX”. Well if I have to use card I prefer using my Amex. Get a grip

Vimos este pub mientras caminábamos a casa y como parecía bien cuidado, decidimos entrar. Es un boozer tradicional del este de Londres con una amplia selección de cervezas, sidras y otras bebidas. Sorprendentemente, no sirven Guinness, sin embargo, la alternativa 'London Black' es algo mejor y más sabroso! El personal era muy servicial en ayudarnos a elegir bebidas. Tomé una pinta de cerveza de sesión pálida y mi esposa tomó una copa del London Black. Las bebidas están bien guardadas en la bodega y se sirven en vasos simples de estilo antiguo, lo que es un buen toque. Los precios no eran demasiado altos y la clientela parecía agradable, moderna y principalmente joven, sin signos de rencilla o comportamiento grosero. Realmente recomendaría este pub para cualquiera que desee una experiencia de alcoholismo del East End! Sin duda será mi pub ‘ir a’ en Bethnal Green a partir de ahora.

A lovely pub filled to the brim with amazing ales and ciders and a very well stocked fridge full of 750ml ales which are perfect for sharing and reasonably priced, at the time I visited you even received a discount on take away purchases (I think it was a whopping 30%!) great atmosphere and very knowledgeable and friendly staff, I highly recommend it.

Lovely place with nice staff but at least £1 per pint more expensive than the Carpenters around the corner that also benefits from a lovely beer garden. Shame about the over pricing as previous managers have done a great job getting service levels up.

Popped in for a couple of drinks early afternoon mid week. A good choice of 4 real ales (Kirkstall Bitter, Oakham Citra, Thornbridge Jaipur, and a Porter or Stout that I did not know (or remember I am afraid), together with a large choice of craft beers. Strangely no pump clips on the beer engines. It was pretty empty when we arrived (and left), but I noticed that a number of tables were reserved from late afternoon, and I assume that it can get busy after work. Food was available.

Everything you want from a local pub. Great selection of beer, great atmosphere, music not too loud. Pub perfection.

Great little pub with friendly staff and some good beers. We got a cheese and charcuterie board, which was OK. The scotch eggs were incredibly dry, even doused in piccalily.

I like this place, it's cute, a bit hidden, not too loud (it seems).... But the ladies toilets are RANK. Would return, but hope they get toilet seats before then.

Great local pub of mine. Love going here and I love the dead insect frames around the walls. I really wish this pub did proper food. However it doesn't but I do love the spicy dried beans you can get there.

Very good pub just off Bethnal Green Road. Five cask beers on handpump when I last visited including a coffee porter. Unusually, the handles have no pump clips because the pub eschews branding. But there is a list of all the beers and ciders available on a board on the wall. A few wooden benches outside. There are some interesting insects displayed on the walls because the pub's owner is an amateur entomologist.

Gem of a pub. Proper beer selection and very knowledgeable and approachable barman in Jack when I visited. Bright, airy and full of character too.

Solid pub, good spot to make a reservation. Good variety of pints, good cheese plate, good vegan cheese, cool staff, queer welcoming clientele. Nothing else remarkable about the vibe.

Swift lunchtime drink, whilst in the area walking the Regents Canal. Friendly bar lady who was interested in my reasoning, for calling in. For the connoisseurs, their board showed a huge range of guest draught beers and lagers etc on offer. Imagine it could be a lively place in the evenings. 1 min walk, from Bethnal Green Road, south side, near Weavers Fields.

🚇 Bethnal Green 🍺 £6.80 Stonewall IPA ❤️ A superb East End boozer with loads of beer choices. . Tucked away off the beaten track in Bethnal Green you’ll find The Kings Arms. The nearest station is Bethnal Green overground which is a gentle ten minute stroll away. . From the outside this pub smacks of red patterned carpet, flowery wallpaper and a couple of fruit machines but as much as I wanted it to be true, it wasn’t but this is not a bad thing. . The decor here is contemporary with lots of traditional touches. Around the bar and walls are lovingly crafted pale green tongue and groove panels which are accented by subtle pictures and mirrors, this makes for a calming environment. . Now for the beer, the choice and advice preorder is outstanding. I’m not a connoisseur or a beer bore but I do have an open mind to someone who knows their stuff. I didn’t have a scooby what to order but the very nice gentleman behind the bar helped me through the multitude of beverages available here. After some informative consultation I decided on a Stonewall IPA by @brooklynbrewery , it was a top tipple and really hit the spot. . The atmosphere here was convivial and relaxing, this pub is geared up to be a hipster central but it’s anything but, this is good old fashioned pubbing at its finest. . The @kingsarmspub is an exceptional pub that oozes calm and character. Bethnal Green has always been synonymous with decent down to earth boozers, this pub encapsulates E2’s heritage and takes it eloquently in to the future. Have visited many times over the years. It’s one of the best pubs in East London, with a great selection of beers across cask, keg and bottle/can. The pub (and its sister pubs) has a big menu up on the wall with clear pricing, which I appreciate. Staff is always friendly Sky and helpful. Prices are more than fair, and they offer 1/3 pours, which is great for the higher ABV offerings. The pub itself has a lovely vibe. Given its backstreet location, it’s usually visited deliberately by people who want to be there, who come for the beer and ambiance. Always a pleasure visiting this pub.

The King's Arms on the corner of Derbyshire and Buckfast streets is a most fine and welcoming place offering a wide and constantly changing selection of cask and keg ales, ciders lagers and wines, spirits and soft drinks. Hidden behind the ever busy Bethnal Green road it is a great find and well worth a visit.

Stumbled upon this great local pub in the back streets of Bethnal Green. Love the bar in the middle, with seating all around. Relaxed, friendly, good vibe, good mix of people, well presented - like an understated quality suit. Didn't give five stars as I don't think they do all that much in the way of food, but I am happy to go back and be proved wrong, although we didn't see any meals being served, just a Scotch Egg and some cheeses... Overall... I wish I had a local like this near me...

Gorgeous little nook with great beers and lovely staff

Walked here on Monday night only to find it closed at 22:50 even though it is currently listed as closing at 23:30. Great pub otherwise, just frustrating that they don’t operate at the opening hours they advertise.

Good selection of craft beers (interesting and frequently rotated), friendly staff, music at a reasonable volume. They particularly excel at cask - you can tell it is really well conditioned and looked after; the staff are clearly passionate about cask and really know what they are doing Vegan and non vegan cheese boards available alongside a nice range of olives, nuts etc. A huge well curated range of bottles and cans to drink in or takeaway - you can peruse the selection in your own time from the comfort of your table using the super clear paper menus which are kept up to date. Clean toilets with nice smelling hand soap. Nice big windows with comfortable seats. A lovely place.

Best pub in the area for craft beer, with a regularly changing selection (usually around 15 on tap, keg and cask) All bartenders are absolute legends! They'll happily take the time to give you recommendations, explain the beers and let you try them. And trust them you should, cos these guys are at the top of their game! Food now available (cheese platters and such) Very decent outdoor seating in a quiet street. Prices: ~£6 for a pint

One of London's finest craft beer pubs. Cosy and welcoming. The staff are knowledgable and the service is warm. Oli is doing cracking things with the cask too at the moment. Highly recommended.

Nice pub with amazing beer selection!

A great pub off the main Bethnal Green drag. It’s not the busiest of pubs but the ale selection is pretty broad including the local Five Points Best. The atmosphere is a warm one with plenty of big windows, a nice central bar and good bar staff whom are happy to chat about the beers that they have.

Nice place, the Scott eggs are good but I would prefer then hot. the atmosphere is great, good bartender.

Nice people and service, lacks a bit of soul but to be fair we were there on a quiet Friday afternoon. Prices in the high side, even for the new world Bethnal Green. Nice music though :)

If you're in the Brick Lane area and want to escape the crowds, head here for a pub with a lovely atmosphere and a fantastic selection of craft keg ales, many I'd never heard of. 3 cask ales were available too. Highly recommended
