If I could give zero stars, I would. The restroom doors were freshly painted with no warning signs in place. My wife’s top got stained, and I ended up with black paint on my hands. When we brought it up, the landlord’s attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, completely ruining our evening. Absolutely unacceptable experience

My husband also ended up with paint on his hands. When we mentioned this to the landlord, his attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, which spoiled our entire evening. This was an incredibly disappointing experience.

Quality little boozer in town. Family that run it and the ladies behind the bar are all lovely. Decent jukebox that plays even when not being paid to use. Great selection of drinks with happy hour. Couple of dart boards up (which seems hard to find in Cambridge). If you’re lucky enough to meet the steel workers down for a bit. Go say hi. Quality blokes! See you again soon!

One of few pubs in the city that actually looks and feels like it should, no gentrified rubbish. The upstairs low key could be mistaken for a theme park queue path.

Are you looking for a great place to get hammered? King Street Run is perfect for you. They have booze, darts, pool and even more booze. My favourite place to get drunk.

I went in here for a quick pint whilst I was visiting a friend in Cambridge, wasn't here that long but the price of beer was reasonable, toilet facilities were clean enough and the pub was warm even though the doors were opened repeatedly.

A pub with a difference but an excellent juke box.

Superb viewing for football, unmatched in terms of screen coverage I'm Cambridge. Though it's small, they have a projector which makes up for viewing opportunities. Nice place as well when you're seated and lovely service x

Is what it says on the tin. The staff are friendly with a large local crowd. Sports events shown have a large selection of very good TVs and there usually isn't any trouble. The bar charges for card payments (regardless of price) and has no contactless option, making cash the only real way of paying. Also commonly called a "dive bar" - not somewhere to bring the folks for a nice quiet drink.

Definitely a pub. Aging wide boys and an atmosphere unique to Cambridge. Welcoming.

hi i was told to f off out of your bar today exactly after beig poured a pint which was then transferreed to a plastic pint glass and placed on the table outside and when i asked for a number to complin to i was told to f off by your staff at which point they told me to f off again, i was told i was being sarcastic. i asked them to explain and then was told that it was not criminal to for a member of your staff to tell me to f off, i was accused of being a liar for saying that i had been coming to your pub for nearly 40 years, did explain that although i am english with a muslim name and live in portugal sadly i do not know the number for the cambidgeshire police racist unit to comnplian to and again i was told to f off and that if i was truly english i would know the number to call the police on, i said 999? as i have not lived, although being from cambridge, for 20 or more years,, i actually do not know the number is there somebody above the staff that i can talk to so that i can liase them with the cambridge constabulary race relations division please?

Fun pub with darts and table football.

My regular in Cambridge since I was a 19 and my home away from home. Brilliantly unique esthetic, wonderful selection of drinks, TVs for sports, great speakers (especially upstairs) with the usual rotation of music generally being Classic/ Hard Rock and Metal. There are also two pool tables, a bar billiards table, two dartboards, a foosball table, and even a Rolling Stones pinball machine! Although it pains me to say it, the pool cues offered here (with a £5 deposit) are utterly knackered and have been for a while now so I can't recommend this place for pool unless you bring your own cue... Hopefully this isn't a sign that the place is getting a little neglected. All the more, really quite the incomparable place and one of only two pubs I truly love in Cambridge.

One of the most interesting pubs in Cambridge in terms of the unique decor. I recommend going upstairs to see the upside down tables. I always go for a snakebite when there and just enjoy the ambiance. The drink selection otherwise isn't particularly exciting but it's standard reliable drinks in an extraordinary place.

What...has happened to this pub there excuse was it's quiet after the two bar lady's were rude to me and my friend we left our unfinished drinks went up the road it was rammed there and a nice clean atmosphere full of people enjoying there lives.

Unchanged for umpteen years. Ideal if you want darts, pool, a Jukebox, and a constant trickle of students who aren't quite sure why it's a landmark.

Regular in here. It's a bit expensive but the atmosphere that your getting for your money is good plus happy hour on Monday to Friday from 5-7 and Sunday from 7-9. Also free duke box on a Sunday. It's a proper pub that doesn't do fancy food like a restaurant a proper old school pub from 30 years ago.

Amazing pub with awesome drinks and vibe. They have good music and also a pool table as well as a dart. It's really fun, and you find proper local Cambridge crowd.

Absolutely disgusting place. Staff members are treating people in awful way. If they know someone they are nice, if not they are allowing their regulars to be abusive and aggressive towards other people and they don’t do anything about that. They are allowing aggressive terrible people to scream and abuse and call names other people names without any reason and not kicking them out from the place. Avoid!

I love this place. Its your local pub where you can see regulars and familiar faces. Going there mainly for the pool table and the jubox.

It's alright. Was told it was a bar for head bangers due to the bar playing metal and hard rock. But i was let down due to my own expectations. Not as rowdy as I'd like it to be. All in all it's another chill place to drink and listen to good music

I've only been to the King Street Run twice, both on drunken nights out, despite looking big from the outside, the inside is quite small, the first time I went in, we sat upstairs and it was quite dark and small and the staircase was quite narrow going up, but it looked relatively new furnished which was surprising, the bar staff were friendly and the music was loud (I personally like loud music) that time of night. The second night was much the same, only this time we sat down stairs and it was much the same experience, it was busier that time though, it's a shame that the layout of the bar is so awkward, it is a multi-sided bar and slap bang in the middle leaving not a lot of room for seating. On said second night was a couple of bar maids and the once that seemed to have served me most times was ... quite rude and blunt, I don't know if it was because she was stressed, peed off or what but I remember being taken a back by it as you (me) was nice to her then you get sass and coldness back . Price wise, for what I have (dark fruits) it was £4.90 for for a pint, which is quite expensesive considering prior to that drinking in The Regal I can get the same drink for £3.29, but overall for one of the remaining pubs and I believe one of the oldest, it was okay, new experience, will definitely have to go there during the day to see what it's like.

I first went here when I was about 16. There wasn't so much ID checking back then. 34 years later it has hardly changed. Still just one of the greatest pubs of all time.

First visit today and it was brilliant. Friendly staff, great prices, amazing amenities such as darts, pinball machine and quiz machine. Such a friendly vibe, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent local pub in Cambridge 👍🏼

In the past I've loved the pub but last night a group of us went in. Once we had downloaded the app we had trouble ordering our drinks. The bar staff weren't helpful at all in trying to help. We would of had a couple of drinks each. I feel the landlady should look at the staff they are using. Maybe employ better staff who are friendly and willing to help. It's a shame won't be going in there again and I loved the pub. Hope it doesn't happen to too many times as you will have no customers

This was by far my favourite pub when I arrived in Cambridge in my 20s over 20 years ago. Went last night after a hiatus of over a decade. It's not changed one bit; a hangout for misfits with a grunge soundtrack from the 1990s. Pool tables, pinball; a piece of modern history. A friendly but edgy vibe. Long may it prosper!

I went here for the first time last night and loved it! It has such a lovely cosy feel and as others said it's very quirky. Lots of interesting bits and pieces to the decor and pool tables upstairs. The staff were genuinely very friendly and smiley, which makes a big difference. I will definitely be coming back.

King Street run is probably my favourite drinking spot in Cambridge, hanging out there on an evening after work playing pool or bar billiards is the best

Decent little pub! Got a great set up of 2 dart boards that a large group of us played for over an hour! Nice range of drinks. Little bit dirty/grubby looking and feel. Friendly staff would definitely visit again!

If you're looking for a dive bar in the traditional American fashion this is the place. Pool tables, multiple floors and cold beer. What more could you ask for...
