I recently dined at this wonderful Asian (Thai) food restaurant that also offers a selection of English dishes, and I was thoroughly impressed. The first thing that stood out was the incredibly helpful staff. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcomed and were attentive throughout my entire meal. The food itself was absolutely fantastic. You can tell it’s homemade, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. Whether you're craving Asian cuisine or something more familiar like English comfort food, everything is prepared with great care and tastes delicious. On top of the great food and service, the prices are very affordable, making it an excellent value for money. If you're looking for a place that combines great taste, warm hospitality, and affordability, this restaurant is a must-visit!

The highlight for me here was the service, the lady who served me was so friendly and sweet. The food was nice also massive portions

The fusion of British pub & South East Asian restaurant is pulled off, with a traditional pub downstairs with beer and sports, and a spacious, well-decorated restaurant upstairs with a lovely atmosphere. The food was incredible, this is a real gem of the area. I had the steamed dumplings and 'Mother Bowl', a noodle dish in memory of the owner's mother who worked a noodle stall. Both dishes were fresh and delicious, really high-quality and authentic. I would recommend The Junction, it is a really nice place to hang out with friendly, welcoming staff. It has everything you want. Really generous portion sizes and good prices to top it off.

Tried this restaurant for the third time, trying to give them yet another chance, however no more. The food was terrible, and they offer a really limited Thai menu. I wouldn't recommend it, at all.

This happened last April 27 2024, around 1730-1930h. We were served my this lady named Millie and her service was just so bad. It was the last day of my parents’ here in Uk and wanted to go someplace nice but we were wrong. First, she wanted to settle out payment right away even if we preferred to have it settled AFTER we ate our meal. She came to us very rudely!! Next, the meal that time was served more than an hour. Imagine we were already STARVING!! They didnt mention to us that there was only one chef that time and a lot of customers upstairs! Next when i Asked for a receipt, the lady named Millie said she doesn’t know how to print the receipt after we already settled payment. THE FOOD IS GREAT, kudos to the chef that day. BUT THE SERVICE specially how Millie was to us, was waaaay unforgettably bad. See im still leaving a review after a month when it happened. ASKING FOR THE PAYMENT BEFORE WE HAVE OUR MEAL IS SUCH A RUDE MOVE. This is not a fastfood chain!

This place absolutely nails it when it comes to crispy food. Fish and chips and chicken bites both really hit the spot. Very personal and attentive service. Was very quiet when we went on Friday night, which is a shame. Hidden gems like these need promoting. Will definitely try some of the Asian inspired dishes next time.

The food here is lovely. Great portions and the staff are always friendly. 'Nan' who is usually serving the restaurant is so attentive and friendly. Little gem in the middle of Redhill.

Simply stunning food and service at the upstairs restaurant. Everything was perfect. And one of the best Thai Green curries I have had in decades. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options as well. Highly recommended. Had the beef massiman this time round and it was stunning.

Staff are friendly. Food is nice. Like it. The prawn tenpura taste nice, but the prawn is not big.

What a gem!! Food is absolutely excellent. We ate here a load of times during our stay in the Redhill area and the service and food quality were fantastic and consistent every time. I'd eat here over any progress f the other rlocal pubs anytime. Always have the football and rugby games on as well!!

Good for watching the rugby, looked quite on the outside and was quite busy inside, would definitely come back for a few more pints 👍

It's a tad expensive for my affordability, this was my first visit.. menu is predominantly Thai.. I don't know Thai food much, what we ordered was tasty..

My review is based on the bar service alone, and not the restaurant. The food and service upstairs is 5 stars. Would highly recommend! However, the bar service is awful and I wouldn't return to the pub for drinks only. The lady working behind the bar was so rude - god forbid you take your empties back to the bar, or move a bar stool that is "in the wrong area", I've never been told off for this before!?! When taking empty glasses back she said "please don't do this, you're taking my job away from me"! We thought she was joking but no, deadly serious. We just needed some extra space on the table! She unnecessarily moved members of our party to shuffle some chairs and tables around for regulars who stayed for 1 drink. There were plenty of other tables available but it felt like she just wanted to move us for the sake of it. Totally uncalled for and rude. On the flip side, the lady who deals with the restaurant was so helpful and friendly. The food portions were huge and delicious!

Went in here last night. Not my usual pub in redhill but decided just to stop off for a pint. They had karaoke so me and my friend sang non jovi. Great atmosphere and had a good laugh. Pints a little more expensive than other redhill pubs but also it’s a nicer pub than the rest so to be expected. Will likely return

The service was a little slow and disorganised (we twice had some else's order brought to our table) but our waiter was very friendly and welcoming which more than made up for it. The food was absolutely delicious. We all had a great evening and will definitely be back

Stopped off here earlier for a quick drink and bite to eat. Excellent service, young man serving had not heard of Kahlua, but found it and made my Black Russian very well. The food was amazing and the cost seemed perfectly reasonable. Little music in the background, but not too obtrusive. On my list of places to revisit next time I am down south.

What a surprise the Junction is. It's just a lovely welcoming pub downstairs. But the real treasure beyond the fantastic service is upstairs. The food is utterly delicious and was cooked perfectly. Prawn Tempura had a delicious light batter as it should. The Beef Massaman curry had giant chunks of beef in a delicious spicy curry sauce. If you are in Redhill do yourself a favour and visit the Junction. Great food, great service.

Really nice surprise, the upstairs restaurant is a tranquil space and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was impressive, more subtle than other Thai I’ve had but letting the flavour of the ingredients shine through.

Cheesy chips good value as a plateful, and I mean FULL! Beer good quality and staff attentive, quick to deal, and friendly. Recommended.

Not sure what to say, we used to come here with colleagues to have a few drinks or sometimes a bite to eat. I wouldn't say it exceeds any expectations but it has it's vibe. The food is nice though. I would certainly recommend to give this place a try.

OK. It was a family get-together. The food was OK, but Thai food is not my favourite. But it was OK, service was good, so basically good. Did lack a bit of atmosphere down at the bar, though.

Very friendly staff, great Thai food!

Located on the first floor of a pub in the pedestrian part of Redhill, a stone’s throw from the train station. Interior - a combination of different styles, spaced out tables. The food concept Asian fusion and is a single bowl for mains and the starters. Had the tofu with peanut sauce- was ok- : found the tofu rather tasteless. The venerable dumpling were rather nice. The mains of grilled chicken breast with egg rice, satay sauce was nice. Had the plum wine which was very nice. Great service.

Best restaurant in Redhill and Reigate!! We love the Sai Kitchen, absolutely gorgeous food with plenty of choice for all - avid meat eaters, vegans, allergies all catered for equally, and at good prices. We had deliveries from them in lockdown as well which were lovely, but the service is so good in the restaurant we usually choose to go in person. Thanks Sai Kitchen for always serving us up a great dinner!

Warm welcome from the lady behind the bar. My first visit so opted for the Novice mixed bowl, steamed rice and Thai green sauce, quite spicy! Also a well kept pint of St Austell Brewery, Tribute Ale. All in all, very glad I chose to step inside. Pleasantly busy without being crowded.

We had our friends leaving drinks here. We had a fab night. The staff were amazing. Such a good atmosphere. Nice touch to also have sport on in the background. Will definitely be using again.

The service was impeccable. The food delicious. The beer well kept. Normally I can't move beyond the wonderful curries but today I did have a change. I chose Singapore noodles and they were absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely have them again, and very soon.

Wonderful Thai restaurant, hiding upstairs above a rather dingy pub! Huge portions, amazing flavours. About 90% of the menu is vegan or can be made vegan on request. Always friendly service.

Great Thai food and relaxed atmosphere. Provide plent of dairy and gluten free alternatives if required.

Absolutely brilliant food, spotlessly clean. We have been to so many thi restaurants, the food was brilliant the right amount of spice and flavours. I will definitely be back, the staff are lovely very happy to take the time to help with the menu. Definitely go back. 1000 % recommended.

What a wonderful experience I have just had at The Junction! I did not hesitate to give them 5 stars. The food is superb and the service is amazing. Milly kept checking in that everything was OK and made us and everyone who were there feel special. That is a real quality and ensures customers return again and again. We recently ordered a load of food from Sai Kitchen for our wedding. Not only was the food absolutely delicious (probably most people's favourite part of the day 😅) but Sai was so helpful at getting it all organised. He brought the food in steel serving trays and took it all away the next morning - no washing up required. It was absolutely perfect and I would recommend this place to everyone (especially if you're vegan or gf) We ordered spring rolls, tempura, dumplings, tofu, super vegan curry, signapore noodles, tofu in black bean sauce and rice and it was all so delicious!!

There food is exquisite. I looked it up once and it had higher ratings than restaurants in London. A secret gem of Redhill. Try their green Thai chicken curry. Don't take my word, try it for yourself.

Quiet place, delicious food, good drinks and good prices

We have spend many occasions here, but ever since the pub has reopened we have been disappointed but the poor level of customer service. Staff have shouted at us for leaving our seats to use the bathroom and one occasion the bar manager pointed at an empty beer can on the table and said I couldn't drnk it in there (!). We have ordered food on occasion. Some of the starters are OK but the mains are way overpriced. 15 for a chicken curry that is bland and tastes like it's frozen when I can get an authentic Thai dish at the market stall for £6. Although it's one of the few pubs open now it's no excuse for bad service ans overpriced food.

Had a lovely evening at Sai Kitchen. Nice atmosphere, delicious food (the vegan curry was amazing). Will be back!

Best food ever and a very relaxing place

The meal was incredible! Food absolutely delicious and the portion of this chicken noodle soup... You better have a lot of room is all I can say! The server was also extremely sweet and made sure we had a really good experience. Will definitely be back!

A very nice meal, that was giving me flashbacks to Thailand. Good portion sizes that won't leave you feeling hungry and friendly wait staff. It is on the floor above the Junction pub, for anyone that is unsure you have to go into the pub, wait for someone to greet you and then they'll lead you up the stairs. Well laid out social distancing in place between the tables.

Best food I had in Redhill. The basil chilli chicken and rice is good. It is just like you get in Thailand, and the menu has plenty of Asian dishes that are pretty authentic. The beer is fresh and the staff are very friendly.
