The Jug and Glass in Mansfield

Absolutely amazing place to be. Luke loves his nights there. Food is lovely. That's why we go back. Thank you for another wonderful night.

Called in for dinner after recommendation from relative, had the best steak dinner ever in this area, will be back.

Local pub that deserves a good review for Sunday lunch offerings. It was simple to reserve a table via Facebook messenger, & although the car parking area is small we found a spot. The staff were welcoming & service was efficient. Best of all the meals were excellent! £10.45 for a 2 course meal (roast meat choices-beef, gammon or pork & 1 of us had the vegetarian tart, followed by fruit crumble & custard/red velvet cheesecake & cream/warm choc brownie & cream) well cooked & presented. Nothing to not like, a new local treasure!

Heard a few good reports from local people about the jug and glass Mansfield woodhouse Sunday carvery. I was a bit optimistic when I heard it was only £4:99. These days you get what you pay for so hay ho I went to try it out 🤔, Omg I can’t believe how much I enjoyed xxx 4 meats to choose from and fresh vegetables. Complimented with nice roast pots and roast turnips. Good flavoured gravy to finish it off xx I will definitely be back here again xx

Popped in here for a couple of drinks during a tour round the village pubs and was made welcome by the bar staff,drinks where a decent price and they had a disco on. Place needs doing up but was clean enough. Decent local pub!

Whilst the food was cooked well it wasn't anything special but the service was great and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.
