First time in bar maid 2as abusive over priced for state of s3cor never again unlike their sister pub walls end

no food being served as such didn't stay

Went for new year's eve Place was buzzing magnificent singer Staff at bar had it running smoothly Real enjoyed it as did my wife Thank you Jolly Bowman proprioter and staff you produced a top notch event👍🥂🍻🍾✊👏🤪

Best thing the management could do is put a legible copy of all food available as an awful lot have allergies or don't like herbs. We don't know whether we're going to enjoy meals or not. We went y/day to find no meals done at the mo although menu still on net. As for food, family and I don't like herbs, one dislikes onions, garlic etc - where do we stand?

Both Leanne's are belter!! But then there's the other bar tender, thinks it's alright to intimidate customers, will be going back just to make the lass smile ☺️

Very much a pub for the local's, the whole atmosphere was not very welcoming, sky sport blaring in the background, not what want if your here for lunch. If you want a quiet drink and food this is not the place for you. Sunday lunch was poor, they advertised a carvery but it was far from what I have come to expect from a traditional Pub Carvery. The food had been under the heater for a long time, the Meat was very dry, same can be said of the veg. On a whole it was a poor experience, we ate and ran, we wont be going back.

Not a good place for anything, staff are miserable as out and the whole atmosphere is just depressing. This doesn’t include when all the little chavs are there. Food is awful and pints are warm. The place just needs to shut never seen more than 6 people in there.

Went for food only had one drink as place looked run down

I have been here on 2 occasions on sundays.they do a carvery and I was very pleased with the food.

Empty guys get in your local or it will close

Fantastic Sunday dinner... No waiting around go in get a table and drinks then straight to carvary loads of meat.. Veg mash swid.. Peas and carrot.. Parsnips roast potatoes beef.. Gamin.. Turkey.. Yorkshire pudding... All really cooked well really nice I enjoyed it and so did my partner 😁

Came in for a Sunday carvery since it had good reviews and how disappointing it was. The food was tough, cold and bland. Almost like the staff put it out and forgot about it for a few hours. Don’t come if you like food, looks like a good bar to have a pint in.

Not great, decided to go here to day as there was a few different things on, after a visit to smythe toys and the female manager was being very rude to a member of staff. Not what you want to see or hear. Unprofessional.

A proper bar and good choice of drinks. A bit over priced for a local bar.

Not to bad a pub but the place really smells bad as soon as you walk in the doors your met with a smell it's not till you use the mens toilets you work out where the smell is comin from a little bit bleach would go a long way in the

Very much a locals pub. Staff are lovely, but the other pub goers can be very intimidating and extremely unwelcoming.

Good local pub but have stopped main meals only grill now which is disappointing as the meals were good cover all football sky and by sports so good from that point of view

Lovely Sunday dinner, good price at 6.99 too. Carvery so the portions are massive and lots of veg choice. Meat was a little dry that's why I didn't give 5. Would go back though.

Give it a 3 because they didn’t serve meals when we went there at 5.30pm on a Saturday. That’s not to say it’s not a nice pub because it is. Just don’t go if you want feeding at that time!

Been my local for years growing up in the area and all mine and the wife's family and friends still live there so go there as often as we can work allowing it's a great local drinking hole

One time saw a bloke get hit with a chair one time. Spot on though not relly much bother and alright to pop in for a pint.

Foods was satisfactory, however took 50 minutes to arrive. Staff seem polite, ok pub overall.

Very nice pub. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Unlike others I didn't see any chavs. However there was a few construction workers enjoying their lunch break to some home made food. Clean and safe car park
