Been after a long time and remembered why I stopped visiting. Entry fee gone up and now charging £12 per child (2 hours) and £3 per adult. Till system operates a card only system - no cash taken. Asked for fresh mint tea - got a peppermint teabag complete with tag wrapped around bag. Toilets are filthy and poorly lit. My little one loved the play area but our family experience was marred. Will stay to get my money's worth today but won't be back. Love the idea of a soft play in Windsor but this place falls short of satisfactory.

As a new mum with lots of new mums as friends, this is our go too place. We meet there and don’t feel at all pressured if the little ones are fussing, I breast feed and feel more than confortable doing so. Also good baby changing and I can see me being here a lot when little one start to move about. Good food, good coffee and great staff,

Living fairly locally, I have been to The Jelly Lounge with my two-year-old daughter a few times previously. We went this time for some brunch and a bit of a play. However, we were dismayed to find they have significantly put their prices up. For a Saturday it’s £12 for a child plus £3 for each adult!! I went with my husband and daughter and after complaining at the door, the manager removed the £3 for one of us, but we still ended up paying £15, before paying for any food and drink!! For one two-year-old to play for an hour or so that is ridiculous. (Before Christmas it was £7 for a child and no charge for an adult). Compared to other soft plays I have been to, which are equal in size and quality, that is more than double the price! We stayed because we were hungry and our daughter was excited, but will certainly go elsewhere in the future. I complained to the manager, who told me that an annual pass would work out cheaper, but we only visited every couple of months so it would have pushed the price up even more. It seemed to me that they only put the prices up as they were getting too busy, but pushing out those who can’t afford it is a terrible business model in my opinion. What a shame.

A friend recommended coming here as she said the food was good & me and my husband could enjoy reasonable food whilst the kids played. Our experience was in fact terrible -for starters, the entrance to the Jelly Lounge was a complete mess - there were children’s toys in plastic bags (looked like unwanted Christmas presents) strewn over the floor more worryingly though half way through eating my Club Sandwich I noticed that there was green mould over all 3 slices of bread. We were absolutely disgusted. Admittedly the manager did refund us for our 2 main meals however having spent £20 to get in, plus drinks and children’s meals I think it’s safe to say we will not be returning!! God knows how long the food there has been hanging around if they don’t even notice green mould on slices of bread...

We planned to visit The Jelly Lounge with our 16 month old daughter and a friend as looking online it looked like a great place. The idea behind this place as promoted on their website is having good coffee, quality food and to burn off energy for the little one. The website promotes the quality of the food and service so I had high expectations. The entry fee is £10 which personally I feel is quite expensive.

Good soft play area for children. Entrance is about £5 per child. It was a quiet Sunday when we visited and we were informed the chef had been sent home due to it being quiet. So couldn't order food but did order a shake and a smoothie which were nice. Child had a fun time.

The concept of this place is great - somewhere to eat, while your babies play! However, having paid an entrance fee and ordered lunch, I sat down with my baby and started to open her lunch. I'd annoyingly missed the signs saying no food from outside to be consumed on the premises (my fault). I was promptly reminded by staff and told I had to order baby food from the menu, which I did - made-to-order purées for £3. My food came, but no sign of baby's lunch. She starts getting fractious and hungry so I abandon my food to walk her around and distract her. Around 20 minutes later the purée came, which she ate 1/3 of. The place was empty so I can only assume if it was busier, the wait would have been longer.

Great for kids but thats about all. They advertise online and inhouse menus Lazy Sunday Roasts, they are so lazy they don’t do them but can’t be bothered to change the menus. The burgers are over priced and poor quality, they need a serious review. The food order was very, very, very slow, well over an hour and then only four burgers arrived, not the five that were ordered, took another hour to get the missing one. The toilets say they are cleaned regularly, the photo shows that the last visit was 0900 on Friday, this was taken at 1500 on Friday. Disgraceful. Would have thought that Windsor was better than this.

A few of us took our 5-6 month old babies to the baby soft play area. At £4 I expected so much more than a grubby ball pit and a few battery dead toys. A very sparse small area which at the time was being trampled all over by a couple of unruly older children who shouldn't have been in there (I note this happens regularly).

I’ve been here a few times - food and drinks are really good. My baby is only small so I haven’t used the soft play but I hear good things. The baby area could do with a few more toys/sensory bits, I feel it’s a little sparse - also it doesn’t seem the users are ‘policed’ as it’s meant to be for under 2s and both times I’ve been 3 and 4 year olds have been jumping in the ball pit. When you’re in the baby area you can’t take your pram in or leave it alongside which makes sense because space is limited, however I met friends there to eat and we weren’t sure what you’re supposed to do if your baby is sleeping, which is fairly likely when they’re young - just leave them on their own in the buggy park? The first time I went I was carrying my baby when ordering a couple of drinks and the lady at the counter (who was a bit rude to be honest) didn’t offer to help - I think given the venue is based around children and parents’ needs that would be a basic step. Having said that when I’ve been since a different girl behind the counter has helped and there is a very lovely lady there, not sure of her name.

We went there expecting it is a soft play for our daughter to play, realised you cant give her food and drink we had packed so its more like a restaurant. The price was £8.50 for 90mins but they did not have any signs for it. I asked for a leaflet or something with their list of prices, the answer was they vary so much that they don’t have such a thing. Checked their website, no list of prices!!! Sounds to me they just make it up and they are very expensive. Unlike soft play, they had a board in cafe area for list of hot drinks with prices. I ordered regular latte which was £2.50. The lady said “regular latte £2.90” i said but based on your board large latte is £2.90. She pulled few faces as if i was making up something... i said thats fine just give me a large latte (i had already paid). The drink came in a regular cup with half foam! I am not sure who they are targeting in their business model but something is off and wont be going back!

Went to the jelly lounge to meet family and have food. They had asked us to pre order food which we did yet when our food arrived we had a list of items missing. We ordered 3 burgers and only one had the brioche bun the veggie burger was missing the avacardo. The children's meals were missing the coliflower cheese and the brussel sprouts were like golf balls. The fruit slices for the 2 toddlers didn't even turn up. Bearing in mind we had all ordered non alcoholic drinks as we were with our children of ages ranged from 1 to 6 year old they thought an appropriate gesture of good will would be a bottle of prosecco and when we said this wasn't really apropriate they took offence and called us rude. However this did change to 10% off about the same amount as food was missing from our meals. The waitress carrying round glasses next to children's play area which eventually one broke wasn't exactly the best of ideas with children with no shoes running around.

I've also taken advantage of The Jelly Creche which is fantastic, they use a seperate room at the back and you get a 1:1 ratio with your child and key carer - food is included and you get a debrief at the end, like you would at a nursery. Can't imagine Windsor without this place. oh, and they have an alcohol licence, which is the cherry on the cake! *****

My 6 year old son and 2 friends had their birthday party here. A really pleasurable experience and believe it or not totally relaxing and enjoyable for parents of the birthday kids and those staying whilst their kids played. Soft play great fun, party food- the best we’ve ever had at a children’s birthday party (mini burgers, proper chicken breast strips..etc) and fantastic adult platters and bubbly to celebrate with the little ones in adult style! ( my husband said the best sausage rolls he’s ever had). All the food is imaginative, super yummy and home made. Lovely environment and good location for those parents that want to ‘drop and shop’. Party hosts and all staff were very enthusiastic and engaging. Also tried the slime workshops.. totally genius a dedicated workshop where kids can make slime (as well as bake and crafts) in a fun environment that is not home Well done Jelly Lounge you have a massive thumbs up from us!

Firstly, very expensive for a Saturday, not busy at all when we arrived 2 other people inside with 2 children... We ordered drinks, i had ordered a hot chocolate for myself, but my hot drink came out Luke warm, asked them for another which the young girl agreed to do but waited over 15 minutes for them to remake it and still only 2 other people and they're children in the jelly lounge. We stayed for lunch, but they had a selected amount available and waited over 40 minutes for it to arrive to our table. It came out Luke warm also. My children both had jelly, but 1 had to be returned back to the servery as it had mould around the rim of the jelly pot. I complained to the very young lady at the til, and was told that no manager was available to take my complaint. No refund was offered and no further apologies were given. So we decided to leave.

I really wanted to love this place when I heard it was opening in my town. It is ridiculously overpriced for what it is, a weekend or half term visit with my two children with some lunch and drinks and you would get much change out of £50, how can they justify that? The play frame is really small and my children now get bored after 10 minutes on it, the area is cramped with the play frame and seating area in a narrow space with hot food, drinks, adults and kids whizzing by, an accident waiting to happen! They could have utilised the space so much better as the overall inside is quite big so confusing as to why they have such a small play frame and viewing seating area. Noticed the food prices have gone up, no longer get a hot drink included in the baby area price, no carton of drink with the kids meals anymore. One last thing, one of the owners is extremely grumpy, doesn’t even greet any of her customers with a hello or even a smile!

Visited yesterday with my 18 month old, it wasn't our first visit and he had enjoyed the previous visit so on a rainy Monday morning off we go. We'd previously paid £6 entry which I thought was steep for soft play especially as he's too young to go in by himself so I end up with backache and countless bumps on the head. Anyway yesterday was charged £10 for the privilege! Apparently it's because it's the school holidays, I did think there might be something else included in the extra fee, a coffee or slice of cake, sadly not. What you pay for is a busier place, older children who have no respect for little ones and mums not paying attention to their little darlings knocking others about! The separate baby area stipulates babies up to crawling only so toddlers who've just started walking have to brave it with 8 year old! I think an area for 1-3 year old would be nice.

I visited with my 2.5 year old, my sister and her 3 year old, after she recommended it. It was a Friday at midday. The place was extremely busy, so much so that it was quite overwhelming when we opened the front door to see so many mins and babies everywhere, no free tables, and a lot of noise! No problem though, we asked the friendly receptionist how the soft play side was and if there were some free tables and she said it wasn’t as busy and there were tables. Paid the entry free, went through to the older kids soft play and it was packed! We sat on the stools near the door where the children take off their shoes and waited for a table, getting up all the time to have a look and make sure we didn’t miss one. At the same time the kids went to explore the soft play but the amount of children in there, mums and dads hanging over checking on them, other kids crying , running up and down the corridor, in and out the soft play entrance, plus waitresses up and down the same corridor with food, drinks, glasses of alcohol... it was just too much to take in! Kids didn’t even like it and kept coming back to us whining becuase they were getting lost or feeling unhappy. We waited a few minutes more for a table anyway, and when we did get one waited a bit longer for one of the waitresses to come and clear away from the previous people.. but by this point it was rather too much, not a calm relaxing experience that we were expecting so we decided to leave. The manager kindly gave us a refund and explained Friday is the business day of the week.

Visited with my seven month old son. Staff were super friendly and polite, and let me check out the baby lounge to make sure he was going to be comfortable in there before paying for entry. £5 buys you 90 minutes in the lounge, plus a free (much-needed) hot drink so good value for money. There’s room to eat in the lounge too for those who want to keep a close eye on the little ones, but also a spacious cafe area which can accommodate larger groups, and additional tables alongside the soft play for older children (which looked fantastic). Baby loved the ball pool and the fish tank, while I enjoyed a mocha and a blueberry muffin. A few very slight improvements could be made however... the baby lounge could do with an upper age limit - there were some older children (who weren’t being particularly well supervised with their parents/carers in another part of the cafe) crashing around an area where younger babies were crawling on the floor. Also more food options for babies would be helpful - you are not allowed to bring food in from outside, but by the time I ordered lunch for my son there was only one Ella’s Kitchen pouch left, and I think a full child’s meal would have been far too much for him to handle. But these are very minor gripes, and on the whole this is an excellent venue in the centre of Windsor. We’ll definitely be returning.
