The Jade House in Shropshire

I recently ordered takeout from this Chinese restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that really hit the spot. Despite it being a busy evening, I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my order, which was fantastic. The lady who took my order was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Used the takeaway service today for a large party for the first time. Very impressed with customer care, warm welcome, professional and polite lady served us and gifted us a bottle of soft drink (I guess as we were first customers) Many thanks for that nice gesture. Swift service. Hot and delicious food. Immaculately clean. Would highly recommend; and this is now our new regular Chinese takeaway.

What has happened to jade house takeaway I have gone there for years & always enjoyed there takeaways had a beef & onion with oyster sauce with egg fried rice it was awful was loaded with onions & a little bit of beef & the sauce was like gravy

This place is a gem! I have ordered the Barbecued pork chow mein numerous times and it is consistently the best I've had. Prices are VERY fair and service is always quick and polite.

Beautiful food, called in and ordered then waited. All cooked freshly! Was really lovely.

This is hands down the best Chinese! Food is always fresh and piping hot.

Staff were absolutely polite and helpful, those in the kitchen looed to be working so hard to make an amazing Chinese meal for me, complimentary prawn crackers were an amazing touch too. Amazing food.

Previously visited a few times over the years but only tried basics I.e. chips curry chicken wings and that was OK. As it was Bank Holiday everywhere else was closed so we thought we would try Jade House for a proper meal. Unfortunately, didn't enjoy the majority of the dishes served. The prawn chow mein was the best dish. Special fried was OK although the sauce wasn't great, just bland. Finally the Yuk Sung was absolutely awful. For some crazy reason, mixed with the meat are big chunks of raw onions- just insane, and is vile. I have tried this dish at restaurants and take aways up and down the country but never have I experienced large pieces of raw onions in the dish. Safe to say we will return to our usual takeaways. The outside does look it really does need some work - the same is also true on the inside.

Another Saturday night another chinese from Jade House and again delicious. We cannot ever fault the standard of this food or the friendliness of the staff. Our favourite dish Singapore Chow Mein, Shredded Chilli Beef, Chips and Curry Sauce. This place will not be beaten it’s fantastic.

Excellent quality Chinese take away. Sadly when I called they were only accepting cash payments. Would have preferred contact less card during current situation regarding Covid.

The Jade House is our regular Chinese, recently switched to going there a few months ago and it has always been gorgeous. Food is delicious and the best quality for the area for sure. Staff are amazingly pleasant, you’re always greeted with a smile and they sometimes even remember our order. Complementary cookies are usually included which is a lovely touch. Fab!

Heard great reviews so tried Jade House but unfortunately other than the lovely chicken balls our meals weren't good. Rice was way undercooked.

this is our 'go to' Chinese takeaway, as easy to order over the phone as in person , always prompt service, food hot and well presented.

Delicious food, and a friendly staff

Ordered Chicken & Cashew Nuts, Egg Fried Rice, Chips & a large Pancake Roll. Unfortunately I found the Chicken & Cashew Nuts to bland & the Pancake roll undercooked & filled with just bean sprouts & very, very bland. Wasnt impressed!!

The outside may put alot of people off however the food is lovely and kept clean inside that was one of my main things. I've tried the others in Shifnal but always come back to this family run Chinese.

Beautiful food have been going here since the 1980's, it was called the Mayflower then. Iv tried other take aways in my local area of telford but i always come out of telford for this gem....brilliant 😍😘❤️❤️❤️

Excellent customer service, food was cooked fresh. Seafood was well prepared, prawns cleaned. Prawn toast contained large pieces of prawns. Food was not greasy which is always a must for me.

Poor service where telephone orders jump straight to the head of the queue whilst customers are left waiting at the counter to eventually be served some disappointing food.

The receptionist was sullen bordering on rude and the food was so greasy I couldn't eat it, the pancake roll was so greasy it was soggy. If I wasn't so short on time I'd have taken it back and demanded a refund. I will never go there again.

Well that was very disappointing and quite expensive. Ordered sweet and sour King Prawn Cantonese and every one was so over cooked they were inedible and when the other King Prawn dish arrived it was swimming in a Bisto type gravy which was not the best taste in the world with a size identity problem because they were very definitely just prawns?? Also ordered Yuk Sung which was just sloppy and missing the crunchy rice noodles. The meal was so bad that after a couple of mouthfuls we decided to cut our losses and bin the lot. It's also strange they only accept cash !! and I couldn't for the life of me find their Hygiene Number rating anywhere. Shiftnal is definitely lacking in a good Chinese take away

Don't ask for sweet and sour special unless you want 12 under cooked soggy balls of inedible pork and so chalked prawn. The only ones eatable were the chicken.If I'd wanted balls I'd have asked for them.Will not be paying through the nose for poor quality food there again.

This is my favourite chinese takeaway. They do great food at great prices. Although I try to stay away from having too many takeaways in general, I always go to Jade House for a good eat.

Hadn't used this establishment in years. Food was very tasty and unlike some chinese takeouts was not greasy. Wished I'd come here sooner. Definitely won't be long before I'm back.

Worst satay I've ever tasted (or not as it had no taste at all)

Had a meal from here today soups were lacking taste. Chips over cooked. Ribs was mainly knuckle bone. And the chicken curry was ok but nothing to rush back for. Sorry! Won't be returning.

I really love this place and the food is amazing but it feels like they only deliver when they want to. Went to order tonight and they said they weren’t delivering. Had Indian instead.

Shocking food I've had 4 curry's from them now given them 4 chances with me specificly wanting spice or extra like garlic or chillies or extra heat every single time I'm not getting what I ask for everytime I feel like i have wasted my money I will never be going here again

No puedo calificar este para llevar cualquier superior como la comida durante muchos años siempre es muy sabroso y con un alto nivel. Nunca tuve un plato mal y las raciones son muy generosas. La única razón por la que no he dado como máximo. Marcas es porque sólo acepta dinero en efectivo, pero hay un cajero automático en el Barclays sólo cinco minutos. Distancia.

Even though the Jade House looks terrible from the outside, its what's on the inside that counts. Fabulously fresh food and lovely people. Highly recommend.

Looks a bit rough from the outside but is certainly a great chines take away ,lots of it aswell ! Use it quite regular . Go back ? Definitely!
