Private dining at the Ivy - great surroundings, excellent set up and amazing food. Only to be expected at the Ivy... Great afternoon, classy place!

Really lovely meal, reasonably priced for the quality, location and level of service. Had the cheese soufflé, it was excellent.

The place itself is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere. It was very busy the evening I went for dinner. The food was nice although a side dish ordered was missed completely. Very much enjoyed the cheesecake cocktail...imaginative and delicious! We had to work hard a few times to get the attention of staff after a decent amount of time spent waiting.

Fantastic food and service. The music was too loud though.

Item: Seabass Fillet Taste: 9/10 Feedback: One of the best item from the menu. Very delicious and tendered fish. It's literally half side of a fish. Very good filling and enough for a heavy meal. Recommendation: Yes Item: French Onion Soup Taste: 8/10 Feedback: Good one to start with. We shared the soup in between two of us. It shows the delicacy of The Ivy Recommendation: Yes Item: Zucchini Fritti Taste: 9/10 Feedback: The Ivy styled fried courgette. Perfect to share even within 4 people. Recommendation: Yes Service: Service was top notch. Our server was very friendly and impossibly helpful. Aleks and Elaisa, you guys were amazing. Thanks for the hospitality. Service = Fantastic, Sezi took care of us and she was wonderful, polite and attentive . Food = Very good, the cheese soufflé was delicious, zucchini fries tasty, I wanted to take the left over sour dough with me :) . Ordered fish and chips, the fish was a little greasy - this could be improved , chips some of the best I’ve had and the best Tartare sauce I’ve ever had . Portion sizes good Being Muslim I was pleasantly surprised at how well organised the online menu was showing what suitable for different dietary requirement, there was a decent amount of options for us . Really nice restaurant setting . I recommend , we really enjoyed.

Came here for breakfast. They forgot part of the meal(potato rosti) and generally it was noisy and quite hard to have a conversation across the table. The quality of the food was good but not the best breakfast venue.

We had a great night celebrating our friends birthday with the best service from Cameron and Holly as usual, they are the best very caring and attentive. We all had the Korean glazed chicken which we highly recommend and the apple tart for dessert.

Had a wonderful lunch in the garden. The special menu for the Chelsea flower show was wonderful. Excellent service, hope to be back soon!

Great atmosphere, amazing polite staff.

Terrible service! Booked at table for 7:30, was told to stand by the bar in a busy area next to the food trays for 20 minutes, I had to ask if I could sit down at the bar after 30 minutes of standing in heels. We were eventually seated at our table almost an hour after we booked it, no apology from the staff only a comment of “are we bored of waiting” and then our food took another hour to come out. When booking I mentioned it was a special occasion and asked for a small congrats to be written on our dessert but this was not given and instead the service charge was 13.5%. The atmosphere was so loud and chaotic! I was kind of sad to have chosen this place for a special occasion. I don’t recommend!

Ivy is always a good choice for any occasion. I celebrated my birthday with my friends and we had an amazing time! The food was amazing! We had a bottle of wine and some cocktails. They surprised me a birthday dessert which was very nice.

I have been wanting to dine at The Ivy for years and finally found the time to on a trip to London. When we arrived, we had come from a football game, and my husband was told that he can’t wear a jersey in the restaurant. I checked the website and there is nothing that mentions not wearing jerseys. Thankfully, he had a jacket with him, so we were able to be seated and eat supper. It was a bit frustrating seeing other patrons with questionable clothing (wearing sleeveless Jersey tank tops and showing their underwear) be allowed in, but he wasn’t allowed to wear a football shirt. We ordered a burger, shepherds pie and desserts and they were alright, but not worth the price of £85. The fries were bland and the crème brûlée didn’t have a hard sugar topping which made it a bit weird. They also had a band playing when we arrived which made our experience unenjoyable because we could barely hear each other. The food was also really slow to come out. The servers were really wonderful though. All in all, we wouldn’t return.

From the moment we stepped into The Ivy City Garden, we knew we were in for a truly special experience. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere that set the perfect tone for our celebration. We had booked in advance, and everything was perfectly set up for us, including a high chair for our son, as we were celebrating his first birthday. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the staff were constantly attentive, serving us with smiles and good humour throughout our visit. A special mention must go to Othman, who led the service with the finesse of a magician. Each time he approached our table, he produced something even more special, making our celebration unforgettable. His dedication and ability to anticipate our needs added a magical touch to the evening. Othman's service was truly 10/10, making us feel like royalty. We have never been treated this well before, and he has set a new standard for exceptional service. We enjoyed the roast beef and lamb, both prepared with great care and quality, comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant in both food and service. The special touches, such as providing our son with a surprise sweet treat to mark the occasion for us and him, ensuring he wouldn't be left out, made the experience even more memorable. We have allergies, and the staff took them seriously, giving us confidence and making us feel special. This was, without a doubt, the best dining experience we have ever had. All five of us agreed that we couldn't have asked for more. We will be returning every year for our son's birthday, as well as for other special occasions.

Booked the private dining room for a 30th birthday celebration. The event planner was very helpful when organising everything, and the staff serving the room on the day were brilliant. Super proactive and professional. Food was excellent and made for a lovely celebration.

I went on a wonderful 7th date here. I love this location, lots of corporate city workers in here. It was a beautiful spring evening in London and the location was so close to the station. Beautiful decor and style and we had a lovely table. The manager was very friendly and my date had plenty of gluten free options. I absolutely loved it in here. I had delicious scallops for my starter and The Ivy Burger and triple cooked chips as I could not decide. My date had the cheese soufflé and fillet steak for his main. We shared the chocolate bombe for dessert although I was too full for it. Beautiful surroundings, lovely, attentive staff and wonderful company, I could not ask for anything more. 🥰🎉💕

Sometimes the Ivy can feel rushed. This was one of those times.

Had dinner this evening as a large group. My experience of the waitress who was serving us was really rude from the start. I was clear to her I had a nut allergy and shellfish allergy and we ordered our starters first. A different waiter came and took our main orders and I said I have allergies to which he responded that they were noted (I didn’t get a chance to reiterate my allergies). It was only until the food came out and just as I was about to eat the chips the waitress came back and told me the chips are fried in the same oil/fryer as the shellfish so you can’t have it. I explained no one had told me this when I ordered and she just shrugged it off and was rude as if it was my fault and didn’t offer an alternative, will not be going there ever again.

Me and my husband had an outstanding experience at Ivy City Garden, made truly memorable by the impeccable service from Anca. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and impeccable knowledgeable, her friendly professionalism made us feel instantly at ease. Anca guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations, and thanks to her, we tried the Crispy duck salad and Blackened cod with broccoli, both were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Ivy City Garden.

I had a good time at this ivy restaurant. I am trying to go out more since the sad passing of my late finance died. The staff at the place made me feel comfy dinning alone. The only thing I would say it was loud. As they can if lots of people in the restaurant. That should not put you off going.

Had a lovely lunch at The Ivy City Garden with my friends yesterday! We ordered the blackend cod with mashed potato and it was absolutely scrumptious – perfectly cooked and full of flavour. A special shoutout to Fatema, who took such great care of us throughout the time. Her warm and attentive service really made the experience stand out. We were genuinely impressed and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experiences.

Lovely restaurant but really not impressed with this branch. Was celebrating my son's 18th. His food order was wrong. Staff not attentive. Felt that what was supposed to be a special day was very flat and let down. Food wasn't as expected as per expectation from other Ivy's that we have visited. Sorry!!! I only tell the truth. Don't think I would rush back.

Service was terribly slow. The food was ok. The coffee was lukewarm. Wouldn't go again.

We are regulars at various Ivy venues. We visited on my birthday midweek evening. It was a really busy evening but we were treated well and we had various staff look after us. I was brought a surprise dessert for my birthday. Very thoughtful and full effort. There was a very large mistake with the bill. Luckily I noticed and it was taken away and returned at the correct pricing. But this did all take a while to sort out as had the initial bringing of the bill in the first place. Either way we will be back. We like it here and it feels special.

Went for brunch and ordered the avocado eggs benedict. The sauce was very rich, and the whole thing was very filling. Food was OK, I've had better elsewhere, but you pay for the experience. The setting was beautiful.

We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday on Saturday afternoon and had a great time. We have been before and love the restaurant but this was the first time on a weekend. The live music was a real treat and the food- crusty bread and butter and fish and chips was super. As it was Ann’s birthday we received two complimentary glasses of champagne. The service was excellent- welcoming, friendly and efficient., Our waiter Antonio bought out a dessert with a birthday candle. It was a lovely surprise and made the meal even more of an occasion. We look forward to returning.

Just had the most wonderful lunch at the Ivy City Garden Liverpool Street. Atmosphere fabulous food delicious and the service was fantastic Marco and Tiziano went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after us and attended to all our requests without hesitation and with courtesy. The cheese soufflé was SPECTACULAR. Great decor and lovely atmosphere. Dishes were presented very nicely. Menu is varied We’ve come here twice already and had a pleasure of having Yaren wait on us. Excellent service✨

Love this restaurant! The ambiance is perfect. Food is delicious. Portions are a bit small, but still very pleased with the flavors. We ordered the ribeye steak, shepherds pie, and duck curry.

The bread was very chewy, the seabass was ok, the coffee was cold and awful and the broccoli was very tough, the Easter dessert was not great. It took ages, nearly an hour for the food to come and they gave the wrong sides, the manager offered another coffee and took the sides off the bill which was nice of him so I gave the service 3 stars. The environment was extremely noisy, will never go back.

Don’t know what has happened to this once lovely restaurant. Cocktails - had to return Bloody Mary twice! Unpleasant drink. Had to request a table move as put on a table for 2 when there was 3 of us - literally no space for plates. Food - soufflé was lovely, fish had soggy batter. I’ve had better in a pub. Others in party also rated food as less than average. Service was slow but place was busy. I won’t be returning which is a shame. Poor value for money & not a pleasant experience.

The Ivy City Garden is like an oasis of calm when trying to escape the busy business day to day in the Liverpool street area. They have excellent deals Monday-Thursdays which are a rare steal in London making it an affordable yet high quality restaurant with an excellent Atmosphere whether you’re dining out privately or with a group of colleagues.

Had a great dinner tonight at the Ivy City Garden. The food we ordered was cooked very well and was a great atmosphere through out. Our server, Jamie, is an asset to the workforce. He was extermly attentive and made our night evermore so enjoyable. Will most certainly be back!

Food was great the chefs deserve 5 star, but the service was pretty shocking - they kept forgetting the orders dirty cups and cutlery, not ideal when with corporate clients but we had a laugh and said nandos would have been better!
