We had a toastie, crab sandwich and a coffee and it was freshly made with fresh quality ingredients and absolutely delicious! Watching them cater patiently for all requests (no butter, extra pickle etc) is admirable and at peak times, as long as you are prepared to wait a short time, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful, back again, we can’t resist the chicken fillets and chips . Dad said his burger was tasty and quality, nanna loves your crab sandwiches. Thankyou for a friendly service. The Gosport family .

Couple of cracking crab sandwiches and cup of tea. Can’t fault it. Friendly service, crab landed on the island, reasonably priced

. . . great entrepreneurship, deserves to do well. Excellent location in the centre of the village. We have had food in the past before we could review and thoroughly enjoyed with family. This is a delightful option, great value on the very busy island of Holy Island, so well worth a visit.

Not desperately keen to drop £17 a head on pub fish and chips, we tried this kiosk-with-tables by St Aidens Winery. This place is underselling itself and deserves to be busier. The food is much better than you’d expect given the prices, I heard some people discuss it and walk away - more fool them. A really generously filled fresh crab sandwich, made to order, was £5.95, with lovely soft bread. My husband had a similarly generously filled cheese sandwich. We shared a tray of fries, had a soft drink each and we were out for little over £15.

We popped in because they had crab sandwiches and no one else seemed to have crab. The wait was VERY LONG. I ordered an Angus burger. It was the toughest, driest burger I've ever had. So, while prices were low, the quality was poor. I'd try somewhere else.

Such a lovely place, really good food, ambience and service. Spoke to the owner and they have worked hard over the last 7 years to produce a great product with a fabulous atmosphere . Very much deserved, recommend you try the food, it was delicious, and the beer and wine is excellent, great holiday treat ☺️

Just popped in for a quick bite on our travels through the area Lovely people running this little tea room. I had a piece of delicious Coffee and Walnut cake served with cream and blueberries and a latte coffee served just as I asked for. Hubby had a cheese and ham toastie which he really enjoyed

We stopped here after cycling up from Hexham. Really pleased with the warm welcome and service. We had the small plate scampi & chips each and the portion size was excellent. With 2 halves of lager/cider the bill came to £23.05. Would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent place, well run, we stayed the night for Bed and Breakfast and Dinner. Room 6 is large, lovely comfy bed, clean new bathroom, towel lovely and soft as was the bath robe. Dinner was excellent one of the best steak pies ever. Beers are good and a fair selection. A proper village pub which the locals use and love. Breakfast was of a good quality, even the fruit was top notch. Will return, this is one of the best.
