The Island Cove in Isle of Anglesey

I had a brownie mania bubble waffle and a kinder nutella ice cream milkshake. Best place in anglesey AMAZING!!!!

We discovered this cafe as another was closed but found it to be a wonderful & querky place. The outside doesn't do it justice as inside it is cosy & welcoming. Plus it's dog friendly with plenty of doggie treats on the menu.

First time, highly recommend, very fog friendly. Excellent breakfast, fast friendly service. Perfect view outside of the bay.

A small, dog friendly cafe. Be patient the coffee is superb and the grandkids loved their waffles , with ice cream. When back it’s a must!

We visited here for lunch before our journey home to Manchester. I visited with my two small children. The cafe looks lovely and the cakes look delicious. We ordered 3 jacket potatoes and waited over half an hour! No apology from staff and I saw them cooking it in the microwave so really not sure what took so long? I did see a staff member come in with cans of beans so maybe they’d ran out but if they had told me this we would have chosen an alternative. Hungry and tired kids don’t do well waiting 🤪. The food finally came and it was ok but definitely nothing special. Then again we did only order jacket potatoes so how special can that be ?! Anyway. The reason for 3 stars is a) the vert slow service And the worst part; they had no customer toilets!! My little boy needed the toilet before our 2 hour trip and I asked where the toilet was and was told there are no toilets but can use the hotel loo down the road?! I find that ridiculous. This place NEEDS to sort that out. What sort of cafe doesn’t have a toilet for customers? We ended up asking the oven shop next door if my son could use their toilets before he has an accident. (They kindly did let us). I’m sorry but I wouldn’t return.

We had breakfast here great choice for vegans and none vegans. We all had breakfast and they were all freshly cooked and delicious. We also had cakes on another day and they were gorgeous with lots of vegan options as well

Really good freshly made sandwiches . The breakfast batch was well filled and the blt batches very tasty. All good but the prices were more than other cafes in Benlech

Another fantastic gluten free breakfast served at The Island Cove. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Food is good and the staff are friendly.

Me and my fiancé attend Anglesey for family trips on holiday regularly but have never been to this cafe before. We were recommended to come here by family and as soon as I saw that they did bubble waffles we had to go! Such a cute little cafe in one of our favourite places, we love that it is dog friendly as we brought our little frenchie with us who had some doggie ice cream which she loved. I tried to lotus lover waffle which was a complete dream. It was full to the brim with lots of yummy ice cream, cream, chocolate and sauce! So tasty!! Defo recommend!

Arrived after a 3 hour drive, ordered coffee then discovered there are no toilet facilities. This cafe seats 14 inside and four outside. Is there no obligation to provide a toilet? My breakfast roll was fine; my companion had fried eggs on toast served on a cold plate. We left after eating quickly due to a full bladder!

Out of this world!! And the Best Buy Poppie has her own cafe with her own menu!!! Legends!!!! Food is out of this world!!! The cakes are to die for and what can I say the staff are a bloody brilliant team!! If you haven’t been here then you need to! My scone was light and fluffy and a defo one to have again!! Cracking little find will be back x

Fabulous local cafe with simple food! They do a great range of cakes & other hand made sweet treats. My daughter had one of the waffles cones and it looked epic! I had a breakfast with was all freshly made and delicious. Will be visiting again when we come in the summer!

Overall the place was great. I tried one of their brownies and was completely stunned, their animal service amazing and their staff are very kind. Due to my visit, I have recommended the Island Cove to one of the children I look after so they could take their family. They later told me they loved the place as well. I am so thankful the owner decided to start up the Island Cove and I will absolutely be going there a lot more for the foreseeable future
