The hungry shark village in Purbeck

Great spot for a drink after a day at the beach, fabulous views across the bay. Service is good and the prices are reasonable.

If you can find a table at the front or high up, this is a great place for an evening drink, looking out over the beach.

This is our go to when we visit Swanage. The fish and chips is great and fresh, and the setting is perfect with sea views.

Dog friendly. Burgers fish etc amazing good size portions friendly staff. Will visit again........... Good value for the quality you get

Every time we visit the restaurant has changed with qwirky additions to add to the ambeance,It seems arthur,s ideas are never ending.The food is always delicious,well cooked,hot & well presented.We have sampled everything on the menu,and never dissapointed,Give them a try

This cafe/restaurant has been upgraded from what was a basic chip and burger joint. They still serve burgers (a choice of several) and fish and chips, and now breakfast, but the highlights for us are the cosy alcoves. Family run with a desire to please, this is our favourite stop for a morning coffee, light lunch or evening meal. And they are licensed, too!

The setting is lovely, sea views but cosy. Great atmosphere. The service was great - especially given the food is cooked to order. The food was utterly delicious...according to Ed (our 9 year old food critic) it was "the best burger in the world", "Epic" and "awesome". Really reasonable price...and they do soft drinks & beer too!

What an amazing addition this year! Perfect place for a sweet treat! Staff are lovely and couldn’t do enough for you and the donuts and ice cream are to die for! Definitely will be back.

So glad they have added this, this year!!! After our food in the hungry shark we had a lovely dessert from the place next door! The staff was so friendly! As there was so much to choose from we didn’t know what to have! 100% come here again!!!!
