Good local pub with a friendly welcome

Love this place..came here with my son on a Saturday night, we really enjoyed having few drinks at this very welcoming pub.

Not been here for a long time,popped in last night for a drink,certainly had a lick of paint,much improved place

Visited the pub 3 times now and have always been given a warm welcome by Mel and her lovely staff. Come on Star Pubs, stop buggering about, sort the paperwork out and get that Pub to Lease sign down, you want a tennent to succeed and that bloody sign doesn't help one bit Well done Mel. Jo and Nick

Nice pub, fancied a pint of Doombar but it was off,had a Guinness instead,drank it in the beer garden, relaxing, garden could do with a tidy up and a bit of tlc

Went here to watch karaoke 1st time at this quaint little pub and only about 5 mins from where I live and never knew lovely atmosphere good night

Very cosy pub. The landlord and staff are very friendly. Great selection of drinks and a really fun quiz the first Tuesday of the month.

Went to the pub today for a few drinks whilst they had a lovely music act on. Brilliant atmosphere paired with excellent bar staff. Will be coming here again!

Pleasant enough pub, very quiet when we popped in for a pint. While it appears to be a family / social pub with substantial outside seating & a small play area we saw no sign of food being available and it appeared that only part of the premises is being used. Bit of a conundrum really!

Very friendly rural pub in Rearsby Leicestershire, good beer, good service and great for darts, quizzes and cosy winter nights, good sized off-road car parking, very clean, great for summers with plenty of nice benches and brollies front and rear

We went for lunch but unfortunately no food however the pint of bitter was good.

Gorgeous pub..loved the terraced seating outside. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Covid safe too. We had a very tasty pizza with side dishes and live music was playing which I understand is happening each Saturday through the Summer months. We'll be returning and taking friends !

Two cask beers (Harvest pale & Doom bar) on offer both of which were served in excellent condition. Will be back again soon.

As we have recently moved to the area we thought we'd take a drive around the surrounding villages. Whilst we were my 4 year old little boy suddenly became desperate for the toilet so I nipped into the horse and groom to use their rest rooms! As I did I was very rudely approached and was made to feel belittled in front of the whole pub by who I assume was the land lady! She asked me if I was a paying customer and when I told her the situation I was in she informed me that they weren't a public toilet!! I felt so embarrassed so rest assured I will NOT be a paying customer somewhere where I wasn't made welcome!!!
