Visited from Cardiff recently. Lady behind the bar was excellent. Very welcoming. Recommended the local pork scratchings

Great place for live music and fabulous beer . Saw Stuart from Legends here a few moths back ( great band by the way ) People friendly and the beer is excellent. All in all a very nice friendly pub .

Fab family friendly little pub. Great disabled access and facilities. Welcoming staff. Lovely little beer garden. Good prices and make a great coffee! Shame they havent got more parking space available

Have never eaten there but the staff are Fri and welcoming. Live music every Friday and Saturday evenings. Best beer garden in town!

Good local live music venue. On a very busy road, but close to larger car parks. Supplies of good, well kept wine and beer. Quite busy on weekend nights and obviously with live music might be described by some as loud, but certainly not unreasonably noisy.

Super friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere, topped off with a fun live band performance!

Nice little place but be aware this is a small place and gets very full during live shows. I'm not a regular so cannot comment on other entertainment but the band that was on seemed good. There is limited seating so for persons who cannot stand for long periods or in a wheel chair have issues to find a suitable comfortable place.

Popped on for a drink with family/friends for my moms birthday. Cider was flat and really expensive for a local pub and there is absolutely zero air circulation inside so its stuffy, smelly, sweaty and hot! We left after an hour which is a shame as the band were really good but couldn't breath in there. Bot our sort of place for sure!

BLOWN AWAY! Never been there before but had noticed, on Facebook, they had a live band on (push to play). I/we were warmly greeted, had an absolutely fantastic evening. Live band was AMAZING. So, if (on Fri/Sat) you're looking for a great place to go..........👌🏽👍

My band Velvet Jam played here last night and it was one of the best gigs we’ve had. Super friendly owners and bar staff, great atmosphere and crowd. Highly recommend this place for a few beers and some great music 🎶

Fab night out at the Hop Pole Bromsgrove,! Great atmosphere! Loz Rabone an accoustic Artist, fantastic singer and guitarist. Playing accoustic covers from 60's to modern day. Would definitely recommend to listen to his music and a fab night at the Hop Pole Inn!

Lovely drop of beer served when one drops into The Hop Pole Inn, especially the Bath’ums (the brewers must have been, er, under the influence of something sounding similar when they were racking their brains what to call their ale!).

I love the place ! Every time I'm in there on a Friday or a Saturday watching a band I have a smile on my face, it's a relaxing, happy atmosphere, with never a hint of aggression, I don't know if they do food, they close a little bit earlier than most pubs, but if you feel like more, you can just walk around the corner into the town, but most the time I feel like I've had my lot, and head home content .

Fridays are great fun with the live band. Good atmosphere and friendly staff and customers. Really enjoy the live bands but can be too loud at times and so sound is distorted or too much bass. Overall, a great night out.

Rocked up at the Hop Pole for first time in yonks for a Class of 1978 Waseley Hills School Reunion The beer and company was good and the Irish Folk Rock 3 piece live band was Bostin!

We regularly travel 10+ miles to visit this pub, the staff are all very friendly, the beer is good and well priced, they frequently have live music and the atmosphere is good. Recommended.

What lovely staff and customers. Our band 77 played there and nothing was a problem. Good range of beers, friendly locals and top staff. We'll worth a visit if you like live music as they have a band on every week. Loved the place and would definitely go there if in the area again either to see a band or just have a beer. Five stars from me!

As always, amazing live bands on a Saturday. Bar team are lovely people who make all customers feel welcome. Great place just to listen to some music and have a pint or a glass of wine with some friends. A couple of downsides which equated to only 4 stars: The first was the lack of options with some drinks including wine. The second was the garden/beer garden. There was a small but deep hole in the ground by the path which I nearly tripped on. I assume it was from a previous role or railing. Quite a bad tripping hazard as someone could break an ankle if they did trip. The other was the eyesore of the skip in the garden. I understand that this is temporary, but between the old scooters and electronics, it really did bring the overall appearance down.

We visited the Hop Pole Inn whilst we were away on a cycling trip. It was a great little place with a good friendly vibe. The bar staff were very welcoming and everyone in there was in good spirits. We love our live music so were thrilled when there was a band playing, made the night even better. Met some fabulous people and had a bit of a boogie too.

Great pub with friendly staff and a good quiz on a Tuesday night. Real ales on offer and a very good selection of gins. Guinness is a must here as it's probably the best in bromsgrove. Summer time will be good as the management have spoken of bbq's and live music in the beer garden at the rear. It also has a games upstairs too. I would recommend to anyone passing.

Nice little Pub, is generally at least £1 more expensive on drinks, than other pubs in the area that I've been to and Other than that, it's quite nice. I believe they have just had their pool room refurbished aswell, so that's a nice little bonus for anyone on their stop off with their mates or family.

Rubbish as usual only one real ale on and spirits gone up by a pound how can you justify this such a shame no longer our local any more just thought we would give it one more chance 😣

The band the transporters played well. there was a bit of feedback. the buffet was good. the pub wasn't very full but it didn't matter to me.

A great pub with a charming atmosphere. There is a game room with 2 pool tables and a dart board, there is a shelf that skirts the edge of the entire games room to rest drinks upon. Although you have to pay a deposit for the pool queues i can see why as they are nice in the hand. The drinks are cheap and they have nice drinks on tap.
