Popped in for lunch with my daughter and both ordered the baked potatoes. Reasonable price and pleasant surroundings. When the food arrived we were amazed! Each had a piping hot potato with butter at side with attractive salad and huge slice of Brie cheese - - - the plate was full, food well served and delicious. I just have to diet before a return visit!!

We love The Home Bakery! A spacious cafe with big tables for groups and comfy sofas. The lovely staff and quality, affordable food keep us coming back. There’s always a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere aided by the quirky, homely furnishings and vintage music. We recommend the quiche and salad for lunch and any of the cakes which are all delicious. Yet to visit for brunch but it’s on the to do list!

My mate and I stopped here for a lunch at about 2.15pm. They had a good menu. We made our selection and I went to the counter to place our order giving the table number. I was given the option of paying with the order or when we had finished. The drinks came first in quick time and the food was not far behind. We both enjoyed our meal and tea. We then selected a slice of cake to finish off our lunch. The staff were good and the meal fine. Recommended.

As far as dog friendly eateries go this takes some beating, it is situated in the Antiques Bazaar on the outskirts of Crewkerne which has a large car park at the back and is also dog friendly. We stayed nearby in North Perrott and the Home Bakery became a regular visit for food and refreshments. It serves one of the largest vegan breakfasts we have seen and has soya milk too. We will be back with friends next year and we will definitely be eating here again.

Cute little cafe situated in the corner of Antiques Bazaar. A great place to visit, especially after shopping! (I always leave my other half here whilst I look around!!) The cakes are always yummy and they do great lunches too. Staff are always friendly and helpful and all the food is very reasonable priced. Would recommend a visit.

Having been in before and had excellent ploughman's lunch, really disappointed with the poor offering on this occasion. The salad and apple was more a garnish than part of a ploughman's lunch. It was almost as though they couldn't be bothered to make the effort. Poor value for money and not to be repeated.

This cafe can be found in the antique emporium on the road heading out of Crewkerne to Dorchester. All food is freshly prepared there in the cafe and the dining area is surrounddd by antiques and curiosities which is all rather fun. There is a good selection of hot and cold snacks . Their soup is always delicious and their homemade cakes are wonderful not to mention their cracking good breakfasts that are clearly very popular with the locals and anyone passing through. We love the friendly and efficient service and prices are good so it really is a little hidden gem that deserves a gold star!

Food was OK but some dishes were better than others and our party of 7 had different experiences. Was quite expensive for what we got so we were disappointed in the end.

Bad news first. Took nearly an hour from order to starters arriving. However, we knew they were busy as they just squeezed us in. Other than that, no complaints. All food was delicious as always. Hi
