Food was lovely and there was plenty of it. We all enjoyed our meals. The food was cheaper then expected, drinks a little pricey but we expected that. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Food was awful. Possibly the worst I've ever had. We left our plates full and the staff just cleared them away without concern so I'd imagine they're used to it!

Great food at a great price. fast service and great atmosphere with live music. Great selection of mains desserts and kids meals. Wide range of beer at good prices.

Quite simply one of the best streaks I've ever eaten. The 12oz Rump I had, was cooked medium rare to perfection and was tasty and melt-in-the-mouth tender. Highly recommended

Ate here for lunch on holiday. We had the loaded fries and nachos. Really nice, great portion size and would definitely eat here again.

The service and atmosphere was pleasant but unfortunately the food did not match up to these standards, I ordered a full rack of ribs which was £25, they boasted the ribs are cooked fresh daily, when I received my ribs they looked like they had come out of a plastic packet, they were grey and slimey and had hardly any meat on them, I will not be going back to this restaurant!

Food stopped at a strange time. Got over charged for drinks and entertainment was not the best basically shouted at. Do not recommend. Dino second to none. Not impressed and understand why no one was here.

Came here over the weekend, had Sunday carvery, was excellent 👌🏼, their bread and butter pudding and custard is to die for ,, the service is good and staff friendly , will be back.also dog friendly+++

With lots of options for places to go for breakfast we eventually opted for the Hollywood Diner. There is plenty of seating to choose from and options for breakfast are pretty much traditional English or an American breakfast (maple syrup and pancakes). Food was generally OK, although I personally would have preferred the bacon to be a little more cooked. The diner is fairly laid back, so there was no rushing or feeling like we needed to rush with the kids. The only annoyance was that the music / speakers were quite loud - but partly our own fault as we let the kids pick where we were sitting! Staff were friendly and pleasant when ordering, bringing out food - they were happy to get us more sugar for the teas / coffees when asked. Also whilst there the kids met Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch), so that kept the kids busy for a bit whilst we were waiting for food!

Waiting on staff could use a lesson in manners. Later on in the evening my wife told me your male waiter with the glasses told my wife and sister to move out the way so he can clear a table. Obviously a bully towards women as he said this after the men left the building. Not once by any staff member asked us how our food is.

we always come here for something to eat sometime in the weekend when we come to Skegness for the Butlins weekend. today we stopped here for breakfast, I had the American breakfast everything was lovely, scrambled eggs were perfectly done not too hard or too runny. enjoyed it very much

Cannot comment on the food as we never got served, one poor lady working all out to try a serve everyone, we left due to the very long wait times.

Went in today specifically for the gluten free menu options. The food was ok. A bit expensive for what it was but my niece enjoyed it. The service though was very poor. The lady that served us was sullen and gave the impression that everything was too much trouble. It wasn’t busy so you’d think they could do better.

A great place for a family meal. Cost effective and the staff are lovely! There's evening entertainment after food service has stopped! Great place!!

Lovely cooked food - the Steak n Ale pie was amazing. Great value and excellent service. Nice to be able to come in with the dog too. Dog friendly seating inside it was nice to relax and enjoy food.

Food came out literally straight away , a mixed grill and tikka massla. Mixed grill , all meat tasted the same , onion rings over done , and all chucked on a plate that was far too small . Over priced for basic , re heated food .

Needed somewhere family friendly to dine on an evening with my 2 young children 2&4 who would normally be in bed but had danger napped in the afternoon. First impressions were very clean and tidy, staff ate very friendly and service is fast. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating for my son with ASD whos a picky eater. Live music started as were were finishing and was at a good noise level. Toilets clean just overall very good experience as a parent dining out with young children!

Really enjoyed eating out here, also some good nights with entertainment for young children and karaoke 🎤

When I first came in it was empty but apart from that food was perfect and so was the service the people here are very polite

Food was over cooked, staff where rude, staff takes cups without asking, men’s bathroom leaks from pipes when using the flush button, other than the salad the food is cooked from frozen chips were not crispy enough burger and bacon where to salty staff always watching you

My husband ordered at the bar our food, drinks. To be told at the bar we don't do pina colada, it was clearly on the menu, so ended up with something else. Then the food came. It was dry. Not enough maple syrup on the chicken waffles.. Once my husband had finished his food.. I was still eating, the girl came and started clearing his plate away. Wow I said wowza how rude is she. Unbelievable. (There was a singer on behind us trying to sing. ) couldn't wait to get out of there.

Ok place for a midday meal, a pint and a sit down. Had the Blue Moon burger (blue cheese) with 2 onion rings, salad and chips. Burger very nice. Service quicker than in the past.

Can't go wrong with this place food was amaizing and I went with a family of 7 (including me) and the food was brought to us in less than 10 minutes!! Wow what a great day, I had the 8 oz steak which is to die for here is a pic of my food👇

Decent grub. Service was good and food prices reasonable. Chilli cheese dog was lovely and all was served nice and hot 😋. My wife had gluten free 10oz gammon meal with egg and pineapple, one child had BBQ brisket fries and our other child had jumbo fish fingers and chips. Everyone was happy with the food. I think the soft drinks were a bit over priced but we all enjoyed our meals so all in all it's worth a visit if in the area.

Atmosphere is nice, Service is okay; not outstanding but not poor either. Food is hit or miss. The fact there's a coeliac friendly menu is very nice - a pleasant surprise as most restaurants and diners have maybe 2 options max, or you have to resort to things like chips. Burger was divine, but that's where my compliments end - the rest of the food was very sub-par. It's not often I'll turn my nose up at food - especially meat - but the steak had a horrible bitter and metallic taste. With experience from working with food, I'd hazard a guess that the oil hasn't been changed in a while, or the steak was on the older side. I also do not think many items on the menu are fresh: the chips and vegetables are glaringly obviously frozen which is a bit of a let-down when you consider our order came to £35. All in all, if you want a better-tasting meal here, the burgers were the only real nice thing that Hollywood had made themselves and not bought frozen.

Me and my boyfriend chose to come here on our first night of our holiday together, best believe we made the right decision!! , I had the cheese burger with bacon with the chips and my boyfriend had the 12 oz steak and since walking out of the place , it is all he talks about , within 5 minutes of leaving he’s told his whole family to go there and how amazed we was with the tastiness of the food , staff were so friendly- better believe we will be back on our final night for more , couldnt have had better food and service any where else , see you again on our last night :)

Food was shocking quality, asked for rare steak and got medium/well-done. 2/5 hygiene rating (look it up!) Expensive for what it is, as well.

Been in before usually lovely service, came in today and bar staff were rude when serving.

It's a standard Skegness bar. The food is well over priced. Take the mix grill for example £22.99 or 8oz rump steak gonna cost ya £13.99. But to be expected. Last time I ate here the food wasn't good. Its 12.30 pm now the place is Dead as you can tell by pics I will post so not much of a atmosphere.

Was made to feel very welcomed, was playing great music and lots of space. The ladies who served us were so helpful and gave an extra plate for our children without me even asking. Will defo be back!

Wasn't sure from the outside, not the most appealing. But thought we would try as we only wanted a drink and something basic. To be honest I couldn't even tell it was open from the outside. My daughter is coeliac so we are used to just getting her chips and asking if those are gluten free. To our surprise they had a gluten free menu! Absolutely brilliant. She chose the star burger on gluten free bread. It was basically a butterflied chicken breast on a bun with chips and salad. Absolute find! I'm always looking for places that make her feel "normal" so we were over the moon. Will definitely visit again next time we come. They need to spruce up the outside and make it more inviting (and look open 😂) that's my only criticism.

Having been to Skegness before and ate at this diner we were excited to try breakfast here. Sadly it seems the establishment has gone down hill. I understand its the start of the season but on the contrary, this should mean they are prepared. We were one of three tables that came for breakfast and I wish we hadnt bothered. Upon seating we discovered bits of food on the floor and a wrapper from smoking tips, which indicated that cleaning had not been done prior to opening (as we ate around 9am). The booth tables are a far distance from the booth seats so you have to lean forward to eat at the table but as we are open-minded we knew we could make it work (and we were hungry ahah). Unfortunately the food was not up to standard, and looking at the reviews from last season it seems to have gone rapidly down hill. From first sight the breakfast appeared okay… but as we started eating the issues began to arise. we had one extra hashbrown because there wasnt any mushrooms (which we werent informed about so its lucky we like hashbrowns). The bread was barely toasted and the bacon was practically still oinking. The eggs were cremated on the bottom but raw on the top so we couldnt eat the eggs (unless youre okay with eating snot). Not only was the food a huge health and safety issue but there was no toilets available either as they were blocked off with wooden beams (which is illegal for an eating establishment to not provide toilets in the UK). The coffee machine was broken and despite it being 1-2 degrees celcius the front doors were left wide open. When the server asked about our meal, we informed him of our issues and he brushed them off and said “ill tell the chef” as he walked away. Customer service and care is definitely not at the forefront of this place. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this diner at all (and neither would the owners either as they keep closing around 1-2pm because they have no customers). The food safety and hygiene levels are extremely questionable and the food is not worth the money when you cant eat half of it without risking salmonella. Given the fact they’ve had a whole winter season to prepare I would expect their first custom to be perfect…. Especially as a breakfast is a basic meal to make. 1/5 and we will not be returning… not worth the risk 🤢😮‍💨

Went in Hollywood last night entertainment very good inflations duo and singer Angie think that's what they called her ,great night, they even even came round with free food for everyone, many thanks...

Went here in September 2022, we only go there as my husband loves the ribs. But what I will say is that the bar staff are so miserable and quite frankly a bit rude. Very disappointed this time not sure if will go there again.

We had lunch here in the Spring Bank break. As it was midweek lunchtime it was fairly quiet but I can honestly say it was so clean and staff were very attentive. We ordered 2 jacket potatoes and 2 burgers with fries and drinks. The food didn't take long to get to us and was piping hot and delicious. Its the first time we've called in here but will definitely be back in future

Food came fast and service was polite but the place is really not clean and not maintained well. Food was bland. Ordered philly cheese steak. Was literally cheap grated cheese ontop of some tough steak slices and bits of uncooked soggy pepper and onion shoved underneath the cheese. My friend ordered the steak medium, came very rare with peppercorn sauce from a cheap packet mix. Really disappointing. The bar has a lot of potential and the staff are really nice but the food and the cleanliness needs major improvement, also this old man kept coming to clear plates when some of us hadn't finished eating yet which isn't the greatest.

Avoid at all costs. Bar staff seem missrable. Glass collector coming to the table every minute to see if there are empty glasses when you can clearly see there isn't any emptys. The food was disgusting and definitely is not worth the price. One of the party ordered a £20 steak which asked for medium rare was basically still breathing. Plate collectors not once asked how the food was especially considering non of us had finished our meal in a party of 4 so they clearly know how terrible the food is. Would avoid at all costs. Had better meals from the greasy spoon.

Terrible service , no check back , waiter takes plates before all the table are done, tables sticky and ordered a mix grill medium rare comes medium well ...not happy...this is from a chefs point of view!

Absolutely filthy restaurant (old, greasy, dirty chairs with food crubs, dirty toilets, huge spider webs on decorations), the food was not adequate the price. Ordered a steak (requested medium rare) which was absolutely dry, same with cheeseburger (no sauce in the bun?). The only good thing was bottled drink...

Have been to this bar 2 times in the past with no problems and great service (during covid) tried to visit this weekend, was greeted by a very friendly member of security and given a food menu which was cleaned in front of us and given a table for 2. Then we sat for 20 minutes with not a single person coming to take our order or ask if we had been served. My partner told a member of staff that we were waiting and she said she would be over shortly. After watching her clear a table and then disappear to not be seen again we left. I understand it was busy but 20 minutes was too long for me to be ignored and we ended up at the takeaway instead.

The staff were rude upon arrival. The table service was none existent. Sat there for 20 mins waiting to be served and ended up walking out. Abusing customers to sanitize hands at the door but chairs and tables were very dirty and unhygienic.

Told to find a table and someone would be with us to take our order, 25 minutes after arrival and no one had even bothered to acknowledge us let alone take an order.

It would be so much better if the frozen chips would of been cooked properly not worth the money
