Service is just bad even for Wetherspoons.

Cheap, cheerful and clean. Not much else you need from a spoons

We went a few days prior to the day shown on a Sunday to try the breakfast. The cost of the breakfast is very reasonable. Unfortunately, our different breakfasts arrived. The baked beans on my plate were like warm, so were the hash browns. The egg was rubbery! It wasn't just my food that was not hot. The tomato on the vegetarian breakfast was hard and not cooked through. The beans and hash browns were also cold on the plates. Maybe they were left sitting around too long. Do they not have hot plates? It's such a shame 🫠

I visited this place with a friend and spent about £90 on food and drinks to celebrate a special occasion. However, we received the worst treatment from the staff. They didn’t clean the table before we ate, despite it being full of leftovers. I waited eight minutes in a pointless queue just to get a few beers because the bartender was busy chatting with his friends. In short—nice pub, terrible staff.

I didn't eat on this occasion, but I was impressed with how busy it was and also the offer on Backyard IPA for £2.45. Small beer garden and fairly large indoor area. Being so busy gave it a vibrant atmosphere. Short walk to bus stops and a bit further to the nearby train station.

It is a good find. Well priced beer, food and drinks in general. Particularly good price for breakfast. The premises have an outdoor area. It does get quite busy earlier on and throughout the day. A nice place to relax.

It's not a pretty venue and the food is barely mediocre BUT the drinks are CHEAP and the wine is pretty good. Would go again.

Sweetest Bartender Ladies, nice atmosph ere, and decent food at a decent price. Kudos to Olivia who does not go the extra mile, she goes the extra light year, give that lady a raise!

I like this pub. Food is so-so, but the booze is decently priced and the atmosphere is great. Def like coming here.

A really clean and friendly Wetherspoons situated on busy Streatham high Road. Clean toilets, lots of seating, and nice decor inside. Lovely and well attended beer garden out the back, small smoking section. Can get very busy.

Been coming here a few years, and the best of all the Spoons I can walk to. Drinks, food, amenities, customers and staff are all of what you'd expect from Spoons. And a little more. Took me a few years to discover a very nice garden at the very back. Spoons at its finest

The place is fine since the refurbishment, however anytime we have ordered food we have had to go to the bar to either request our food or drinks after a big while waiting for them and either not having been served or being mistaken for something else.

Today we came into the Streatham weatherspoons. We had food ordered . Very Very disappointed 😞!!!! My husbands mash potato was actually stone cold 🥶. So we walked a young man over and tried to explain. Very quickly he whisked the plate off the table while I was in mid conversation to him and he turned his back and off he went . I then had a issue with my jacket potato, again tried to explain and off he went again . He then brought my money back to me . I didn't even ask for a refund!!! . My husband's food came back and he said they gave him extra chips !!!all of 10 chip's!!! The issue wasn't the chip's it was the cold mash !! I tried again to explain and he said what was the problem I gave you a refund 🤬🤬🤬

It's a spoons not a bad one fairly quite for a quite pint and a bit of conversation, food is typical spoons food not bad!!

Had to wait over half an hour for food while my family got there's. No apology or explanation given till I went up to one of the staff to ask where my food was. After 10 min I was told my meal was given to wrong table and they will make me a new one which made the wait longer. Love wetherspoons but would not come to this one again very poor service.

Very decent weatherspoons which has been recently refurbished. Visited a few times recently and always been impressed. It's nice to have it as an option in the area

Have never eaten the food, however the service here at the bar/ on the floor is great. The price for drink is also very reasonable. The people around me also seem to be enjoying their food.

Very nicely decorated, good selection of ales and main reason about the review is the staff, Giles and marzan service was amazing behind the bar, remembering our order and giving personal service. The manager (holly) was rushed of her feet but always had a smile and made our visit better. It’s our first time in this Wetherspoons and we will be back next time we’re working in this area.

Good pirces, tasty food, lovely atmosphere

Where on earth can you get a VEGAN full English breaky for £2.99!!! Maybe Bali but this is London people. Everyone knows about the cheap pints at the Spoons but did you know about the cheap food?! Vegan breaky- x2 vegan sausys, x2 hashbrowns, x2 mushrooms, a grilled tomato, baked beans, toast and spread. Plus help yourself basis to all the condiments you could want. HP, mayo, T sauce, mango chutney, chilli sauce, tartare you name it. My partner orders 2 breaky’s for himself since it’s that cheap. Basic but great value, served very quickly. Coffee is from an auto machine and it’s not very nice, but you buy one and you get free coffee or tea refills. A huuuge menu with loads of inexpensive food and drink options.

Nice big wetherspoons just opposite St. Leonards Church. Good place to have some fun with friends or a nice dinner. For students, the shots deal is really cheap so it attracts a lot of students.

JD Wetherspoon cheap but delicious food and drinks. What else do you need.

I came back very disappointed from this pub with terrible service and response from assistant manager to main manager ( Holie). I was delivered wrong food order on pointing out wrong order I was treated very badly, arguing and telling me don't do it again as if she was talking to a teenager. Approached senior manager for the day ( 15.9 24 ) Holie she didn't take it any serious without any apology and was told if I wanted to complain write to head office.

This bar has recently benefited from a much needed refurbishment. It benefits from a good sized beer garden, I just wish staff better enforced smoking area in the beer garden. The smoking area is clearly marked, tables which are non smoking are also clearly marked but smokers just seem to ignore them and just move the ashtrays. It’s frustrating.

Thought the outside area was too small and too close to smoking. Tables were not clean.

Horrible customer service, mistaken order, missing order twice. and the server seemed upset to try fix this. there was no staff around to assist. disappointed.

Great little spoons on Streatham High Road, nice beer garden too!

I personally felt it was truly a chilled but also vibrant environment. Perfect if you want to go somewhere with the lads and wind down. Staff members are very fluent with their customer service and are ready to serve no matter how busy they are. I never had any food during my time there, so I wasn't able to give that a correct accurate rating.

Steven is a disgrace to this place

Terrible experience mainly due to outrageous behaviour of one of the staff, allegedly Steven, dark skin young guy with braids. Apparently he is a racist. He stopped serving other race customers but continued service dark skin people. He was extremely rude and impolite. He started offending me and my friends. It's so strange he is allowed to work here. I have been a customer for years but today it was the last time I came here.

Would not serve my family at 830 bc my kids have to be off premise at 9 pm. ?????? Just came in for a bite to eat.... Extremely poor form for a " neighborhood pub"

Awful food hard chips and uncooked bacon. Peas like bullets .. no straws or lemonade. Salad withered, food Presentation appalling. Limited serviettes and dirty tables full of empty glasses.

Nicest wetherspoon I've been to! It's just had a total refurbishment including lovely wooden floors, leather seats and modern decor. Nice outside space to eat and drink also. Food was lovely and served quickly. Very clean.

Not that many 'Spoons are good. This one is. Nice friendly service, and the standard good value food/drink. Large inside area (though a bit bright) and a reasonable size outdoor area too. May 24...it's had a bit of a revamp. Nothing major, but it all helps... And the smokers can now hide under a decent sized outdoor area if needed.

Recently refurbished to a high standard. A big improvement to how it was previously. Very clean and smart. Really helpful staff, food really good for what you spend on a meal deal with a drink. Well worth your time.

It was busy as it was there second day of reopening.

A very pleasant afternoon having lunch and a couple of pints with an old friend. Although busy, it was not packed and we even found space in one of their semi-private 4 seater booths. Service was relatively quick as was the serving of the food.

Hope that the pub refurbishment will not stop on the appearance. Some of the "dead wood" staff have to be replaced, especially this glass polisher B...

Lovely pub typical spoons but a bit cheaper than int city . Great variety of ales and wine good polite friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food all hot and tasty . Fish and chips . Steak and all sides .

Nasty experience with a waiter here, made a rude comment to me as he was delivering our table’s drinks and made us feel uncomfortable. Definitely put a negative damper on the evening.

Lovely pub, very good atmosphere with mainly an older clientele or families. The food is usual Wetherspoons fayre, and obviously, you can order food and drink to your table using the app. Very reasonably priced as well.

I've been here several times now and found the atmosphere a quiet place. Have attended during the weekend for a meal. Food is certainly a good valve. On my last occasion, the peacefulness was interested twice. One was a female 'professional' beggar come in and approached customers. The staff promptly asked her to leave.

The behavior of employees, the way they speak, their tone of voice and facial expressions are very important in such places. In addition, full service must be provided without the customer forgetting cutlery. thanks.

It's a really nice pub. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive, making sure we were enjoying our meals. Good selection of ales. Plenty of seating. They have seats level with the entrance and more seats downstairs where the bar is. They have a beer garden in the back. Service was quick and ordering was easy using the app. Restrooms are upstairs. There is a handicapped restroom on the same floor as the entrance doors. The only downside I have is that they close the beer garden at 9:45pm. Most close them at 10. I wish they never closed it.

Had breakfast on a cozy Friday morning. Food is okay. Hash brown are still hot and crispy. Price gone up but still reasonable.

Ordered a steak with salad, the steak was perfectly cooked and extremely tender. Table service excellent and staff as always helpful and professional.

I came back to London for a holiday and I had to visit one our favourite stomping grounds in Streatham, always excellent food and atmosphere here. After 11 years it was a pleasure to return.

I worked in Stratham Hill and didn't know much about the pubs there. I have planned to go to a small shop that sells craft beer in a side street with my son, who is a fan and we finally made it, called Art and Craft.Then,when he'd brought a few cans of craft beers he hadn't tried, we popped into this Weatherspoons pub for a drink and a plate of nacos to share. I was pleasantly surprised. Clean and an ambient environment. Perfect for what we wanted situated on the High Street and easy to get back to the station where we parted company to make our respective way home. It was a pleasant experience. A Weatherspoons we would visit again

I really enjoy my time coming here with my mates always a good laugh and nice and relaxed atmosphere and prices for beer 🍺 and fantastic 👌 I highly recommend this place for anyone look for a good weekend out.

A typical "lower division" Wetherspoons, with the usual "regular" types. On the day I visited it, they were selling Doom Bar for 99p a pint!

Usually packed, but on weekdays it's nice to have dinner, they have great combos, very affordable and quality is ok.

Good service, good food and traditional British pub environment. Love it.
