didn't try the food service was ok but didn't have a lot of what we drank 2 bottles and we left

Just popped in as on holiday nearby. Friendly atmosphere with great tasting food and good service. Also selling jars of home made jams and marmalade. Would have gone again if not going home. Worth a visit.

Excellent roast. Quick service although there weren't many in as we were early. Real fire in the grate. Reasonable price

Great small menu with pub classics A drinkers pub that caters for parties and functions too. The occasional live band. Great atmosphere whether you're local or not.

Great night at the Highweek, Rob and Louise cooked incredible wood fired pizza and Polly cooked her amazing home cooked food for my colleague, loved it as always, great pub, good people

Never had the roast,as only popped in for a few drinks, but looked good and everyone we spoke to said it was good. This a great community pub with a real friendly atmosphere and fire . Will definitely be our local now .

We, as a group of friends, visit the Highweek Inn when it's one of our birthdays. Polly looks after us so well, always a warm welcome, happy to help staff, and understanding too....

This is a jolly village pub with posh Burt's crisps, a decent selection of drinks and lovely helpful staff. There is an open fire, and a pool table, plus plentiful parking on a hill... Make sure you have a good handbrake! The food is well priced and wholesome, with excellent portion sizes. They do specials too. I highly recommend the lasagne. Not too greasy and not drowning in cheese. There's some outside seating in the summer, but this is often frequented by smokers.

On an overnight stay at Hartree, a lovely b&b in Newton Abbot, we visited Highweek Village Inn, great choice of good priced drinks, very pleasant staff, we did not have a meal here tonight, but the food we saw served, and empty plates taken away, nothing more to add.

Visiting, on a one night stop over to our holiday. Great local pub, friendly atmosphere. Great staff, good prices, didn't eat but witnessed great food being delivered with great portions and good value, all plates went back empty. Very clean and well looked after. Toilets are brilliant 👏 puts a lot of big chains and others to shame!!

Went for Sunday lunch with the family. We had late lunch (3.00pm) but it was still good quality and excellent value. Its highly recommended as far as we are all concerned.

Food was OK had Sunday roast. Booked table through third party website that they didn't seem to be aware of our booking. Our table was in a room off the main bar there was no atmosphere. There was only one other person in the room. Lots of noise from bar as rugby on telly.

Today we held mum and dad's 60th anniversary meal at Highweek Inn, excellent meal and service. Thank you so much Polly and team x

Been coming hear a lot more lately and it's a really nice place. Staff are very friendly and kind. Also they have a great selection of Ale which is great for me! The cubic is a new favourite for me. I keep meaning to get some food there cause I keep hearing it's very nice and well priced. Also if you are an avid pool played like me their pool table is in great condition plenty of space as well. Can't really fault highweek in, so it gets 5 stars from me!

As I walked in, caught my imagination, clean, well laid out , loads of character,good home cooked meals at attractive prices, very close to town, definatly worth a visit...

Always feel relaxed when we visit our caravan in Devon and one reason is we always pop into the Highweek Inn. Pint of Thatchers Gold is 50p less than any other pub in the area. Food outstanding. Warm welcome. A traditional local pub.

We went as part of a funeral party, but as knew some of the staff behind the bar, it made things easier to handle. They also provided food which was good
