We loved the warm welcome and the professionalism of the staff. It definitely isn’t cheap but you pay for what you get and this was top drawer service. Rare but really appreciated. Highly recommend a visit.

A great venue, with intelligent and knowledgeable staff delivering an exceptional service. The lads here know a thing or two about infusing that sweet nectar from the Gods in a modern and contemporary manner. Fully recommend experiencing this for yourselves. A marvellous evening!

Under the street cocktail bar with a creative menu. They have a massive selection of whisky but their menu cocktails feature different spirits too. It’s a fun menu to browse too! The Madame Change was my personal favorite. They have courtyard seating as well.

This whiskey-forward cocktail bar is a 'must try' when in Bath. We ordered from the Vol. 3 menu specials as well as the classics, and each cocktail was meticulously made and delicious, including several from outside the whiskey family. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - they also have some local barrel picks that are well worth trying!

Love the drink had b.a.m. gold rush x2 and whiskey flights , loved the atmosphere and the staff went above and beyond with there knowledge and service a+++ , I had the micthers whiskey flights server explained each whiskey how they would drink and order to drink so not to over power then next , brilliant service and great conversation/ banter see you again

Awesome!!, great service and extraordinary cocktails, I asked for a ramos gin fizz and the bartender did a great great job. The others were also perfect tho. If you want to get a perfect cocktail or just taste more than 400 whiskys, it's the place to go!! Thanks and see you soon

A true cocktail bar, where the drinks are well thought out and creative. You cant go through the menu and just have "the usual" but get to try something new and explore just a little more than you might normally. Drinks are really well made, well presented and team will be sure to help get you towards something you will enjoy. Music totally on vibe too.

The staff make this the best cocktail bar I've been to. Full of passion for their work, clearly knowledgeable about the drinks and most importantly, making customers feel welcome and putting them at ease as they talk through the menu. Would thoroughly recommend this small but perfectly formed place.

Absolutely superb whisky and cocktail bar; we were in Bath for two nights and came here for a nightcap on the first night. Talked Adam’s ear off about Scotch and had some really delicious drams. The following day we returned for pre-dinner cocktails, sitting at the bar. Had a couple from the current selection, then asked George if we could go off the books and he was more than happy to. We had a sidecar, daiquiri, and a sazerac, and all were absolutely superb. A fabulous little place.

A cool little sophisticated bar tucked in a cave-like setting in the heart of the city. Although small, it did pack a punch with its unusual style merging macabre haunting with hiphop, which bizarrely worked. The drinks menu using hip-hop cover albums was clever, and it apparently had a choice of 300 whiskeys. The staff were also very knowledgeable.

Cannot recommend this enough!!! Best bar in Bath! Always feel welcomed and the place always has a great atmosphere! George and Dan are both very knowledgeable! This is a must if you are visiting Bath!

Best bar in Bath no doubt! Fantastic knowledge of whisky & incredible cocktails if you’re not a whisky drinker. I’ve celebrated family birthdays here, date nights, solo after work drinks and brought in the new year on multiple occasions. Best cocktail in my personal opinion is the ‘Southcider’, however they have new cocktails to choose from often & don’t mind making something off menu. Always a cracking atmosphere, 10/10 recommend! Tip: If you’re visiting and want to do as the locals do, then having a ‘Crabsmasher’ (it’s a shot) is a must!

After a day of exploring Bath, we popped into the hideout for a drink after the sun had set. Really good vibes, whether it’s with friends or perfect for date night. we didn’t have a booking (it seemed like most people hadn’t booked tbf, but all/most seated). It’s a hidden gem tucked away near the abbey, we sat outside with heaters which kept us toasty and all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming! I think “jacks” served us, shout out to him made our experience an enjoyable one. We had a margarita and old fashioned which was stunning, and two more shared a carafe of a recommended medium bodied red wine. Indoors had a nice intimate atmosphere with great music playing - a shame this can’t be played outside too but assume there’s legal reasons for that!

One of the coolest pubs in Bath. Went here after recommendation by staff at The Dark Horse. The bartender/custom drinks list was a hit. Staff was also very friendly.

Popped in 19/03/24 for quick rum cocktails. Top notch service and atmosphere with friendly staff. Worth a visit if you’re in Bath for a night out.

Fantastic gem in Bath. Stopped off for drinks after dinner & sat at the bar. Huge selection of spirits, even for seasoned drinkers. Fantastic whisky bar in the centre of Bath. Popular and there may be a wait to enter during busy periods. Enormous whisky selection and lots of brilliant whisky cocktails covering a huge flavour range. The outdoors area has heat lamps. Staff were helpful and let us know when a seat was available indoors. Do yourself a favour and order a crabsmasher

I was recommended the hideout by another bartender as one of the best bars in the UK. I was skeptical but after a visit I get it. It's a great venue when the weather is warm enough and the cocktail selection is eclectic but decent and diverse. I did the signature, special and went off menu with an old fashioned found in Amsterdam. It was a great experience and found everything top shelf

This was a find, a whisky den! So many bottles, a greet from a very knowledgeable young man and the music was properly cool, says the 56yr old. A great "old fashioned" to round off a wonderful day but I will be back. Thank you guys!

One of my favorite cocktail bars in all of the UK. We have been to Bath three times (so far) and each time we have enjoyed visiting The Hideout multiple times. The cocktails are well thought out and have enjoyable stories in the menu. The best part, of course, is that they taste great. These people know their spirits. If you don’t want a cocktail, stop in for a dram. They will help you find exactly what you want.
