Very relaxing place for afternoon teas and coffee. There was a great selection and very helpful and welcoming male server (possible owner maybe?) either way, an overall loverly place to catch up with friends.

Something funny going on here. A curious mix of reviews. We had coffee, freshly squeezed apple juice and two pieces of cake - factory made - nothing special. £17.85.

A really relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Great service and very kind staff. Their drinks are amazing, would highly recommend the hot chocolate and americano!! Very high quality coffee!!!

Always empty and not hard to see why. Just walked past today to see a guy working there (older, facial hair, grey hair), outside the place snort, hawk up and spit on the street. Disgusting.

Went to Moorland Gate with my husband after seeing loads of recommendations on the local Facebook group. It didn't dissapoint and it is a real local gem. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It has a good menu with a range of options , mainly Italian food but I did notice they also did cooked breakfasts for brunch visits. Both me and my husband were very happy with our meals. Great flavours, good quality and obviously freshly cooked. We will definitely return and encourage others to do the same.

Another lovely meal from this charming local restaurant. We had take out pizzas which were super tasty and the service is excellent. So lucky to have this great venue on Moorland Road.

All for supporting local business but I’m sorry the Italian side of the food is just so bad. Ordered online and the pasta was just tasteless and seemed to be using premade pasta and sauce. Charging £13 for Bolognase that tasted of school food and seafood pasta which was 100% frozen seafood. ( mushy prawn and mussel ) fresh usually has texture. £17 btw. maybe the breakfast is good but avoid the Italian. ( ordered last week. )

Moorland Road has needed a nice cafe like this for some time. Very clean. Good flavours and generous portions.

Lovely place. The owner mohammed was kind enough to make me a fresh mint pot, even went to buy mint for it. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared.

Generous potion for falafel starter, hopefully in future they'll have more options for alcoholic beverages as the 330 ML beers are too small and too expensive if you fancy staying for drinks. I look forward to coming back for a Turkish coffee.

Decided to come for an evening meal tonight and what a treat it was! We had a starter and main both extremely generous portions. I really hope this restaurant/cafe gets the business they deserve The food was beautiful.

Clean and made welcome from the start. Full english was good, made us a Mocha (which wasn't on the menu, but was willing to try, which was very good btw). Reasonably priced, would recommend

Lovely place and good coffee. Breakfast looked good but ours never arrived despite ordering and checking the order twice. Staff were lovely but owner seemed uninterested that we had waited for over an hour and our order hadn't even gone through the system.

Came here today with my Mum for lunch, loved that they serve the breakfast menu until 3pm - the guy serving was fantastic, really friendly and welcoming. Delicious food, great service - will be back soon to try the main menu!
