Was really looking forward to visiting this pub but was closed with absolutely no sign of life at 3:30pm, despite website and Google listing saying open til 5pm. Please update your hours - very disappointed after a long steep walk.

The Richmond arms is a lovely pub / restaurant in a quintessential area of Bath away from the hustle and bustle. We visited this pub with a group of friends and our 9month old baby. We had a really lovely time. Sat outside, although lots of seating in doors. We had the pizzas they were delicious and reasonably priced along with the local craft beers. Would recommend coming out to visit this little quiet area of bath. They also do pasta making parties, which look great fun. Street parking, un-permitted. Would recommend.

We visited for the weekend and had a wonderful stay at the Richmond Arms. Really impressed with the rooms, well thought out and so comfortable. The Pizza’s at the pub on the Friday were delicious. Definitely be returning.

Only open for one evening during our visit but the quality of wine and beer was great. The olives were so good. Service was really friendly and the general atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Perfect.

Super venue for a party / event, to drop by for drinks and food and sit in the sunny beer garden, or for a nice chilled day. Having held a 30th there, the staff were incredible (shout out to Luke and Callum) and nothing was too much to ask. Superb.

This privately owned pub has done major renovations over recent years to improve the interior seating area. It has been opened up and there is a wide selection of art adorning the walls. I usually go there for coffee or drinks but I'm disappointed to see there is such a limited menu. Staff are friendly and prompt in service. Car parking is limited in this small suburban street.

Perfect stay in the beautiful green room - June 2020 My fiance (a key worker) and I stayed in this room for 4 nights in June 2020 so we could care for vulnerable people. Our stay was fantastic. Cathy met us on arrival and showed us to our room, which had just been decorated and is really stylish with the feeling of a boutique B&B (but at half the cost.) The bed was large and very comfortable, excellent quality pillows and bed linens. The room has two big windows overlooking the pub's garden and with views of the Bath hills. The room is really well equipped, everything you'd expect in a good quality B&B, and my favourite touch - a Nespresso machine! The bathroom was huge and had a powerful shower and good toilet (you can't take these things for granted in Bath's old houses). Parking is free with no restrictions. The Richmond Arms is situated in a lovely quiet street 1 mile from Bath city centre (the longest terrace in Europe), walking distance from the Royal Crescent, Circus and Bath city centre. There is a bus route which stops a 7 minute walk away and a taxi to town is about £5-6.

It was so lovely to happen across this establishment today which was cozy, comfortable and very welcoming which is rare to come across these days,, also very easy to chat to the landlady and was very exciting to hear of their new plans to the new extension at the back! With the great selection of beverages, I can certainly recommend the blackfriar dark English Stout which ,, to be honest is the nicest Ale I've had in a very long time and is also brewed in the heart of Bath! Nice! I wish them all the best! 🙂

Great place for a beer or cider. Very welcoming casual atmosphere in a quiet part of Bath. Katherine was very nice to chat with and gave the place a nice charm. I was told the upstairs is being converted to an AirBnB of sorts, would definitely stay there next time around!!

Great atmosphere, skilled guitar players and friendly publican cat! Built around 1770, legend has it was frequented by none other than Jane Austen who some say never left... Must visit when in Bath!

A real gem. Cosy, casual, comfortable. A small but great selection of draught beers, including craft ales; food fresh from the outdoor grill; and a welcoming local vibe. Dog and cat friendly.

Brilliant bar, great service. Has a very nice outdoor seating area, the drinks are well kept and the staff are very friendly and engaging. One of the nicest pubs in Bath and that's saying a lot for the competition it has.

A gem of a pub, nestled in a row of houses on Lansdown hill. Well worth the walk up out of town. The garden is paved and secluded and the welcome is warm and genuine.

Have been visiting The Richmond as a local for over 20 years, and seen many changes through that time. More recently back on track and back to being a 'proper' local pub again. Good beer, great selection of wine, and a very friendly warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This place was fantastic, we happened upon it when we were away for birthday and wedding anniversary celebrations, everything about it was perfect, the atmosphere was welcoming and cosy, I had one of the best burgers of my life, and the staff were fantastic. It's not often you find restaurants these days that have just got it right. Town+House have! We are only based in Bristol so can't wait to come back again! Thank you to the manager and her staff for making it such a lovely experience.

This whiskey-forward cocktail bar is a 'must try' when in Bath. We ordered from the Vol. 3 menu specials as well as the classics, and each cocktail was meticulously made and delicious, including several from outside the whiskey family. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - they also have some local barrel picks that are well worth trying!
