Such a great addition to Prestwich Village! The new Hideout Bar is a must to visit- a beautiful and brilliant space that lends itself so well for lunches to evening drinks. Stephen and the team are always so welcoming and always work hard to ensure you enjoy your visit.

My first visit today at The Hideout was exceptional. It is beautiful inside an fabulously furnished with an excellent atmosphere and food. 5 star experience with a special mention to Steven, Maureen, Michelle and Joanne on this beautiful place. A lovely little find for brunch/lunch. Service was good and food was tasty but lacked a little in presentation. My tasty omelette looked ‘dumped’ on the plate. Despite that, everything else was very acceptable so I would throughly recommend. ♿️The tables and chairs are very close together so immediate wheelchair access seems difficult - but I’m sure the staff would move things to allow better access. The single washroom/toilet seems difficult to access. I liked the place and will go again.

Cute little cafe on the 'Prestwich strip' had a lovely soup and panini for lunch which was good value for money. Nice relaxed atmosphere but it does get busy, so i would recommend booking in advance. On my second visit I just got the panini as they only had one soup available along with the chips which were delicious 😋 but I must say it was abit on the pricey side compared to the soup deal :/

Looked for a little cafe with a lovely atmosphere to enjoy lunch with a friend. This place had a charm of it's own, cosy interior, excellent food, great service, superb coffee. Background music which was not intrusive in the slightest! A very memorable visit to a lovely Hideaway- highly recommended.

Found this lovely cafe/bar as we were struggling to find somewhere open on a Monday morning, but what a great find friendly welcome by staff, gluten free bread available. Good choice of breakfast, well presented and good portion size. Coffee nice and strong, very relaxed atmosphere. ☺️

Service was great - friendly staff and very polite. Our breakfasts were okay - not great, but fine for the price. The room is lovely but for some reason they have BBC Radio2 pumping out and it was dead annoying having that kind of game show chatter in the background. Lots of reserved signs on the tables so it's clearly a popular place, perhaps just not quite for us.

An intimate little cafe & so popular you occasionally need to book a table or try a walk-in. We visit twice a week & food is always very good and most importantly it's spotlessly clean the owner Steve his lovely neice & mum make sure you get served quickly. One of our favourite cafés in prestwich village.

Delicious food, cute interiors and friendly service. Our group got the avocado on toast and some with poached eggs / halloumi sides. Everything looked great and my full English breakfast was quite amazing actually! Also at the end we got the sticky toffee pudding muffin. Please do not skip this if it’s available. Simply unbelievable. I would come back just for this muffin to be honest. Overall, would highly recommend to check for brunch if you’re in town.

What a fantastic Café, the food, service and ambience was spot on. The staff were super friendly and even though it was busy, and I could see they were hectic, they showed us to our table with a smile. We were served in a timely manner and the food was delicious. The tables were clean and tidy and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend, and will be revisiting.

I went here with my friend on saturday as I noticed it when we were walking through Prestwich. Lovely little coffee shop, staff were lovely and food was delicious! Service was quick considering it was a busy saturday. Deffo recommend!

Since I could not find a way to reply to the owner regarding my original post, I am giving more details here. I waited for more than half an hour to get an avocado toast. After half an hour the waiter came and said everything is ready we only need to know what bread to toast which I mentioned at the time of order. No apologies for the delay even. If you are hungry and pregnant, DO NOT visit this place. Such a slow service. I already mentioned that I mentioned my bread preference when I placed the order first. Even after mentioning to the waitress who asked me for the bread preference for the second time, you still gave me white bread-based avocado toast. I had to leave because I did not have the trust in the service and I was worried whether it will take another half an hour. There is no mistake from our end. For the attitude of the staff and service, I would not even give one star. Moreover, the owner's apology was really rude.

Lovely little bar/coffee shop and amazing cake and coffee. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful and although she had lost her voice you could see she was such a hard worker, friendly and warm to her customers. A man who i presume to be the manager or senior member of staff appeared to be really off and unappreciative with his staff, but other than this it is a lovely place with a great team 😊

Such a lovely little place. Lovey food!! Service was great too! Smiley and accommodating staff! Sandwiches were 10/10! Coffees also 10/10! Ohh and them triple cooked chips were a vibe!! We were in a group of 6 and we were severely hung over and all out needs we met!

Brought my mum here for breakfast/brunch today and it was as lovely as the reviews all said. The menu has lots of options, the coffee was really nice and the place itself is clean and nicely decorated. The staff are wonderful. Will definitely be back!

I went today with my three year old and was very impressed with the service. They were happy to make my son beans on toast with a side of jam(!) even though it wasn't on the menu. They were very friendly and the food was good quality and reasonably priced.

The Hideaway is located in the centre of Prestwich's main shopping area, and is easy to find. I went there for a brunch, and was very impressed with the menu, which includes a good choice of unusual teas, as well as the more standard drinks. The food menu was also an attractive one, with a decent choice of vegetarian dishes. I had a very pleasant smashed avocado on toast with a side of halloumi and an unusual - but enjoyable - cup of watermelon tea. The premises are clean and attractively laid out, with attentive and pleasant staff. Despite the name, this isn't a place you should hide away from!

Popped in for something to eat and drink. Excellent quality food and great staff/service. Would definiteley recommend when in Prestwich. Support these independent shops all the time.

Great little cafe has alternative milks, delicious coffee and friendly staff. Didn't eat here, saw a few potential vegan options on the menu but I didn't see them listed so would have to request. Would definitely go again :)

I was Able reserve a table for lunch in this very popular coffee bar. Great service and really nice food. Salad was fresh and filling. Coffee was good and pleasant surroundings.

Staff were really good and helpful. Rose wine was excellent and good price.

Fantastic here!! up until this week I hadn't been however, I have now visited twice this week alone, once with my husband and once with my youngest son, for lunch and breakfast. The staff are exceptional and so friendly. The food is gorgeous so fresh and a good choice on the kids menu also. They have definitely made a regular customer out of me. Reasonably priced too... I would highly recommend to pay a visit and you won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous little cafe! Went on my own 1hr during lunch break from work. The food is freshly prepared so comes out warm, I had scrambled egg and bacon bagel, egg was so creamy and soft it was beautiful. The loose leaf honeydew tea is delightfully refreshing served before the food arrives in a little glass teapot so it’s at perfect drinking temperature with the food. Very friendly staff who aren’t overbearing like you find in some places. They have the radio playing at a low enough level that you can listen if you want to or chat if not but you don’t need to shout to be heard. Highly recommend though may be worth a call in advance to reserve a table for lunch on busy days or with groups of more than two people.

How have I missed this? OK its on the A56 but once inside, the modern, minimalist decor plus real plants is a delight. Very comfy and cosy seating. Staff very friendly and helpful, who knew bacon and egg on toast with a pot of tea could look so lovely and taste great. Really good value for money, background music easy, not interrupting conversation. I should imagine bigger premises soon. Thank you 😘

Just popped in for the first time and already excited to go back! Food was fabulous and service even better. Decor is lovely and a great spot to people watch.
