So noisy my head hurts no point in going if you wish to talk to your partner but if you don't then it's lively. Full of people drinking cocktails.

Dropped in, music, drinks, and a good vibe. Brilliant

The live music is great but very loud. Shout out to the local man who stole the tambourine from my friend, then flipped her as she asked for it back. You're a legend. The drinks were good, and the bathroom is cute.

Brilliant bottomless brunch and staff were so helpful when my mother felt under the weather. They couldn’t do enough! Such a great afternoon.. thanks so much guys!

Great bar with funky cocktails and usually some cool live music on a weekend evening. Gets busy but for good reason!

Did not try the food so did not leave a rating for this. Had a lovely couple of nights in here whilst staying in prestatyn only went in for one, enjoyed the atmosphere so much stayed for last orders.

Called with the off chance that they were doing walk-ins as opposed to booking a table. The staff were amazing & found us a table. All the COVID checks were in place & we were seated within minutes. We really didn't have to wait long for our drinks orders to be taken either. We was initially just having drinks but decided to have a bite to eat & ordered a couple of pizzas. They were absolutely delicious & well done to the chef. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you all x

I visited this beautiful bar back in march for a friends birthday having heard about it from friends and it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly, professional and attentive; the drinks were so innovative and each had their own “hideaway” twist to them which I loved! The live music was also a plus, the singer was fantastic and really gave the evening a fun vibe! We had the pornstar martini/strawberry martini tree which was so beautifully made & tasted lovely and the sangria jug which was amazing! Hideaway is the only place I have been to locally that makes an authentic tasting sangria, we will be back! Well done team hideaway thank you for an amazing night! :-)

Had an awful cosmo with no lime juice, cheaply made ! Tried to ask for an alternative but yo no avail. There was a group of 7 of us who would have spent a considerable amount of money there but unfortunately the bar staff were far to inexperienced and immature to recognise this.

Cocktails for the boys and pints for the girls. Look at my other reviews and 👍

Really fun night. It was speed dating and although we were a couple we weren’t made to feel out of place. Very nice staff. Reasonably priced drinks.

Love this little place, maybe small but it fits in lots of character and atmosphere. Suppirts local acts, has karaoke night and I've been told lovely food. (Uet to try it personally)The cocktails are delicious and staff aren't afraid to adapt them slightly to suit clientèle, would recommend.

I booked for food and drinks around 2 months ago. Was really looking forward to it. Turned up yesterday around 6:45 to be told that food wasn’t being served due to the chef not being there. I wasn’t informed otherwise.. we would of not traveled to Prestatyn. Really disappointed as we heard good things about the bar.

Quite a small pub , probably used to be a shop . Only 1 ladies and 1 man's toilet. Not enough for a pub ..

Lovely cocktails, which were just £5 each on the Thursday we visited. It looks beautiful in there and the staff were great. Will definitely return.

Had a baby shower here, it was absolutely amazing. The staff were very attentive and so kind and helpful. Honestly would recommend for baby showers and other small gatherings (especially with covid). The interior and exterior are both beautiful!!

First time at the Hideaway and would just like to say how friendly the staff were. We had Tapas which were very nice, enjoyed the Karaoke but the big plus was the lovely accommodating staff. They waited on during a very busy night not a single complaint & kept checking on us to see if we were ok. Will be back for another great night soon.

I have had a very busy day and skipped lunch, thought I would pop into The Hideaway and have a bite to eat. Absolutely fabulous very tasty food and great service. I would definitely recommend a visit. We'll done all!!

I visited the hideaway last night as I was out celebrating my birthday, the whole evening was a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish, the staff couldn’t have been any more friendly and the service was 10/10. Thank you hideaway for making my birthday so special xxx

What a place! Such a great find. Amazing atmosphere from the music, cocktails and food just delicious. Truly can forget your just on the high street and think your sat in a lovely little tapas bar somewhere. Staff was so lovely and friendly and accommodating would highly recommend and we’ll be sure to be paying a visit on our next trip.

We had a fabulous service by friendly, cheerful staff. Food was lovely and hot. Excellent value. Stayed on after for cocktail. Not rushed. Great value, definitely go again. Small venue, definitely book on messenger before going.

Had an great night here yesterday. Food was amazing. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. Could not recommend the Hideaway enough. Will definitely be back many times in the future.

Love this cocktail bar. Cocktails are great quality as is the tapas. The lovely staff always go out of their way to accommodate you where they can. Only discovered fairy recently and have been back numerous times and will continue to do so.

The place was empty when we arrived, but the waitress was reluctant to give us a table. With hindsight we should have walked out. My friend ordered us a jug of sangria. A family with young children came in and sat behind us. The waitress was taking their order, despite the fact we were still waiting. My friend reminded her we were still waiting. She brought the "sangria" over. As you will see from from picture, it looked like beetroot juice, due to the vast amount of fresh orange in it. I'm unsure what had happened to the fruit, as there was one lonely slice of lemon in it. This poor effort cost £18.95. We left half of it as it was too acidic. Not a pleasant experience

Had a lovely meal last night, tapas very tasty, Had bread basket plus 4 other dishes, in fact chorizo so good we ordered another one. Will be back

I only came in for a pint soon as I come in I get told its table service only understandable because of this covid nightmare so I got a table and waited for nearly an hour

Lovely drinks despite being slightly pricey. Loved the wide range of options. However, it would have been great if the menu or even the staff were more aware of which options were vegetarian/vegan. When asked about specific items, the staff members were unable to tell me which options were suited to my dietary requirements.

My and my husband came for the night as a birthday celebration and anniversary night away from home. We had travelled down to spend the night. I had pre booked my table but was not made aware how long for, I did assume with the rules maybe three hours. We arrived to a lovely bar beautifully decorated! It’s only small inside but it has been made lovely, the tables I wasn’t too keen on, high rise wood stools, slightly uncomfortable, but we were given a window seat which was lovely as I did request a nice space. The drinks from the cocktail menu were intuitive and different, it is definitely the most up to date on trend bar in Prestatyn, most places seem a little behind the times. We also ordered tapas, the food was lovely, I can’t complain we enjoyed it, and it was a fair price, the only thing I will say needs to be adapted is the artisan bread? I have been many tapas and what was presented wasn’t expected, it looked like large slabs of loaf you get from freshly bought bread. The rest of the food was lovely. Service was really good to. Wish we could have stayed longer as the table was only two hours, but overall really nice place and would revisit!

Omg what can I say. Everyone could not do enough. The manager came over and asked if we were fine. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely place! We’ve been in wales a week and this place was by far the best place we’ve eaten at! Food was delicious it really was but what made it so great was how warm and friendly everyone was right from booking it to be welcomed into the restaurant! The restaurant itself too is so pretty and nicely decorated. We ended our holiday on a high by going here and if we go to this part of wales again we will absolutely be back! Thank you!!

Nice food, very noisy so not very cosy. The table top, an old door was splintered and had a screw stuck out. Ruined my merino wool jumper, had to ask for some tape to cover it up, but don't let it stop you having a few beers and a bit of OK food. Oh almost forgot, a tapas venue with no chorizo?

I was extremely impressed with the tapas food, all cooked with the best Spanish ingredients by the chef jose. I have been to a few different tapas bars and being half Spanish myself I can honestly say the food was authentic and top notch.Maisie and Beth the lovely girls taking the orders and making the drinks were very friendly and helpful . They are very competent and also make excellent cocktails.I would definitely come back to this place again tomorrow if they were open but my husband and I are only here for a long weekend, they open again on Wednesday don’t miss out if you staying in Prestatyn.

A bit of a mixed review for the Hideaway, which is disappointing as I was so looking forward to visiting, tapas being my absolute favourite.On a positive, lovely little place, fabulous decor and the service was great. Covid precautions in place with well spaced tables, a bit odd that the waiting staff weren’t wearing masks though, especially as they’re serving food, taking orders etc.In terms of the food, very small menu but had all my favourites on there including the gambas pil pil, however when both me and my partner ordered this, we were told they had no prawns! On a Friday night in a tapas restaurant... not a great start and I’m sure anyone could have popped to Tesco (literally 5 mins away). The food we did order was nice enough though, well presented and we enjoyed most of the dishes. I’d have to question the ‘artisan’ bread basket though. I’m used to a variety of freshly made bread, not what looked like a shop bought bloomers cut into pieces. Adding olives and dips doesn’t make it artisan and definitely not worth the cost.At the end of the meal, I asked for a coffee (typically Spanish so I never thought it’d be an issue), only to be told that they don’t serve a variety of coffees. When I asked what they had, I was told “like you have at home”... instant coffee in a restaurant! I politely declined.Overall, a bit of a disappointment and not quite the ‘tapas’ experience I’m used to but lovely staff, nice food and cute venue. Will try again another time but won’t be in a rush....

Wonderful, felt very secure during COVID. Brand new Spanish chef who definitely knows what they’re doing. Beautifully decorated, attentive staff, amazing food and cocktails, hidden gem!

We called here again on the way home from our caravan after having such a great experience last time. Sunday lunch was not so great this time. Carrot Batons and one stem of broccoli were cold and undercooked and the portion size too small. We left hungry which is not a good sign. The new owner Jason seemed helpful and welcoming and was apologetic and explained a change in chef. Disappointing second visit

By far the best Sunday roast in the area. Food was superb, service was sublime with Kira and Maisie being polite, courteous and attentive. Live saxophonist in the background. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend. X

Food was nice, atmosphere was unfriendly and was way too noisy. Ordered Coke Cola and got what must have been Coke Zero from the taste - something I can't drink. Should check with people before serving something they didn't ask for.

Whilst checking our caravan after winter period , after speaking with friend we were recommended the Sunday lunch here. This was delicious, a credit to the place as it was quality on a plate, perfectly cooked beef, homemade and great portion size. Will see you very soon

Very strange set up. Drinks have to be collected and paid for separately, food had to be paid for before we had even eaten (because we didn't want a tab), menu very limited.

Another top meal will definitely return. lamb excellent and food was perfectly seasoned no need for salt and pepper all in that was top draw food

We had our Christmas Party at The Hideaway last night and what a fab night we had!! Food was amazing and the white chocolate cheese cake was the best we'd ever had!! The atmosphere got us all into the Christmas spirit with the santa on the sax, but most of all the staff were amazing and couldn't of done enough for us. Thank you so much to all the Hideaway team for a great night x

Had the best night last night at Steak and Sax night, the steak was the best i've ever had and Dave the saxophonist did not disappoint. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely friendly staff. Seated quickly and order for Sunday lunch taken. Around a 20 minute wait and it looked great. Plenty of beef but the vegetables were rather overcooked.

Always love the vibe of this cute little bar oozing cheeky charm and great tapas. Fab way to start the weekend early doors with tapas and cocktails, or chill on a Sunday afternoon with a sumptuous Sunday roast. Super friendly staff and owners. Sublime little venue for a mid week steak and sax treat, definitely a little gem on the high street

My husband and I rarely get the opportunity to venture out due to work and children commitments.. but when we do.. we always say... The Hideaway.. whether it’s for a meal or a simple few drinks.. the quality, customer service and atmosphere has always been 5*.. it’s a fantastic venue where you feel welcomed and comfortable, it’s a modern, warm atmosphere always and what makes it unique is that the owners are ‘mucking in’, working, ensuring your okay and having a good time, yet supporting their staff at the same time. Love it there and highly recommend

Only nipped in for a drink to get out of the sun didn't stay too long but i really liked the place. The decor is funky and its got a nice vibe also looks like a bar you could have good night in. The staff who served us seemed very friendly and the questions i asked about food wasn't a issue.

Always my first option in Prestatyn!! Always such a fantastic atmosphere with friendly polite staff including the owner, food and cocktails are a must !!

Visited here numerous times and always have a good time with great food, cocktails that my wife adores and great entertainment.
