What a spectacular setting with fresh and wholesome soups with really tasty ingredients. We had the crab, tomato and fennel soup which was absolutely delicious but it wasn’t hot. I should have taken it back but my husband’s soup was ok and it wasn’t worth the hassle. However, it was delicious and the view as ever was stunning, we had a fresh and warm potato roll with it as well, gorgeous.

Had always wanted to visit the hidden hut , and I was not disappointed . Went with five friends the hot chocolate was exceptional .Three had Leek Soup one had the squash soup and two of us had the dhal .All dishes were exceptional . The reason that I only gave four stars was the girl that was serving us was obviously not having a good Monday , which was a bit of a shame , as the guys in the kitchen were fab . Toilets were very clean.

Ate here twice recently. In total sampled Moroccan chicken soup , pork goulash , chicken and bacon ciabatta , hummus and a chicken “ stew”. All very tasty with lovely little accompaniments. Breads in particular were very tasty. Good portion sizes - high end street food. Really enjoyed the relaxed environment and all staff were friendly and efficient. Throughly recommend.

Weather was good and our timing perfect. We got a good seat, a nice cup of coffee and a fantastic fresh baked custard tart. Service was wonderful and the loos were clean. An hour later it was thick with people and we walked past happy that we were going back to our campsite.

We were put onto this place by our daughter, who has visited a few weeks before, and we weren't disappointed. Like several reviews, part of me doesn't want to write this, because I'd like it to remain a hidden gem. We had lunch there and return later after a coastal walk for afternoon tea and cake. This is no ordinary beach café or kiosk. This is run by people serious about food. I'd say I was tempted by every one of the half dozen main course options (plus pasties), which is unusual for me at any restaurant. The fresh cooked Mackerel sent wonderful aromers over the outdoor tables and down onto Porthcurnick beach below. But we both had the vegetable Dahl, served with flat bread freshly baked in the outside over. Later the cakes were excellent. One minor, minor downside, was that I suspect the milk was put into our teas a tad too early, and took it some time vigorously dunking the tea bag to get it to a reasonable shade of brown, but it was good tea. DV, we will be back, because I suspect for others too, the Hidden Hut is the destination, that just happens to be next to a beach.

Headed out early so we could try breakfast here. The shakshuka was excellent (it’s a favourite dish of mine so I should know) and a real bargain. The bacon bap got good reviews from my partner. The weather was great, the views even better. It all made me remember why we used to visit regularly. The only thing missing was a strong espresso but with no electric onsite I made do with a decent black coffee.

We were here on a moderately busy day, and had lunch at about 1230 just before an enormous queue formed. The sausage rolls, dahl and sardines were absolutely delicious. The vibe is lovely (maybe slightly less so when it would be super busy), with rugged flower arrangements at the handmade wooden tables. A stunning spot to have a bite to eat at. Thoroughly recommend.

The most over rated cafe. I honestly cannot see what punters see in it apart from the view. I chose a curry dish which was served luke warm consisting of more sauce than meat and veg. Impossible to eat with a tiny wooden spoon. The chef’s apron was filthy and so was his tea towel which he used to wipe down dribbles on the side of my food carton. I purchased a daal dish the previous day which was uninspiring and overpriced.

Heard lots about this place from social media so wanted to visit. Easy to park and it is a short walk to the hut (very muddy after lots of rain!). We went on a sunny day in February but not much of a queue and lots of places to sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed lamb goulash and dhal and flatbreads-it was very good but quite pricey-£16 for lamb goulash! However it was worth the visit and would recommend.

I’d been recommended to The Hidden Hut before my Cornwall visit but when I arrived for my holiday, my parents had already discovered it! They went on Sunday which is soup day and both raved about the soups they had, crab and saffron and mulligatawny, the best my Dads ever had apparently! We went back today (only 2 days later!) for lunch, the setting is absolutely stunning with beautiful views over the beach and out to sea and it’s an easy walk from Portscatho. We had chowder, Dahl and Sicilian beef, all were delicious and being gluten free I was really grateful that I had options and they subsisted my cous cous with a warm gf roll. The staff were friendly and helpful and all the guests were happy to be there, chatty and raving about the food and the setting. Good job guys, can’t wait to come back and will be recommending… what you have there is just a bit special! 🥰

Over rated. Limited food at the time. Huge queue and felt under pressure to order food quickly. As I’m coeliac they only has a seafood dish which was very expensive for a lunch at approx £14 and I got the last portion. Oh my god. So many shells in it. Definitely got the end of the casserole for sure. Had the queue not been so long I’d have taken it back but lesson learned, won’t visit again.

Great place to stop off on our walk. Cakes, drinks and ice cream all good, and with the bonus of sparrows waiting to hop onto your hand.

Absolutely amazing day spent at The Sharksfin for our daughter's wedding last Saturday. Wow! What a venue! From start to finish everything was wonderful. Great service with happy staff who were enjoying looking after us and wanted to make the day special. The canapes were gorgeous and main meal truly excellent. The Chefs worked their socks off. Would highly recommend. Thank you to Lisa and her whole team. You were fantastic! We will be back for a roast very soon 🙂!

Poor service and virtually no vegan/vegetarian options. Asked for a veggie burger which was on the menu, they didn't have any. Asked what else was vegan, they didn't know. Service was very slow and all front of house seemed uninterested and more keen to huddle round the bar chatting. One waitress was particularly rude, I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend. Lots of much friendlier places in Falmouth.
