I visited once and will visit again. It seems a nice friendly place.

Turn up at 9.10, already closed, even though they state closing at 10.00pm

I used to drink here, back in the early 80s. Just been here for a wake, the food buffet looked good. Didn't try anything, staff were pleasant and very helpful, decor was not too impressive. I just miss the old pub at heart. I guess times change and move on. Otherwise nice place.

Great local pub with, friendly staff and clientele

Lovely place, not too loud or busy, it's about what you would expect from a pub. Bar staff are friendly and quick to serve - no faffing about - and they are friendly with dogs. Toilets are clean are hygenic, at least from what I saw on the mens side of things. The garden outside is decently sized, and features a little fishpond, to help entertain children. Overall good experience and family friendly.

They put on a great do for my father's wake. Good buffet, and plenty of it. There is a lovely fire in the room and plenty of seating as well as standing areas. Staff were good and very helpful. Thank you.

Did not see much of the pub as I was at a community meeting that was held in private bar area seem like a very quite pub but no real ale and not much choice in beer generally, quiet on the night I was their with only a few locals in other bar, not sure what it is like at weekends.

Good little pub in Heathfield. I particularly liked the aspect of live Music at the venue!

Lovely friendly pub, irregular hours.

Nice, friendly staff and although there was only one other customer, who was a lovely old lady, the pub itself feels like a welcoming place. VERY odd opening times, so probably worth phoning ahead if you plan to visit? Doesn't appear to be set up as a food venue, even though they do have it available...but again, the very odd opening hours would seem to preclude this?

I thought food was good the waiter Craig was well mannered little tip look where your sitting My seat was fine:-) :-) :-)
